Lu Chen returns back to his regular expression as he consoles her, "Meixiu, nothing is wrong. I just thought I heard somebody calling out my name." Telling her that somebody is out there trying to kill them would make Ye Meixiu worry, and Lu Chen didn't want to ruin it.

It's probably some guy jealous of me for eating with Ye Meixiu or something. If Elder Wu doesn't make a move, then it's nothing serious. Lu Chen shook off the idea of somebody trying to end his life. Elder Wu monitors him throughout the entire day, and Lu Chen knows he's also watching him from afar at this very minute. So if Elder Wu doesn't make a move, then the killing intent wasn't something serious.

However, Lu Chen became alert to his surroundings now. Even if it's nothing, he still needs to be cautious to protect Ye Meixiu.

While Lu Chen is put onto high alert mode now, Luo Ai looks at Liu Fei Fei. She sighs, " Fei Fei, Are you going to continue to stare at their table? Do you want to join in with them as well?" For the past few minutes, Liu Fei Fei had been staring intently at Lu Chen's table without even blinking for that duration. It freaked Luo Ai out as she thought, is Fei Fei a dead fish or something? She didn't understand why her best friend was staring so hard, but then, the light bulb lit up.

Ahhh, it must be the cake. Lu Chen had "stolen" the cake away from her right before her eyes. That's the only logical reason Luo Ai could come up with.

And yes, the person who had given off such a thick killing intent towards Lu Chen's table was Liu Fei Fei. All the rage she had been holding in for the past few days exploded in a single burst, which made it feel thick.

Luo Ai knew Liu Fei Fei was glaring at Lu Chen's table, but she didn't realize intent going on. Instead of noticing the killing intent, Liu Fei Fei had been radiating out; Luo Ai thought differently. She did notice the aura going off her, but Luo Ai assumes it was jealousy instead. Jealousy from how Lu Chen was eating the cake so happily.

Seeing how Liu Fei Fei isn't going to respond to what she said, Luo Ai adds, "But I still can't believe Lu Chen has changed so much. I still can't believe that he looks like this behind all that long hair." The moment Luo Ai said this, Liu Fei Fei gave her a glare.

"So what if he becomes handsome? His attitude is still trash, and his personality is worse than garbage." Liu Fei Fei berates Lu Chen as if he's the worst thing ever created on this planet. She couldn't stand the thought of being in the same world as him. Just thinking about this is enough to make her gag.

Lu Chen had done too many things to Liu Fei Fei for her to forgive him.

Luo Ai couldn't help but shake her head as she puts her hand in the air, waving the white flag, "Hey, don't get angry at me. Fei Fei, I was just stating the facts. You can't deny it."

"But what I'm more interested in is why Ye Meixiu and Lu Chen are hanging out together now. Lu Chen doesn't even realize how much trouble he's going to get with the boys." Luo Ai chuckles.

Lu Chen is not only going on a date with Ye Meixiu. Also, they went to the most popular dating sites as well. If the entire school finds out about this, the amount of hate he will get from the boys will be crazy.

Liu Fei Fei's hate for Lu Chen dies down as knowing that he'll get beat calms her heart. She starts to wonder as well, " Hmm, but why are they together now?" Repeating Luo Ai's comment, Liu Fei Fei couldn't understand.

Ye Meixiu was the person who made the decision to distance herself from the three of them. But now that she has returned, she started to get close to Lu Chen.

Did she hear that Lu Chen had gotten over me? That is the only reason why Ye Meixiu would make a move now. Unlike Luo Ai, Liu Fei Fei knew that Ye Meixiu had a die-heard crush on Lu Chen from the beginning. Heck, Liu Fei Fei was so happy and even tried to pawn Lu Chen off on her.
