ONE WEEK LATER/ONE MONTH IN GAME TIME LATER

I was so glad that I able to finish my training from the remaining townsfolk. Since a week ago, I began to like this city despite the undead-ness. Why? Because everyone in here is so kind, it must be so peaceful back then when the city is still alive.

I manage learn blacksmithing, learn how to read some different language, and learn enchanthing skill. Enchanting is the most difficult to learn, since I need to put more effort than others.

I wish I could learn Tailoring and Alchemy but there is no one that able to teach, they said a years ago there is an undead spirit who able to do alchemy but his gone mad and became madness spirit. Madness Spirit is like a monster, they will act hostile towards everyone. It such a shame but with all of this skill is enough to make me strong.

From Mr. Bhard that I could learn blacksmithing. From Luna the receptionist whose teaching me about survival trick. From Mellisa the book worm, I learn how to read and know other language from her, even though just a basic. And the last one, I learn enchanting from undead skeleton, Mr. Joshep the noble enchanter. Thanks to them all I able learn something new.

At their past time, Mr. Bhard is the best blacksmith at South West region, his name is known as Hammer Madness.

Luna is kind of villager girl, with gentle and caring personality, she might be not too famous, but she is well known at this city.

Mellisa the librarian, she’s not too talkative but when she talk about book and acknowledgement she will lecturing you a lot … I meant really a lot, but despite that, she is caring person.

The noble enchanter Joshep, he might be a noble but his act is like comedian, you can say we are alike when talk about undead joke or undead-retort joke.

Aside learning crafting skill from them, I manage learn combat skill with Greatsword and acquired some skill but it’s still low compared crafting skill.

I train my combat skill by hitting some scarecrow at adventurer guild or killing some small creature like undead rat and undead crow at the city.

I was thinking to repay them, they have teach me kindly. Well... I think I will repay them all by lifting this curse. It’s about time to go to the catacomb.

The entrance is at the graveyard behind the king castle, oh yea, this city has huge castle but the entrance door is closed and somehow there is no other way to enter the castle, the folk said that the castle is empty but there is no way inside, I ask about the drainage way but they said all drainage tunnel is collapsed, such a waste, maybe there is some treasury inside there.

I ask the princess about the route to the graveyard. She said the graveyard route is dangerous at night, so I should go at daylight it seems. Even with my current skill, I able to kill undead bear but I won’t take necessary trouble.

When I arrived at the graveyard entrance, I was greeted by undead crow.

KWAAAAKK

‘Oh hi too Mr. crow, it seems rather quite here, well- it’s not really quite since so many undead mob’

I must be insane talking to undead crow.

Since I’m at level 6, killing crow or small creature just gonna get me low exp, so I won’t waste my energy to kill those crow … WAIT! I CAN’T GET TIRED!.

So? I kill them all.

Mostly just Undead rat, crow and dog, but I manage kill 2 bear nearby graveyard. At the moment, I wonder why I haven’t met any undead-madness.

The graveyard is clean from lowly undead creature so I began searching the Catacomb entrance since there is no detail or information where about the entrance.

‘It’s been a four hours maybe, but where the heck is the entrance?’

When at despair of search it. Finally I found the entrance. The entrance is at collapsed house nearby graveyard.

It’s take about an hour to clean up the house debris, no sweat for me since I can’t sweating.

When the entrance is clear I take a peek inside the entrance.

‘It’s so dark, I can’t see anything’

So, I was thinking to get some torch or make some of it.

At the mean time I leave it and go back at the city.

On the next day I have ten torch, I hope this torch enough to explore the entire catacomb or at least until I found a new clue about the curse.

This time. I was not greeted by Mr. crow again but I was greeted by mob of undead-madness creature. It seems that they are sealed away at the catacomb, that’s explain why I have not seen any of them.

I don’t know how dangerous they are nor their level, that because I don’t have observation skill. Usually you can get observation skill just by looking at enemy frequently. This is really disadvantage for me not knowing enemy power, I guess I will try to observe them and try to get observation skill first.

Luckily I manage to escape when I got greeted by the undead mob, so I go back there and hide, I will observe them.

Two hours later …

‘finally!, I have been so tired waiting it’

I forgot that I can’t get tired no matter what but I hope my real sense is not going to disabled.

There is a lot various undead, most of them is undead skeleton, there is a few undead zombie. Their average level is 12, the highest level is 15 but there is only few of them and most of them is level 6 – 11.

‘I will lure few of them, and the kill it little by little’

Because a large mob of undead it not going to be easy, I won’t risk anything, I choose to be careful rather than act cocky even I can kill them all in group,

I lure them by throwing some stone. When they are lured at my place and already at my kill range, I kill them mercilessly since if you are not kill them completely, they will rise again.

After repeating the same thing, I got new skill.

When I manage to kill many of them, they realize that their number slowly gone. The undead monster become more aware. Since they become more aware and likely distracting them is become useless I began to show my face … or at least showing my skull.

Welp! After few moment I able to kill few of them but my gear is need repairing so I retreat for now.

‘whew, I barely escaping from them, gladly I choose this name and blessed to be safe … or maybe my name has nothing to do with it, I just ran when I got a chance’

I need to repair my equipment and keep it at best quality and performance, since there is no one sell a potions nor made it- I can only rely on my gear. Since it’s dangerous to hunt at night, I log out and wait few hours before login again.

When I log out I notice that I’m ran out of food supply.

‘My food stock is running low, I need to buy it later- Maybe after I clean up the graveyard, if the mob not increasing’

And then I eat instant food and take a bath to refresh my mind.

I don’t want to made my apartment become stink, so I always take out the trash, took a bath and do chores regularly when I log out.

When I’m done with chores. I login at game again.

Before I go hunt at the graveyard want to I check my equipmentv first.

‘Now I’m ready’

When I arrive at the graveyard, it seems the number of undead is not increase- it’s a good sign. I began to hunt them one by one, it’s a bit hard when you got ganged but I manage to shake them and kill them all.

Another tiredness battle of undead. Four hours has passed away and my gear need repair again before exploring the catacomb.

As I said before when I’m done clearing mob at the graveyard. I logout game and go to groceries store.I need to buy all necessary stock and supply, but then was I thinking about that I need to socialize with my ex-colleague or with the neighborhood since I don’t want to people began to know me as weirdo which always locked himself at the apartment.

‘I will explore the catacomb tomorrow, but I guess I better take some more rest before playing again’

Another day has passed.
