“Ryuga, how long are we going to wait here?!” The Ghost of Alicia is wandering around Ryuga. Ryuga sighs. He is totally trying to ignore her. Alicia didn't like that Ryuga was ignoring her, so she decided to be mischievous, “You know Ryuga, I can see you naked when you go take a bath. Teehee~” Ryuga looked at Alicia with no expression. He held Alicia by her collar.

“Now listen here you fucker, I don't know who you are but stop pretending to be Alicia. It really is pissing me off.” Ryuga felt offended by the fact that he was seeing Alicia. He felt as though he was a failure every time he saw her. It was simply because of his defeat against Ryan Arkwet. There really was no other reason for Ryuga to be pissed.

Alicia looked quite sad after hearing Ryuga get angry at him, “Ryuga, I am not pretending to be Alicia. I am Alicia. I am a ghost and you can see me. Haven't you noticed it yet? People around you can't see me, didn't you feel strange about that? Do you really think that there would be someone who would care enough to mess around with you by being me?” Ryuga was feeling guilty until Alicia asked him the last question.

“Hey now, are you saying that I am not important?!” Ryuga asked with an annoyed tone. “Obviously, you're important to me, my sister, and your family, but I don't know the rest.” Those words pierced through Ryuga's heart.

(That hurt!)

Ellie walked out of the lab department and saw Ryuga outside, “Oh, hey Ellie.” Ryuga greeted Ellie. Ellie smiled, “You did well in that test of yours. Congratulations!” Ellie said with a smile.

On the other hand, Jau-Unfurn watched Ryuga and Ellie together. She felt like she would only be in their way if she went and spoke to Ryuga. Even though Ryuga didn't notice, Alicia noticed. “Psst! Listen, Sis Jau wants to talk to you. You should go talk to her. I am sure you wanted to talk to her too, right?” Ryuga looked stunned after hearing Alicia.

“I need to get going, Ellie. Let's meet tomorrow around 8. Here, outside the lab department.” Ryuga said with a smile and left quickly. “Yeah... Sure…” Ellie was confused since Ryuga left in such a hurry. Even though it was after-school time, it wasn't that late. So it was strange for Ellie to see Ryuga in such a hurry.

~GHOST WORLD ACADEMIA~

Ryuga quickly ran to the station, “Hey, are you seriously Alicia's Ghost or something and not like any superhero type of Ghost or anything like that?” Ryuga wanted to make sure that this was a hundred and ten percent Alicia and no one else. Alicia chuckled and answered, “Who else would it be dummy?” Ryuga looked surprised by Alicia's answer for quite a few seconds, but he ran to the station quickly.

At the station, Ryuga and Alicia saw Jau-Unfurn. She was about to enter the train that leads to the other world. “Call Sis Jau, she will stop, and even if she enters the train, she will step back out.” Ryuga looked confused, “Eh?” “Just do it!” Alicia said as she shook both her fists.

“Alright! Alright!” Ryuga got convinced by Alicia's words and screamed, “JAU STOP! YOU PROMISED THAT YOU WILL SPEND THE NIGHT WITH ME!”

All Alicia could do was facepalm herself. She didn't expect Ryuga to say that of all things. People might misinterpret what Ryuga wants to say and so might Jau-Unfurn and that's what happens as Jau-Unfurn's horn spirals various emotions inside her, she quickly snatches Ryuga and runs away to another platform from where the train has arrived.

“RYUGA, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!” Jau-Unfurn is like a red tomato while speaking to Ryuga. “Eh?” Ryuga doesn't understand what is happening.

“Jeez, what an idiot Ryuga. You know how to talk about a woman's breast but don't know how someone can misinterpret your words.” Alicia who is gliding over Ryuga comments while looking away from him. Ryuga takes a glance at Alicia and realizes, “YOU PROMISED THAT YOU WILL SPEND THE NIGHT WITH ME!” was something that you would say to a prostitute and not to a friend.

Ryuga looks away from Jau-Unfurn, “Sorry... I should pick my words carefully next time.” Ryuga said as he looked away. “Hey Ryuga, why did you call me...Jau?” Jau-Unfurn looked away. “Can I not call you Jau?” Ryuga asked. “No, it's totally fine...It's just that...That it's like, like an honorific we Ogres use. Like you use, san or kun or something like that. So, you see, when you call me without the honorifics-” Ryuga stops Jau-Unfurn, “Jeez, I never use honorifics, you should know that. I don't even call Dakai with honorifics.” There was a big smile on Ryuga's face as he spoke, “After all, friends don't need honorifics.” Ryuga's smile made Jau-Unfurn's heart skip a beat.

