《Heaven's App》Ch 17: Unconscious Demon

The people who watched the scene unfolding from the ring was astonished, while the others who were expecting Liam to fight back with great tense was slightly disappointed.
People have different thoughts.
So was that student only a weak guy who only managed to pull off a trick the first time he did?
So was the student who beat a level 32 student only a rumor?
To be fair, they all have more thoughts about it, but those were the top of the list.
They couldn't just believe that the match was this anti-climactic.
Tap!
Back on the ring, Liam's opponent walked up in front of his body.
"Hmph. I apologize. I was wrong, you only lost half of your strength. I don't have time, that's why I needed to finish you off in one hit."
His face was serious as he spoke, but he suddenly grinned at the end of his speech.
"If you can hear me. You should forget the fair and square thing. I, Domino Brando, is powerful enough to break my own word and still get away with it."
He shrugged his shoulders before turning around and doing a side-glance with his disdaining eyes.
"I can easily shut things up as weak as you."
Soon after, he took a few steps forward and stared at the announcer.
"Hey, mister. Shouldn't you be announcing the winner by now?"
As he said that, the announcer flinched.
"A-Ah, I don't think it's over yet..."
He frowned just before he noticed that the announcer was pointing into something.
That was the moment he realized that there was someone standing behind him.
"Domino Brando, huh. I actually thought you were a little bit better than some people who I've met so far."
The competitor, Domino Brando, shivered as he felt a chill ran down his spine.
"What... Is this?" He mumbled before he slowly turned around.
He saw the Liam, with his indistinct smile and his cold, piercing gaze.
Tap. Liam stepped forward, still staring at his opponent.
"I now realized that you were just like those filthy scum. It made the fight unexciting. But you were proud. How nice is that." His grin widened as he spoke.
"You know, I have a bit of a history with the filthy scums I was talking about so I might have to take this chance to retaliate."

Domino Brando stepped back as his opponent, Liam Keene, did the opposite and slowly went towards him. He began to realize things and made a question for it.
"Y-You-! How did you withstand my attack?!"
"I don't know. Maybe you're weak," Liam replied and continued to move forwards.
"No way!"
"Let me show you. Have you heard of a technique called a one-inch punch?"
"What?" Domino Brando frowned but his complexion suddenly dulled, when in the blink of an eye, his opponent appeared closer in front of him with his arm and hands straightened, pointing at his right shoulder.
Heavy pressure was forcing him to not move from one spot while his eyes were locked on the hand on his shoulder as he felt a deep impression that whatever would his opponent going to do with that hand, would certainly not be good for him.
And just as his suspicion grew deeper, he saw Liam's arm trembled. It was similar to how he prepared to attack earlier when he used the skill.
"N-No..."
Within a single, the hand turned into a fist and made its way to his shoulder.
Thwack! Followed by a sound of bones cracking and meat bulging, Domino Brando, felt a crippling sensation he had never felt before. In a second, he started to sweat profoundly and every part of his body shuddered.
"AAAAAAARGH!"
A loud cry was heard.
Liam stared at his opponent and reverted his arm.
"Have you come back to your senses now?"
Domino Brando stepped back while holding his shoulder with his left hand before he spoke.
"Keuk! Y-You monster!"
"Oh, I thought you said I'm weak. Perhaps I just heard it wrong."
Liam walked towards him and somehow, from his opponent's perspective, his aura became dark and gloomy under his incomprehensible smile.
"Let me end this for you."
"W-What-"
A frightening demeanor rose up from Liam and made Domino Brando froze up.
"A demon..." He mumbled after seeing something unbelievable that made him extremely uncomfortable and terrified.
A silhouette of a demon was overlapping with Liam's appearance.
CLAP!
Liam smacked both of his palms together as hard as he could and made a deafening sound. He smiled faintly and shortly pulled his hands before staring at his opponent.
In front of him was Domino Brando, whose eyes were dilated and not moving and whose mouth was agape.

