Shun together with his guild finally returns. They managed to convince Ao to help them repair Hana's soul.
"We finally retuned," Yuya let go a deep sigh. "After all that commotion earlier." He uttered before they enter the crowded room.
Shun looked at Rai and whispers, "We're living in a world with superpowers, why the hell there's an hospital in this place?!"
"This place was created by the system so that player's have a permanent safe zones for recovery and some stuff, like buying health and mana potions." Rai answered.
"I see," Shun murmured.
"Oii, you two... aren't you going inside?" Ryuga approached Rai and Shun. "She's your friend, you should be there by the time she wokes up." said Ryuga.
"I hate crowded places, and I hate seeing people cry. If she wokes up her family will be happy, but for Hana... She'll definitely blame herself for Mei's death." Shun truthfully replied. "As for me, I have something to do. So go ahead Rai," Shun quickly turned his back and walk separately with Gojou.
"What's up with those two?" Rai like looked at Ryuga before entering the quite room.
Yuya, Ao, Rai, and Hana's whole family was inside the crowded room, waiting for Ao to start the restoration process. Ao started drawing a magic circle into the air using light green mana from his fingertips.
Ao slowly closed his eyes and started chanting, "Chronos god of time, hear my plead. Reverse the outcome as I chanted."

SKILL "REVERSE RESTORATION" IS ACTIVE...

"sigh..." Shun let go a sigh before reaching the rooftop of the hospital building, together with Gojou. "What do you want to talk about Touma?"
"Well first let me ask, did you really–"
"No, I didn't kill him...o-or atleast I'm not the one who killed him." Shun quickly interrupted Gojou's question.
"I see," Gojou stares at the sky as he speaks. "But... I want to know everything that happened in that raid."
"I was unconscious for a day, I don't know much. You should ask Yuya." Shun respectfully answered.
"He don't know that much either," Gojou looked at Shun with suspicion. "Maybe you know something."
"How can you tell?" Shun mumbled.
"After that raid, you were the only one who've gone through many changes. You know what I mean, right?" Gojou took a quick glance at Shun's right hand.
"How did you know that much?" Shun quickly hides his hand.
The rumors about you, killing the dungeon boss and you losing your alchemy skills, I know everything about them." Gojou grinned.
Shun widened his eyes in surprise, he quickly face Gojou and said, "ok fine, I'll tell you."

Shun quickly lowered his body to sit on the rooftop.
"First, about that dungeon incident. I found out from Yuya that Rein and Mei has been abducted by Touma Lee and five others. Apparently, Touma betrayed the whole strike team by using them as a bait to the dungeon boss, and he want to do the same with Rein and Mei, so we went to save them."
"When I first arrive inside, I saw Rein barely holding the boss with her summons. She was protecting Mei who's already dying beside her. I have to make a tough decision whether I will save them and run or die protecting them. The boss was too strong to begin with and Mei keeps on insisting to prioritize Rein's safety over herself." Shun frowned as he tells the story.
"The dungeon boss will kill both of them If I don't hurry, so I made my decision to save Rein instead. Then Mei passed away as I tried to carry Rein who's already passed out because of multiple injuries, I just barely managed to save her."
"Then Yuya arrives together with the others. I told them to carry Rein and get out of the dungeon. After they left, all I can remember is I was dying that time." Shun looked at Gojou.
"You mean, You can't remember how you took down the dungeon boss?" Gojou raised his eyebrow. "Please continue you story from the parts that you can remember."
"Okay, so after that, I found myself standing in front of Touma for some reasons. With blood splattered around him, and he looks scared for some reason. After that Yuya and I fought against him until I somehow managed to took him down using a critical hit." Shun squeezed his eyes shut to replay the scene in his head.
"After that, what happened to Touma? Did he die?" Gojou curiously asked.
"No he didn't, he's HP is barely keeping him alive." Shun opened his eyes and glanced at Gojou.
"Then what happened?" asked Gojou.
"A bright light emerged out of his body, and something big and heavy is pushing me to the ground, no it's more like the gravity is pulling me to the ground." Shun told Gojou with a serious look on his face.
"Did you experience something strange during that time." Gojou asked with curiosity.
"Something strange, well Touma was acting strange during our fight to begin with." Shun joking replied.
"What do you mean?"
"Well he's not speaking a word during the fight and he crazily spamming his explosion spell as if he's not running out of mana." Shun replied.
"Blssng...znnn" Gojou murmured, his words aren't clear enough to be heard.