“Sis Jau holds special feelings for Ryuga. Teehee~” Alicia silently commented as she watched over them.

Ryuga and Jau-Unfurn both were catching the train to the human world. Kirio joined them sometime later too. Since Ryuga wanted to introduce Kirio to his mother, he asked even Kirio to come home with him but mostly it was so that things won't be awkward.

Kirio understood the situation and decided to tag along with Ryuga. His comment to tag with Ryuga was, “My sister is not home anyway. She said she had some party with her colleagues.” Ryuga thought that Kirio was making excuses, but he actually was speaking the truth. Ryuga went along with that so-called lie he thought Kirio was saying.

Jau-Unfurn thought that something was weird about this situation. She didn't question Ryuga though. She thought it might be some boys talk that she mustn't invade.

~GHOST WORLD ACADEMIA~

Ryuga and the others reach The Aragi household. Ryuga opens the door. Hiro was tying a shoelace and also was well-dressed. Almost as if he is going to a party. Kaori was standing right behind Hiro.

“Hey baldie, how are things?” Kirio pops from behind Ryuga and so does Jau-Unfurn. “Yes Kirio, everything is good. How is everything with you?” Hiro asked Kirio.

While Hiro and Kirio were having a chat. “You must be Jau-Unfurn. The girl that helped my little Ryuga.” Jau-Unfurn looked away with a red face. Her emotions were spiraling though. Sometimes her horn went dark red and sometimes it went light pink. “She will make a fine wife for Ryuga, won't she honey?” Kaori looked quite happy meeting Jau-Unfurn.

“W-w-w-w-wife…” Jau-Unfurn's head burst out steam as she fell into Ryuga's arm. “Jau?! Jau?! Jau?!”

~GHOST WORLD ACADEMIA~

Ryuga and his friends gathered in the living room along with Kaori. Even Hiro was there. He decided to delay his work. “So, what made you fall for Ryuga?” Kaori asked Jau-Unfurn as she served tea to everyone. “Mother, she isn't even my girlfriend. So, I don't understand, why are you treating her like she is my girlfriend. It makes me feel uncomfortable.” Ryuga said.

“I treat her like that because she is much better than that Mayumi. She is brave, has manners, gets embarrassed to come to meet the person she loves and I can give you many reasons. Not to mention, she will give anything and everything to protect you and so will you do that for her.” Kaori said.

(How the hell did she detect all that? Like seriously, is mother a stalker or something? Not like Jau loves me or anything but the other things feel pretty accurate to her. Especially that last thing.)

“Ryuga, did you date that Mayumi girl?” Jau-Unfurn asked Ryuga that question. Jau-Unfurn didn't know that Mayumi killed her sister and Ryuga knew that. Ryuga also knew that Mayumi betrayed his trust and Bleed's trust too. Ryuga looked down at the ground and said, “Yeah, we did date for about a year.”

Jau-Unfurn didn't like that one bit. She didn't like that Ryuga dated someone like Mayumi in the past. It made her jealous. Her horn was turning darkish green, filled with jealousy. That's when a familiar voice spoke, “But that's all in the past, right?” Kirio Dakai became Ryuga's wingman. Ryuga gave Kirio a thankful look and nodded. “So, it's fine,” Kirio said with a smile and looked at Jau-Unfurn. Jau understood why Kirio was looking at her. Her anger settled down and in the end, she let bygones be bygones.

Alicia smiled as she looked over Ryuga, “Not only someone who holds special feelings for you, you have a fine friend as well, don't you Ryuga?”

Ryuga looked at Alicia and smiled, “I do have some fine friends now. Mayumi was my past, and you guys are my present.” Ryuga said with a wide smile.

Kaori stood behind Hiro and smiled as she looked at Ryuga, “He fits well with those misfits, doesn't he?” Hiro asked Kaori. “Misfits?” Kaori looked confused. “Yeah, Kirio Dakai is a misfit, he is a delinquent who killed his friend, someone who was quite rich and powerful for the sake of justice, and Jau-Unfurn is a misfit too. She tried to go against the Arkwets, but she was shutdown. In our world, the world of police, they would be called misfits for going up against someone whose power is way above their standards. It is hard to comprehend those kids. Since they don't easily fit in this world of ours.” Hiro explained to Kaori.

