《Adventuring In A Unique Xianxia Universe》Tomb Traps
Advertisement
Flashes of purple Spirit Power ignited the whole treasury room. Luke and Andrea easily dismantle the traps on the treasure boxes pillars, getting six in total.
The complexity in each treasure trap would've made any late-stage Purple Cloak World Spiritists pull their hair out. That is if they didn't have what the cousins have.
With the aid of their asura Spirit Power, it was but a simple task for the cousins.
Like the first one, the treasure boxes were mainly assortments of healing pills and herbs. Though each treasure box all contains vibrant high ranking pure life energy.
For their future adventures, such valuable items like this will be precious.
"This...this still is quite the shock to me…" While the cousins were the three girls were talking among themselves.
Because of how spacious this room was, the girls could freely walk around without getting in the cousins' ways.
Cang Yue was taking in the mysterious, enchanting sights of the tomb walls. Filling every inch of these walls were intricate designs that resembled the symbol of the wind.
Staring at it long enough, one would become sucked into this place, imprinting its complex history in your mind just by these designs.
At least for some people, they would have this kind of reaction.
"Oh? Still, feeling the after bliss of the kiss Yue? Don't worry, Qingyue and I were the same way!" Lingxi spoke up to her while also admiring the walls.
Though she wasn't into it as Cang Yue, a level of appreciation was there. Her eyes had turned a bit mischievous since she knowingly riled up Qingyue.
The cold piercing bright eyes of Qingyue gave Lingxi a side glance. Calmly she said, "I believe she was referring to the tomb and not our intimate moments."
"Fufu~, Luke is in another whole separate category. The walls of these tombs, I was just noting the unique design of them." Giggling softly, Cang Yue told her.
Looking at it on the outside, it indeed was a strange twist of fate they all could casually talk like this.
Previous background or status didn't matter compared to the soothing they're provided with now.
The fifth flash of purple shone in the place, and Luke was already walking towards the girls. Everything they gained was safely placed in their Spatial ring since carrying around those old boxes would be inconvenient.
Suddenly though, Luke's eyebrows creased. Glancing up at the ceiling, he sensed the inner workings of Spirit Power tremendously increased there.
Still, without a worried look on his face, Luke called to the girls, "Say, you three might want to step back a bit."
With their attention now brought, the girls were puzzled until their immediate senses picked up the dramatic power increase. Their eyes snapped to the ceiling, and Lingxi was the first one to point out,
"Ah? Is this a fail-safe if someone got all the treasures?."

"Most likely. Though only like seven figures are coming out, and the strongest is just at the Sky Lord level." Andrea commented as she got next to Luke. And right on cue,
'Chi!'
Six purple monster beasts ranging from the ninth level of Earthen Core to the tenth level appeared out of thin air. Plus, like Andrea said, the one that held the mightiest aura was a first-level Sky Lord!
The monsters all hovered a few metes in the air above them. Their dazzling purple light eyes bore into the group. Yet no one their showed any vast signs of worried.
Luke's eyes gained a fighting glint as he said, "Let me check out my new prowess now."
Towards this lineup, Andrea, with her sword alone, could handle it without soul Spirit Power. Qingyue would be able to handle the ninth level Earthen Core beasts.
While Cang Yue and Lingxi know their limits and realize their prowess wouldn't be much of help.
However, what they didn't count in was Luke's recent breakthrough to be so profound.
Igniting his hand in soul power, blue lightning crackled crazily over his hand. And this time, compared to others, he felt his electricity was significantly warmer than ever.
Simultaneously Cang Yue felt a soothing heat spread a bit in her body. It was like her Phoenix bloodline just encountered a friend.
'Zzzt!!'
Only a mere second after these Spirit monsters appear did numerous blue lightning binds blasted straight towards them.
The Spirit monsters' eyes had to burst with shock once sensing a tremendous aura crush down on them. Even for the first level Sky Lord, that Spirit Monster felt its body massively rise in body heat!
In a desperate attempt, the monsters tried to raise their arms to gather energy and block. However, accompanied by a blue flash,
'Chi!'
Luke's lightning binds had cleanly pierced straight through their heads!
Earthen or Sky Lord, none of the monster's powers held even a candle to Luke's Spiritual Xiantian prowess.
Promptly the monsters dispersed in mid-air into purple wisps of Spirit Power. Recalling his soul powers, even Luke had to admit this new realm is a bit surprising.
Though he could just guess because they were just Spirit Power monsters, they weren't near their full potential.
"Admittedly, with your scandal ways, your prowess just knows no bound." Qingyue had to remark since she could more clearly sense Luke's prowess.
Somehow it may have become a step above in the Xiantian realm!
"It was nearly...anticlimactic. But with that taken care of, it's time to go!" Lingxi had an excited cheer in her steps now.
