Chapter 77: Brother Chen!

Even though Lu Chen had said this, he knew the real reason why he couldn't go out with another girl. While Lu Chen had given up on Liu Fei Fei, the emotion and feelings that he had before were something that could never be forgotten. Lu Chen knew he won't ever have the same feelings for Liu Fei Fei towards any other girl. Besides, his priority right now isn't to get a lover. But for something much grander.

While Lu Chen accepts that he isn't going to be with anybody anytime soon, he doesn't notice the change in expression Ye Meixiu makes. It looks like she got slapped in the face multiple times.

Brother Chen! Why are you so dense to the point that you don't even realize the person in front of you has feelings for you! Ye Meixiu almost broke into tears from how ignorant Lu Chen is at understanding her thoughts about him.

Ye Meixiu was about to say something to Lu Chen, but the waiter came at the perfect time towards the table. He brought with him Lu Chen's tea and Ye Meixiu's cake.

"Here is your tea, sir. Your cake will be ready in a few minutes." After the waiter places the tea and onto the table, he puts some of the desserts on the table, "And here is your strawberry shortcake and chocolate mousse, miss."

Lu Chen nods at the waiter as he takes a sip of his tea and smiles at Ye Meixiu, "Meixiu, come on. let's eat now."

Seeing that Lu Chen isn't going to understand what she was going to say, Ye Meixiu could only pout as she eats her desserts.

While Lu Chen and Ye Meixiu ate their desserts, Luo Ai frowns like she's in her own mid-life crisis, "Oh my god! There are just too much for me to choose!" The endless amount of images of the desserts on the menu is enough to make Luo AI drool in delight at how delicious they looked.

Seeing the obsessed look on Luo Ai’s face, Liu Fei Fei shook her head as she told Luo Ai, “Pick at least three, and that’s it.” Liu Fei Fei knew Luo Ai has a mega sweet tooth and would order the whole menu if she isn't there to stop her from doing it.

Luo Ai stares at Liu Fei Fei like she’s facing the biggest enemy of her life, “Fei Fei, how could you be this cruel to me! Can you actually have the heart to tell me to only pick three from here!” She pushes the menu right into Liu Fei Fei’s face.

Liu Fei Fei was going to retort at Luo Ai, but the only thing she could see right now is the delicious dessert. Liu Fei Fei still had a straight face, but she did a small gulp, and Luo Ai smiles deviously. Even though Liu Fei Fei doesn’t have a crazy sweet tooth like her, she still likes sweets. And a sweet tooth is always a sweet tooth.

Liu Fei Fei compromised and said, “Five.”

Luo Ai puffs her cheeks out, five is still a small amount for her, but she nods to the compromise, “Fine. Five it is. Excuse me.” Luo AI calls out to the waiter.

The waiter comes over to the two of them and asks, “What would you ladies like to order?”

“I will get a chocolate lava cake, a green tea souffle, apple pie, banana pudding, and a tiramisu?” The moment Luo Ai starts to list the desserts she wants, she doesn't notice the change in expression from the waiter’s face.

Are all beautiful girls gluttons? When the waiter had taken the order for Ye Meixiu, he thought that Ye Meixiu is the only beauty that was a glutton. However, with Luo Ai’s large order, the waiter had changed his mind.

The waiter nods his head and then turns towards Liu Fei Fei, “What would you have, miss?” He is ready to write a large order like Luo AI.

“Yes, I will have a three-layered coffee cake.”
