《The Supreme Cultivator》Out of time

Unexpectedly, he heard his name come out of the young ginseng's mouth. "Bòhé chá..?" she said, causing him to freeze on spot.
Only if they met in reality would he have reacted in another way, however, not only did he tell her his name in the dream, but he also saw the same figure as the one he is staring at. But, his stare was not of ill intention or hidden motive, it was out of pure surprise.
"You.. 10 thousand year old ginseng?" He said while gulping loudly.
Both of them forgetting that they were surrounded by a crowd, they spoke slowly like robots until the crowd got bored and continued towards their destinations.
The butler stood there, her eyes vigilant as if her reporting to the author was a complete lie, but still, no one would expect an inside job to be the cause of a miracle.
Even though Bòhé chá and the little ginseng were staring at each other, Bòhé chá suddenly flinched, breaking the eye contest.
"Errr- I'll be late for school, so I got to go, bye!" Said Bòhé chá in his meticulously thought plan of escaping, and it succeeded, because.. why not? What is the problem with the plan? Is plot going to spawn some random body guard other than the butler to stop Bòhé chá? Or will he bump into another ginseng who will slow him down?
..None of that happens.
He just leaves, ending their first meeting in flash, and also making the 10 thousand year old ginseng snap out of her daze.
"What just happened.." She asked herself, but then she heard the butler call for her.
"Milady, I don't know what happened, but I agree with him that you should go to school quickly, we don't have much time.." Those words caused the little ginseng to sigh, then start moving once again..

As for the boy who escaped like the rats from Ratatouille in the first scene (spoiled), he was already sitting in his class as if nothing happened. But underneath his calm face, his mind was in disorder.
'Did we meet before? Is she some secret childhood friend that I forgot overtime? Was that dream a connected dream? If none of the ones before were correct, how did we know each other's names?' Questions upon questions filled his head until the teacher came and turned the students' attention to him.
"Cough. Today we have a transfer student, so like every other cliche story, please take care of them." The ginseng with long jade-like legs that were completely obliterated by the 10 thousand year old ginseng's jade-like legs said.
The class, which was a mix between boys and ginsengs, was chaotic, with many people screaming at each other's face whether it will be an ugly ginseng, a hot ginseng, an ugly guy or a hot guy.
Where is the 'average' choices? Well, it was combined with the 'Ugly' category since the students don't look forward to average people.
Anyhow, to stop the chaos, the teacher slammed the table, causing everyone to shut up.
"Now then, please come in." She said towards the door, and who came out was..
A hot boy.
With blond hair and two sapphire-like eyes, a well-built stature and a smile that captivates the heart, he entered the class and stood next to the teacher before saying "My name is Sǐrén Dǒng, nice to meet you." And just those words caused the females to erupt into cheers while the boys grumbled.
"I'll give you 10 minutes, ask whatever questions you want. But with order, in other words, raise your hands or you'll get your ass handed over to you." No one thought of disobeying the 100 year old ginseng.
Before any girl raised her hand, Bòhé chá raised his, and thus gained the first question, and it was-
"What is your importance to the plot?"
- But just before it was answered, the teacher interrupted "Bzzzzt. You're out of time, next question." Thus keeping the boy's importance a mystery.

An Unwavering Craftsman
Given the hereditary nature of classes, everyone expects Damien—the child of two high-tiered adventurers—to be granted a high-tier combat class of his own. Expectations are betrayed, however, when Damien finds himself instead saddled with a crafting class of the lowest possible tier: [Neophyte Tailor]. Left practically crippled compared to those with better classes, Damien wants to avoid becoming a pawn in the machinations of the nobility, desiring only to grind his level in peace while wondering why the usual rules of inheritance were broken. Was it his desire to excel by his own effort, rather than an unearned blessing from a god? Did the Five take offence at his opinions on the unfairness of hereditary classes? Or maybe it was something to do with the alien voice that intruded on his ceremony? A voice that offers great power, and freedom from the tyranny of the Five, but that never names its price. This story is litRPG-lite. While the class someone possesses controls most of their lives, people don't get dinged at for every level they gain, nor can they see their status without undergoing a special ritual. The MC has no romantic interest. Crafting is merely a way to game the system, and doesn't feature heavily in the story, aside from a few descriptions on how they're carrying out the system abuse. There is, on one unfortunate occasion, maths. The pace is quick. This was a participant in the Spring 2022 writathon. (i.e. it was posted as-written at high speed. I may give it another editing pass in the future.)
