Chapter 109: Let’s pray for Xiao Chen’s chastity.

Right now, Lu Chen's protector is not with him, and that puts him in danger. Elder Wu is going against his own logic by chastising them.

"Didn't you say a protector's job is to monitor their master 24/7? Aren't you breaking your own code by not following Xiao Chen?" Wu Zhen knew what Huo Dong is trying to do as he chimes in as well.

But Elder Wu laughs at the two's remark, "Wu Zhen, do you think I'm a fool? Of course, I made arrangements for this." Before he started training Lu Chen, he asked somebody else to monitor Lu Chen. He was handed another mission by Lu Chen's grandfather.

"Who did you as- Wait! You didn't ask that woman to monitor Lu Chen, right?!" Wu Zhen was curious as to who can replace his Lao Ba. It only took him a few seconds to think of that person.

But the look on Wu Zhen's face is pure fear. The person was somebody he would never expect his Lao Bao to send.

Even though Wu Zhen prays that it wasn't that person, Elder Wu's silent nod made it clear it was her.

"Lao Ba, are you insane?! Why would you send that female dinosaur to monitor Lu Chen?!" From the confirmation, Wu Zhen was screaming the daylights out of himself.

That woman will be the end of the young master!

While Wu Zhen was screaming, Huo Dong had a confused face to who the two are talking about. But when his buddy mentions "female dinosaur," it clicks in his mind.

Huo Dong was a person who had always supported whatever decision Elder Wu decides. However, at this moment, he questions if his master still has his sanity intact.

"Master, is sending Kang Shuchun really the best decision?"

Kang Shuchun is the same as Huo Dong, a disciple taken in by Elder Wu. She is also the very first disciple Elder Wu trained. That would make her Huo Dong's martial older sister despite being younger than him.

Being his first disciple, Kang Shuchun is one of the strongest people on the Lu family security force. The only person that can stop her is Elder Wu. But that wasn't the problem with her.

Seeing how the two are being so adamant about Kang Shuchun, Elder Wu explains, "I know Shuchun's personality is questionable in some cases. But don't you guys worry about it. She will be on her best behavior." Even though his words were to assure the two, yet the tone shows a different story. The two didn't believe it, even if he said anything else.

"Best behavior, my ass! Lao Ba, you literally gave her what she wanted on a silver platter! Next, you're going to tell me that you booked a hotel for the female dinosaur so she could do the deed with Lu Chen!" Just mentioning her is enough to make Wu Zhen shiver. Being slaughtered by her many times has made her into a female dinosaur.

He was not the only one as Huo Dong could feel all the hairs on his body stand up. Kang Shuchun has scared the two adult's lives out of them!

"Calm down, both of you. I know Shuchun's behavior towards the young master is... that. But that is exactly the reason why I chose her to monitor him."

"..." Are you serious right now?!

"Lao Ba, have you gone senile?" Wu Zhen really wants to slap his Lao Ba in the face right now.

"You know she's going to go rogue if nobody is monitoring her, right?" Wu Zhen knew what type of person Kang Shuchun is. And she definitely wouldn't follow through with his orders.

Elder Wu was about to say something to that, but he came to realize that Wu Zhen might be right. But then he claps his hands, "Well, let's just hope nothing bad happens to the young master."

There's no use crying over spilled milk now. The only thing Elder Wu could do now is to believe in Kang Shuchun's work ethic.

Wu Zhen and Huo Dong look at each other, and then they look up to the sky. They clap their hands together,

"Let’s pray for Xiao Chen’s chastity."

Hearing how the two talks like Lu Chen is already doomed, Elder Wu's doubt on having his disciple monitor Lu Chen grows even more. He was so anxious that he forgot to spar with the two.