"What?" Shun mumbled, looking at him with suspicion.
"Nothing," Gojou smiled before standing up. "So... that's all my questions, thank you for the informations. I'll tell guildmaster Ryouma everything about his little brother to clear the misunderstanding." Gojou reached for Shun's hand.
Shun quickly grab and shook his hands. "Your welcome, sir!" Shun respectfully responded before going down the stairs with him.
"Are you going to check on your comrade," Gojou suddenly asked.
"Yeah, I would like to take responsibility for letting her sister die." Shun replied. "You, where are you going after this?"
"I'm gonna pick up my comrade, she'll be discharged today." Gojou replied, as they reached the 2nd floor through the stairs.
"I'd like to meet her." Shun smiled. "You have the greatest healer in your guild, so, why's she in this hospital anyway?"
"She likes doing solo missions, and Ao has been busy lately." Gojou replied as the approaches the room.
"Futaro Shun?!" A female voice suddenly spoked across the doorway the moment they entered the room.
A familiar scent spreads in the air as Shun turned his head to face the person speaking. In front of his eyes, he saw a feminine figure with a short white hair and her round brown eyes was sparkling as they meets each other's eyes.
Shun took as seconds before he recognizes the familiar person.
"Haru Tsukumo, is that you?" Shun hesitantly asked.
"Yes, It's me. It's been forever, since middle school, right? How are you?" The her charming female voice echoed inside Shun's ears.
"I-I'm doing just fine, how about you?" Shun replied in trembling voice.
"Well I'm still still alive, atleast." Haru jokingly replied with a smile.
"So you know each other?" Gojou replied.
"Yeah, we know each other since we we're in 6th grade," Haru proudly answered, giving Shun a smirk. "What are you doing here anyway?"
"Gojou-san and I discussed something important," Shun replied.
"Well, he's joining the raid team in Saitama prefecture raid." Gojou mentioned.
"Man, you're a hunter? I bet you're still that violent brat that I know?" Haru laughed.
"Is that supposed to be a joke? Am I supposed to laugh?" Shun gives a cold glare.
"Shun!" someone called him from behind, Shun quickly recognizes the voice of Rai.
"Who are yo... I mean, what's your name again?" Shun faced Rai.
"Seriously? Why bringing that up now?" Rai spoked in modulated tone. "Anyway, I'm here to tell you that she's awake."
"I see," Shun quickly turned his head to face Gojou and Haru, he bowed his head and said, "I'm sorry, I'd like to have some chit chat with you but I have to go." He apologized at Haru.
Shun quickly rushed to Hana's room to check on her. While approaching the door, he bumps at Ao near the entrance.
Shun lowered his head and said, "Thank you for your kindness, Ao-san." Before stepping inside the room. Inside the crowded room, he quickly noticed the tears in Hana's eyes the moment he walks in inside the gloomy room.
Shun quietly closed the door behind him and said, "I'm glad your awake," Shun brightly smiled.
Hana didn't spoke, she lowered her head to hide her tears behind her long hair. Yuya approaches Shun and whispered, "don't smile, idiot."
"What am I supposed to do? Cry?" Shun whispered back. "Dude, I want to cheer her up."
"Do something!" Yuya angrily whispered.
Shun took a minute before he finally have the courage to sincerely apologize. "Hana, I'm sorry... about you sister." Shun apologize with a serious look on his face.
"You don't have to apologize," Hana replied in shaky voice. "I'm also at fault for inviting her to come along." Hana let go a loud cry. Her tears started pouring like rain drops and everyone can't do anything to calm her down.

[7:00 PM]
Shun is gently sitting on the hospital rooftop while gazing the stars. "Tomorrow, another battle will begin. I hope no one dies, I'm tired of watching people shed tears." Shun murmured under the stary sky.
"Star gazing?" A gentle feminine voice spoked behind him. Shun quickly noticed her presence and recognized her.
"Rein, why are you here?" Shun whispered in the wind.
Rein somehow managed to hear his faint voice and replied, "I'm joining you, of course,"
Shun smirked to her reply. "How's Hana?" Shun suddenly changed the topic.
"We somehow managed to calm her using the medicine that Ao-san gaved me." Rein replied.
"I see. So, why are you here?" Shun smirked, before facing her.
"I just... ummm, want to thank you for saving me." Rein shyly spoked, avoiding eye contact.
"What's up with that shyly manner? Are you seducing me or something?" Shun jokingly replied with a laugh.
"O-Of course not, I just really want to thank you for saving my life, and I'm sorry for pushing you to make such a difficult decision." Rein brightly smiled at Shun.
Shun suddenly burst into laughter. "Don't worry, from now on, everything will be a difficult decision."

Parallels
Parallels are a constant in life. Our friends' lives often run parallel to ours; we share similar experiences or tastes- perhaps even both. Sometimes, however, opposites attract- and our lives run perpendicular. In that case, we are not attracted by similarities; rather, we are attracted to the differences in others. So, what happens when two parallels are broken apart? What might happen to them? Are they forever doomed to run alongside each other, never seeing one another, never meeting? Or, perhaps, might they be spun about? Could these lines that formerly ran alongside one another meet? Could they possibly be set perpendicular? Any feedback is welcome, so long as it is constructive. Also, you may not use any characters, ideas, places, or what have you that I present here without my explicit permission. A note: This is a story which I began over a year ago, but never got around to finishing- it feels about time to really get it going. Now, there are a couple of things about the story, and myself, that need to be said. First and foremost, there's a slow start, but by the third-fourth chapter things should be speeding up a bit. Secondly, in regards to release speed and/or word count per chapter, I make no promises- my schedule is fairly random, and in regards to word count, I will cut off any chapter at any point that feels appropriate to me- that may include cliffhangers, if necessary. I'm not trying to reach a specific word count, I am trying to create a cohesive story, with pseudo-appropriate chapter breaks. This means I will also not rush a half-baked release for the sake of getting a release out. Thirdly, I will make any edits, anywhere in the story and at any time, that strike me as necessary- typically being wording and/or formatting changes, but I may also decide to change major plot points- in that case I would put a notification in the next chapter released. Finally, and most importantly, I am a Christian; this story is intended to at least moderately reflect those values. So, if you particularly dislike any of these things, feel free to look elsewhere, and don't let the door hit you on the way out. God bless, friends.