Kaori chuckles, “Wouldn't that make you a misfit as well, my bald husband?” Hiro didn't like Kaori teasing him for not having hair. “Well, misfits or not. For me, they look like a normal bunch of kids who are having fun right now.” Kaori said as she looked at Ryuga and his friends talking, and having fun.

Hiro sighed and got up, “I need to get going.” Hiro said. “Why don't you kids join him?” Kaori asked Ryuga and the others. “Where are we supposed to go though?” Ryuga asked. “The crowning of the new mayor of this city is taking place. That's why the special party is taking place at the Blue District. Nothing much.” Hiro said.

“I can join but what about Kirio and Jau?” Ryuga asked. “Oh don't worry, Dakai-san can wear one of your father's suits, and looking at Jau's height and body, my clothes should fit her.” Kaori said with a smile. “Yeah...If you guys don't mind-”

Before Ryuga could complete his sentence Kirio spoke, “Yeah, I don't mind since my sister is out today. So let's get some clothes and change.” Kirio said. Jau-Unfurn nodded and hummed, “Umu, umu!”

(You guys didn't even think twice before saying yes…Did you?)

“Alright then everyone, get changed. I will help Jau-Unfurn get change.” Kaori said. Hiro sighed, “I am going to be the only one to be late, won't I?” Hiro felt disappointed.

~GHOST WORLD ACADEMIA~

Ryuga and Kirio both came to the living room in suits. Ryuga wore a blue suit and pants with a white shirt and black bow and Kirio wore a classical black suit that Ryuga's father handed him.

“Damn I look sexy!” Dakai said as he looked at himself on his phone. Ryuga sighed and looked away but that's when Jau-Unfurn arrived in a dazzling pink gown. Ryuga's eyes were stuck onto her.

Alicia whistled and gave Ryuga a smug look, “My sister is a complete beauty, isn't she?” Ryuga was so enthralled by Jau-Unfurn's beauty that he didn't even notice that Alicia asked him a question.

Kirio walks up to Ryuga and says, “Is your mum a magician or something? I mean she made that Ogre with nothing but muscles look like a fucking idol or some shit.” Finally, Kirio's question breaks Ryuga's attention, and he replies with a shy face, “I don't know…”

At that moment, Ryuga's thoughts were all jumbled up. He had seen a cute side of Jau-Unfurn, but he hadn't seen her become a total beauty. Hence, all he could do was be captivated by her beauty.

“If you kids are done, we need to get going. We are already late.” Hiro said as he left. Kaori smiled and didn't say anything. Everyone left soon after but before Ryuga and the others left, Ryuga complimented Jau-Unfurn, “You look beautiful, Jau…” Jau-Unfurn's horn begun to spiral different kinds of emotions again. Sometimes it flashed red and sometimes pink and sometimes even lighter pink. “Thank you.” She said to Ryuga before leaving his house.

Hiro drove his car in front of the house. Ryuga and the others joined Hiro in the car. Kirio sat in the front, and Ryuga sat in the back with Jau-Unfurn, and they finally left.

~GHOST WORLD ACADEMIA~

The car ride was pretty silent with Ryuga looking out of the car thinking about things. Jau-Unfurn felt a little nervous sitting next to Ryuga but after a while, even she fell asleep. It was a long hour drive so everyone calmly rested until they reached the destination.

Alicia connected with Ryuga via psychic powers and started talking to him. "What are you thinking about?" She asked Ryuga. "I am thinking about how things have turned out so far. I mean, you are a spirit now. Which gives me some kind of relief yet, I find myself in doubts. I feel like I need to get strong as quickly as possible but I don't have the strength to do so." Ryuga said to Alicia via their telepathy.

"You are such an idiot, Ryuga. You don't need to think long and hard. You are supposed to be a Hero in the future, aren't you?" Alicia smiled as she spoke with Ryuga. Ryuga wanted to say that he didn't want to be a Ghost/Hero but the way things are he might become one.