"Oh, it worked. He's actually paralyzed."
As Liam intended, his opponent was paralyzed by him doing a sudden clap.
Soon after, he moved his hands in front of Domino Brando's forehead, and with his index finger, he pushed his head which made his entire body fall flat on the ground.
THUD!
"We... WE HAVE A WINNER!!!"
"The team of Class 32 has made it to the main tournament!"
The announcer, as loudly as possible, shouted at the top of his lungs which resounded throughout the entire stadium.
Like Liam's previous match, the people watching was silent.
But unlike the last one, a few seconds later, almost all of the people rose up from their seats and made quite an uproar.
Beside the teachers who were currently shocked by the event, the majority of the spectators were filled with excitement.
Some applauded by clapping their hands, some did it by screaming and constantly praising Liam.
In one of the areas of the top floor of the stadium, a petite woman walked slowly nearing herself in a certain direction. Having a long, silky black hair that flowed down to her waist and her snow-white skin perfectly befitting her uniform, people would definitely turn their attention towards her, whether it was a student or a teacher.
However, the people who were caught by the young woman's charm didn't dare to talk to her or even get close to her, because she have a cold and suppressing demeanor and mainly because they knew her identity.
Aria Campbell.
She was the same student who was always placed on top of the rankings, and the one and only disciple of the greatest teacher in the entire academy.
Soon after, she stopped behind a man before she opened her mouth and spoke.
"Master, why did you call me for."
Her master, Severus Farla, snatched a side-glance at her before looking again at a certain direction. It took a few moments before he finally responded to her question.
"Aria, that student standing in the middle of the ring..." He spoke while still staring down at the stadium.
He continued.
"Can you look at him for me?"
Aria Campbell widened her eyes slightly after hearing his master's words, but eventually retorted.
"Yes, master."
As she said that, she closed her eyes and mumbled something. After opening it again, her usual blue eyes were replaced by a golden-colored hue as she looked at the direction where his master pointed out.
"This... This is..."
Kek.
"HAHAHAHAHA-!"
Down near the middle of the stadium, was where the team of class 32 resides. Their teacher and the rest of the team cheered together while Nathan was laughing to his heart's content.
It was rare and unusual for him to laugh like a madman but still did it nonetheless.
He was actually surprised. He didn't know about his teacher and his teammates, but he clearly heard what Liam said to his opponent earlier.
Somehow after hearing it, his confidence rose up to a frightening degree. He was motivated.
In the middle of the ring, Liam was standing wearing his careless smile.
"I didn't know that the Stun Clap technique from the Assassination Classroom would work so well."
Ding, Ding, Ding
Multiple chime was heard coming from his cellphone inside his pocket and made him want to grab it.
As he did, multiple notification popped up at once.
[A skill which was unknown to this world was just created and used by the user, making it his official skill.]
[The Heaven's App granted the user the skill named 'Stun Clap.]
[Task 3 was completed.]
[The High reward shall be given.]
[The Heaven's App bestowed the user 800 coins, 3 level increase for every attribute, and 2 level increase for every skill.]
[A Middle-Class Named Skill Book called 'Flawless Flow of Water Body Art' was given to the user.]
Liam widened his eyes. He was surprised by all of this. Especially the given skill book.
"Hm? This is obviously a martial art technique."
He stared at it again with a bit of interest.
"Skill books like this means that there are also people who use martial arts. So there are people who can kill monsters with just their own fist and kicks..."
Liam told that to himself without even realizing and laying it into his words that he himself killed dozens of monsters that ranked from E Class to C Class.
"Interesting..."

Homeland
NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER -- In Cory Doctorow’s wildly successful Little Brother, young Marcus Yallow was arbitrarily detained and brutalized by the government in the wake of a terrorist attack on San Francisco—an experience that led him to become a leader of the whole movement of technologically clued-in teenagers, fighting back against the tyrannical security state.A few years later, California's economy collapses, but Marcus’s hacktivist past lands him a job as webmaster for a crusading politician who promises reform. Soon his former nemesis Masha emerges from the political underground to gift him with a thumbdrive containing a Wikileaks-style cable-dump of hard evidence of corporate and governmental perfidy. It’s incendiary stuff—and if Masha goes missing, Marcus is supposed to release it to the world. Then Marcus sees Masha being kidnapped by the same government agents who detained and tortured Marcus years earlier.Marcus can leak the archive Masha gave him—but he can’t admit to being the leaker, because that will cost his employer the election. He’s surrounded by friends who remember what he did a few years ago and regard him as a hacker hero. He can’t even attend a demonstration without being dragged onstage and handed a mike. He’s not at all sure that just dumping the archive onto the Internet, before he’s gone through its millions of words, is the right thing to do.Meanwhile, people are beginning to shadow him, people who look like they’re used to inflicting pain until they get the answers they want. Fast-moving, passionate, and as current as next week, Homeland is every bit the equal of Little Brother—a paean to activism, to courage, to the drive to make the world a better place.
