Chapter 105: Learning Endurance
Elder Wu took off his mitts and claps his hands, "That's it for your accuracy training. We will work on the second exercise now." A slight smile forms on his face as he stares at Lu Chen.
"Yes, sir!" Lu Chen shouts. He was eager to see what the next exercise would be. But before he could have time to imagine what it's going to be, he suddenly fell to the floor. The pain had overwhelmed his stomach!
"Argh!" It felt like a hammer had just rammed into his stomach. But he knew it wasn't as Lu Chen could feel it was Elder Wu's fist. He slowly looks up to Elder Wu, wondering why he hit him so suddenly.
"Get back up." Elder Wu's tone turns cold. He didn't care if Lu Chen was in pain or not. He needs him to understand this pain.
Even though the pain was excruciating, Lu Chen slowly gets up from the floor. But every time he moves his body, his stomach screams out in pain.
"Lu Chen, the second lesson I will be teaching you is endurance. In an actual fight, many variables will determine who gets out of it alive. But the one factor you will always have to rely on is your endurance and an iron will to withstand everything. To increase your endurance, bear all of this pain. Grow from it and understand it."
When Lu Chen heard the next objective, he wonders if Elder Wu had gone crazy. So I'm a punching bag now? Even though Lu Chen has some doubts about it, he quickly gets into his stance. Lu Chen says, "Please advise."
Elder Wu smiles again, "Alright." He quickly approaches him and begins to punch him everywhere.

Lu Chen made a strained expression. Each and every single blow Lu Chen took, he wanted to throw up on the spot! Yet, Lu Chen didn't fall at all. Instead, he stood tall, understanding that the pain would be beneficial for him in the long run.
Hold Hold! I cannot fall!
This entire process took around half an hour to finish. What was left is a bruised-up Lu Chen, sprawled on the floor, not moving at all. Elder Wu begins to dust his hands off, unfazed by Lu Chen looking half-dead.
"That's it for today. Lu Chen, I want you to practice your one-two combination every day with your workouts as well."
"....yes....sir." Lu Chen was in so much pain and was too tired to say a proper yes to Elder Wu.
Elder Wu looks at his watch and suggests, "You should go take a shower and have breakfast. You have morning classes today, and I don't want you to be late."
Lu Chen didn't say anything else as he slowly got up from the floor. Like a zombie, Lu Chen limps towards the manor. Before he went inside, Lu Chen bows his head to Elder Wu, "Thank you....for the lesson."To earn a second chance like this from Elder Wu is due to his kindness, and Lu Chen knew he could have made it more difficult.
Elder Wu bows his head back to him. This was the forming of the relationship between master and disciple. The moment Lu Chen was out of sight, Elder Wu takes out his phone and dials a number.
"How was he?" A hoarse voice said through the phone.
"it's too early to tell. But the young master would become strong after my training." Lu Chen's ability to replicate his moves was impossible to do without any training.

If he could copy my moves with a glance, what else could he copy? Elder Wu shivers from the thought. If Lu Chen could do this, he wouldn't be called a prodigy. Instead, he'll be a monster.
Even if Lu Chen couldn't, Elder Wu has a hunch that Lu Chen would still become a strong person. But it was only a hunch for now.
"Hehehe. Not only is my grandson the cutest person in the world, but he's also a fighting genius. He will become the embodiment of greatness when he grows up!" The hoarse voice changed to a gentle one as he went on, praising Lu Chen like a doting grandfather.
Elder Wu rolls his eyes at how his friend continues to go on and on about Lu Chen.

I'm JUST a Farmer NOT an Adventuerer! (Isekai) Light Novel (Watashi wa tada no nōmindeari, bōken-kade wa arimasen!)
Simple farm life in a simple village is all Aiel has ever known. Monster slaying? Exploring?... Those are things for adventurers, knights, and heroes, aren't they? But what Aiel doesn't know is when one day a cute, but clutzy adventurer accidentally stumbles into his village, his life will never be the same._____________________________________ I've always liked the idea of stories about people who travel to other worlds that are different, yet familiar to what they know. Stories about "what if" world's where things operate like what a modern person would see in a video game. But another more so would be what it is the people we call NPC's actually think. This story explores such a situation on such a world. My story is called: "I'm JUST a Farmer, NOT an Adventurer!!!" A lighthearted comedy Isekai light novel currently ongoing. I really appreciate feedback and take it all under consideration. Everything helps me improve my story. Let me know your thoughts, what you would have preferred to see, or even things you'd hope happen. I always enjoy hearing people's thoughts. I hope you enjoy reading! I also upload on Wattpad: @TakeshiYumiNori And you can find the audiobook version on YouTube: Just type the title "I'm Just a Farmer NOT an Adventuerer!!!