(Hero huh? I wonder, if I ever had any limiters, would I have chosen to be a hero of my free will...Alicia thinks I can be a hero but I doubt it. I don't even have the strength to defeat Ryan Arkwet, how the hell am I supposed to be a hero if I can't even defeat someone that weak?)

"We have reached here." Hiro says as he stops the car in front of a huge mansion. Jau-Unfurn yawns and wakes up as Kirio and Ryuga get out of the car. Soon, she joins Kirio and Ryuga. "You kids go ahead, I will look for a parking spot." Hiro said as he drove away.

"Let's get in I guess…" Kirio said and opened the door to the mansion. Ryuga entered behind Kirio along with Jau-Unfurn. The party had a lot of people, people from different races, different occupations and many more. They all were well-dressed nobles. Some were beautiful maidens and some were handsome hunks. Some were here with their boyfriends and husbands while others with their children.

There also is a table to the very right where drinks are served and where Mayumi and Bleed are. There is also a food counter to the left where Maria is eating food like a hungry dog. It truly is a dazzling party.

Even so, as soon as Ryuga entered, he realized something, the bodyguards, the people around him, he had seen them somewhere. Even Mayumi and Bleed were here at this huge party. Ryuga ignored talking to Mayumi and Bleed though since he promised to stay away. Ryuga tapped on Kirio's back, "Oi Kirio, whose mansion is this?" Ryuga asked Kirio. "Hmm? This is the Arkwets mansion. He became the new mayor of this city today. So he threw this party." Kirio said with a smile.

Jau-Unfurn heard Ryuga and Kirio talk and her horn begun to turn dark red from anger. Ryuga realized that Jau-Unfurn might do something reckless. So, he slaps Jau-Unfurn on her back and says, "Jau, you need to stay calm. If you do anything reckless, it will only lead to your destruction." Ryuga said.

"I see that even you are here, Ryuga Aragi." A familiar girlish voice said to Ryuga. Ryuga turned around and saw Ellie standing there. "I certainly didn't expect other worlders to join the party." Ryuga said. "Father was the one who got the invitation but he sent me instead. He said it's important to keep a good relationship with humans. They do supply us food after all." Ellie explained. "That is true, keeping a good relationship with other worlders is certainly important to us as well. After all, you guys make our economy bloom." Another familiar feminine voice spoke.

Ryuga turned around and saw Airi, Maria, and Isaya. Airi and Maria both wore a women's black suit and Isaya wore a men's black suit.

"Oh hey, it's you big sis Maria. I am so excited to see you. Said no one ever, gorilla woman." Kirio mocked Maria with a dead voice. "Is that so my cute little brother, Kirio. Said no one ever, weakfish." Maria annoyed by Kirio's comment replied.

"You know Maria, Kirio?" Ryuga asked Kirio. "Yeah, she's my big sister. Her Ghost name is Maria but her actual name is Amaya Dakai." Kirio pointed at Maria and said. Ryuga was surprised for a moment and then he realized that he never really got to know Kirio to know that Maria was his sister. He only knew Maria had a little brother and Kirio had a big sister nothing much. He quickly recovered from that surprise face though.

"How have you been, Ryuga?" Maria asked Ryuga. "I am fine." Ryuga said with a smile. "It's been a few days since you last came to the police station. Why don't you pay a visit?" Maria said to Ryuga. "Sure, if I get time, I definitely will visit the police station." Ryuga smiled as he spoke with Maria. At the same time, Ryuga felt like Airi was glaring daggers at him.

(What's with that new recruit?)

Ryuga also felt a menacing aura coming out of Ellie and Jau-Unfurn. "I don't feel so good Alicia…" Ryuga telekinetically spoke to Alicia. Alicia watched over him, "You should be proud of the attention your getting." Alicia said. Ryuga could only sigh and let those daggers hit him but before the daggers hit him, the stage for the new mayor gets set as he arrives in front of everyone on the second floor, Ryan Arkwet.

Ryuga clenched his fist and controlled his anger. Ellie saw that and knew at first glance that Ryuga had some kind of rivalry going on with the mayor. Jau-Unfurn also tried to control her anger.

"To begin today's ceremony, I would like to start by taking out the trash at this party. So why don't you get out of here with that Ogre girlfriend of yours Ryuga Aragi?!"

The worst has struck for Ryuga. What will he do next? Only time will tell.
