He still wasn't sure what the accumulation of powerful souls means or how it even formed about. But he's sure as hell going to use it for everything it's worth. Plus, like the main characters from those novels, he may be able to have extraordinary combat prowess!

'This is all very promising! Although I assume my soul lightning differ from just regular lightning because it affects the soul right? And on that matter how long can I use it for.' Luke fired off questions, and without missing a beat Spooky answered with,

'You pretty much guessed it. Because of our fused soul, this ability can make even the God who reincarnated you your puppet. Well, currently, at your level, you're far from this kind of power. At most, it can tear to shred people in a higher realm of this cultivation stuff. Although don't try and use the same amount of power you had with the bear. Other than that, it essentially depends on how long your body can keep up when fighting since it doesn't exhaust much your essence energy since it comes from the soul.'

Isn't this pretty much a hax ability?! His question of why he specifically didn't really come up now. Spooky just gave him a boost of confidence. Even if he wasn't at it, true potential Luke is sure he'll eventually reach it.

Yet one further thing was bugging, and he asked,

'Say Spooky, why didn't you warn me about that peak bear before? And just one more thing, do you know the exact prowess I can use without burning myself.'

'Ah, well, your soul responded to your desires of being as grand as Xiao Lingxi. It was accelerating your body, and conveniently the bear did a perfect job of further developing your soul. Even if you have the strongest soul ever, it means nothing with a small mind, no desires, and a lack of will. With more experiences, you'll understand, and oh, I need to see you in combat to make a better statement of your prowess.'

Spooky made sense to Luke. After all, when he felt forced to go on this journey, his body was heavier, and he felt weaker. But now, with each passing day and clinging on to his passion, he feels stronger than ever.

During his whole conversation with Spooky, Andrea had a similar one with Yurei.

Andrea had to admit, the thought of cursing people felt a bit, good? She didn't consider herself a particularly violent person, but her fused soul with Yurei made her interest delve a bit.

'And all I have to do is will it with my mind and soul, right? I see that bear did you use that bear to push our soul?' Andrea asked since the whole bear encounter was still suspicious.

"Yes, a weak will, weak desires breeds a weak person. But your desires, along with Luke's, especially after dying, are strong enough to take hold of our immense souls. Only this is just the beginning.' Yurei told her, and Andrea felt even now her body slowly becoming lighter like a feather.

At the same time, Luke prepared to use his lightning again, so did Andrea gain a glint in her eye, preparing to use her curse lightning. The cousins got into a cross-legged position, eyes closed, and concentrated on the sensation they felt with the lightning.

Pain was the first sensation they immediately recall. Never had they before been through a dreadfully painful experience like that. Yet they barrel through it, trying to focus on using their lightning at will.

'Desires and will. What do I desire? Why should I continue? Such questions like these...have an obvious answer!' Luke's mind went through all the stunning scenery, the excitement he felt in battle, and his dear cousin plus Xiao Lingxi's beautiful form.

He felt an unknown and yet familiar stir in his body as he thought,

'I desire to live as I please in this world! Love, respect, fame, status I will have it all! With our powerful soul, we will charge through anything! Soul Lightning come to me!!'

Luke resounding desire and will to just live life to his fullest stir his sleeping powerful fused soul. Instantly blue lightning gushed out his soul pouring into his body. Only this time, it didn't cause excruciating pain!

His body crackled with blue lightning taking on a faint aura while his hand and axe gained a solid blue lightning aura!

'My soul, my very core, is a curse existence. A curse that I embrace! A curse that much reaches every corner I visit! I will never look back to the path of mediocrity! This is my curse to invade everything and everyone I can! Come to me, Curse lightning!!'

Andrea's deceleration was a bit different from Luke's. She truly did felt like her curse needs to explore everything. It's what fuels her burning desire and passion; to satisfy her greedy curiosity. And like Luke, her soul gushed out black lightning in her body, not causing tremendous pain.

Her body crackled with black lightning gaining a faint blue aura. Furthermore, her hand and her sword gained a solid black lightning aura!

In sync, the cousin's eyes flung open with electricity shooting through them. Luke feeling the state he was in felt amazing. This newfound power surpasses whatever strength he felt before, and like Spooky said, this power isn't quickly draining him.

'I get it, due to the fact I'm not using essence energy, I won't get drain out. All that matters is my physical endurance in fighting. But hey Spooky, I assume because of our combined soul, it basically gives me an endless supply for this lightning, but can I combine it with essence energy?' Luke asked since he still wants to cultivate essence energy as well. Not only would it upgrade his body, but he knows it also increases life span.