"Going off from now, it may seem like any monsters shall be dealt with by Luke or Andrea. Though I suppose it won't be any different from usual." Despite saying it this way, Cang Yue wasn't bothered by this aspect.

After all, Luke did demonstrate by their combinations that he can release far stronger attacks than his own.
Feeling a bit hype himself by the girls' enthusiasm, Luke turned over to Andrea, saying, "Does this remind you of old exploring times?"
Subtly asking in a general way to avoid suspicious Andrea could only gain a slight smirk by this. "Compared to how we were before, I can vouch this will be a more...engaging experience."
….
Once in the tomb round hall, after leaving the treasure box room, Luke's group stared around in awe. Numerous lamps were lighting up the place that showed various tunnels.
This round hall was massively spacious, and from just first glance, one can tell going down each tunnel would be a sight to behold.
"So many options to choose from...anyone got an idea on which to start first?" Lingxi voiced out her question while Luke began to recall a particular memory.
A memory about the tombs in Martial God Asura!
One of the first-ever tombs introduced went by someone named the Imperial Sky Sage. And even just going by common sense, Luke reckons it should still be the same, having the most precious items at the end.
'And you would be right. Just a mile ahead, and you'll find it. Doesn't matter what tunnel you choose now.' Spooky confirmed his thoughts.
Moreover he then also heard,
"I think little Luke and I already found the best route, right?" Andrea asked over, essentially also confirming Yurei told her the same thing as Spooky.
"Even so, should we take the time to spread out the whole tomb? Or just go straight towards the central prizes?" Before Luke could talk, Cang Yue asked them.
"In these types of situations, the deeper we go, the more worth our time would be." Qingyue chimed in, and Luke also nodded in agreement.
"Right, even as we got in a special way, Andy and I can't tell if the tomb would suddenly trap us or something. Just watch your step." Like Luke, words were cue the group then set off walking down the tunnel just across from them.
While walking, Luke had remembered those other three youths that got teleported with them. They're either dead or somehow alive if they got fortunate or didn't bother to set off any traps.
But Luke just put this at the back of his mind since they held no importance to him. What was important was a slight reverberation in Spirit Power, Luke felt below them.
Simentousnaly he also heard the cute Lingxi say,
"Hehehe~, I can only imagine what ki-ah?" Lingxi words were cut short once her right foot sunken into the ground.
The blue tiles on the ground were all entirely the same, meaning there was no way Lingxi could even tell a trap apart. Luke had only sensed the Spirit Power once the trap activated anyways.
'Zzt!'
Instantaneously, Luke's reaction time was light speeds! A blue lightning barrier wrapped the whole group when dazzling purple flashes blared in their visions.
Dozens upon dozens of Spirit arrows, enough to skewer an early level Sky Lord blitz towards them!
To the tomb's supreme avail, the Spirit arrows only cracked upon impact once touching Luke's barrier. Luke was about to give a bold smile when abruptly Spirit Power spiked again below them!
"Jump out!"
Luke roared out, causing the girls to instantly stand on attention. He didn't have enough time to gather his own soul Spirit Power for protection since he was still running somewhat on fumes.
The instant the five of them jumped out of the barrier,
'Hua!'
Pillars of Spirit Power spikes shout from where they stood! It was a hair breathed close called yet Luke, and Andrea could sense it was far from done.
Everyone hovered slightly in mid-air while a dazzling bright purple light sparked behind them. Immediately their heads snapped back to only become surprised at the new sight.
A tidal wave of Spirit Power was rushing to drown them! If they were to get chased by this, everything would become immensely more troublesome.
This is why Luke and Andrea shared a glance, signifying what to do next. They pushed their palms out and carefully gathered their asura soul Spirit Power!
"Get behind us!"
Luke told the other girls, and they immediately complied. The wave of Spirit Power was merely a few meters away, but the cousins were faster.
With a clear shot, two balls of asura power shot into the wave.
'Chi!'
And by the supreme power of Asura Spirit Power, the waves instantly got vaporized. For a small moment, there was a profound silence.
Luke and Andrea didn't sense anymore, running Spirit Power, yet their guard didn't let up.
"Fuu, now I think it would be good to simply rush to the end. This place can catch even the two of you off guard." Cang Yue had immediately suggested it to them.
She was making sure her feet didn't touch the ground, and smoothly she quickly got the hang of flying.
"There may even be traps for trying to fly through this. Though you are right, Yue. Let's get a move on." Luke agreed with Cang Yue's idea and ignited his hand in soul power.
He was sure his soul Spirit Power couldn't last on his current reserve to make it through this place.
With a snap of his finger, he made another blue lightning barrier as the next best thing. Feeling cautious now Luke said,
"Just stick close now."