'Hm, yea, it would. In fact, it would majorly boost your prowess. The only thing is, well, it'll drain your body very quickly. Like a few seconds quickly. Only when you get stronger can you hold out with combined attacks longer.'

"Well, well, Luke. That's the power of your soul, right? Not too shabby." Andrea spoke to him after Spooky finish. In Andrea's tone, he notices it is subtly more sinister than before. Yet with his soul, it didn't affect him at all.

Looking over to her faint black lightning aura, Luke was a bit in awe.

"Not too shabby for you too. Honestly, this power feels like a dream. I'm just guessing at this point, but we can probably fight people in the Nascent Origin realm."

"Maybe we can, but we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves now? It'll be a curse for us." Andrea told with a crooked smile. Luke didn't mind at all with the slight changes in her personality telling her,

"We'll never know unless we try. But for now, the best thing for us is to get familiar with our power. In this state, I doubt we even need to sleep."

Closing her eyes, Andrea said to Luke,

"Already a step ahead of you."

In another room similar to the cousins, Xiao Lingxi and Xiao Yun were recounting their gains from today. And it was magnificent! Plenty of Ground and Sky Spirit Grass that'll last Yuanba for a while.

The two had just finished washing up after this long day and were also discussing the cousins.

Furthermore, Spooky's curse was slowly overriding the natural presence of Andrea. He was able to become calmer around her partly because of that and from his own mental fortitude.

"And they just agreed to come back with us! I have so many things I want to show Luke, a-and Andrea!" Xiao Lingxi felt a small rush from thinking about spending time alone with Luke. Her impression of him just gets better with each passing thought she had about him, to the point where spending time alone with him seemed magical.

But it was a bit shameful to show these kinds of thought to her little nephew! So with a slight blush, she manages to stutter out Andrea's name at the end, though Xiao Yun could pick up on her emotion.

He could tell at this point even if he did hold some suspicious to the cousins; his little aunt would vehemently disagree with whatever he said. However, it wasn't like he held much suspicion since Luke generated a trustworthy vibe.

It drew him into Luke. He couldn't describe almost being something magical about him. Smiling Xiao Yun spoke,

"I'm sure Luke and Andrea would like that. And I'm quite sure Luke would also like it if you spend time alone with him."

"I'm sure he...Ah! Xiao'er! Don't tease your aunt!" Xiao Lingxi lighten up in a blush realizing his teasing words. More frustrating, she couldn't put down those thoughts of merely spending time with Luke.

Only a day, and yet it was like this guy invaded her soul!

"Hahaha! Relax Ling'er I'm just teasing. Speaking off, when we get back, the clan examination will be starting soon. Are you prepare for that?" Xiao Yun had just reminded her, yet Xiao Lingxi felt a surprising amount of confidence.

"I know for sure I'll make grandfather proud! But I wonder if Luke and Andrea could participate, I'm sure they would do fantastic with that lightning power and amazing senses."

"There never been rule not allowing outsiders. And those two look like the types to go up for any challenge. If they could still use that same lightning, I'm afraid there will be no one our age that could match them! At least at our clan." The bear fight solidifies in the Xiao's mind; the cousins hold extreme talent.

Never before they seen anything close to that kind of power especially coming from people their age! And when they would actually see the cousins fight, the surprise would be much bigger than they're already expecting.

All-around a deep black space, was a single strand of incomparably powerful soul lightning placed by Spooky. The hidden powerful soul residing inside Xiao Lingxi still had no idea what to make of it.

Even back in her prime days, there has never been something as powerful and intimidating as this strand of soul. The only good part was the truthfulness of Spooky words.

Besides producing the occasional blue spark, the strand had done nothing to Xiao Lingxi besides making Luke more favorable in her eyes. Although suddenly, a blue flash spark in the darkness and the same small cute ghost girl appears.

'What do you want?' The voice asked a bit exasperatedly. Under Spooky, no matter how much power she held, Spooky can come and go as she pleases. Ever since Spooky first arrived, it immediately sensed her tremendous power, realizing she was nothing but an insect in front of her.

'Nothing much, just checking in on my little experiment. And it seems like women will work quite favorable for Luke. At least, women, he can make a connection with. Depending on how long it takes him, we might meet face to face real soon.'

Spooky stated, and after touching her strand of soul lightning, vanish from the other soul sight.

'Haah, on her own that being is terrifying. At least with that boy, she seemed to have no bad intention towards us. Although it looks like a flower is about to blossom between two.'
