Chapter 151: Encircled by them

The thug drops to the floor without warning. The students and the other thugs around them didn't expect this! Before they could grasp what had happened, Lu Chen charges up to the next closest thug. I can't waste any time. He knew there's no time for him to be happy knocking down one. He had to take down more before they could realize what happened.

When Gu Qingshan had sent only five people after Long Shen, Lu Chen knew Gu Qingshan wasn't going to let him and Feng Meifeng off. However, Lu Chen had already accounted for this. I should be able to deal with seven at the least. If Duan Cheng and his group hadn't left, Lu Chen wouldn't think of pulling this stunt.

As Lu Chen charges towards the next person to beat down to the ground, Gu Qingshan didn't act like a statue. He screams out, "Cripple him!" Duan Cheng's words had spoken true. The other four thugs charge at Lu Chen. Two of them hold up their metal bats, while the others start swinging their fist at him. Shit, this is too soon. Lu Chen miscalculated in his thinking. He thought he could have beat each thug one by one, all the way until the third one at least. Their sudden charge is something Lu Chen didn't account for this soon. Even if they're common thugs, they still have the number's advantage over a single Lu Chen.

Dammit, I have to improvise then. The only option Lu Chen could decide now is to take some of the blows while striking them down one by one.

The thugs encircle him, and the barrages of punches came towards Lu Chen at opposite angles, leading him to slide out from the side. But then, the bat swung down at him. Out of reflex, Lu Chen moves his arm up to block the blow. However, it did stun his arm. The other thugs took the chance to land hits onto him. Lu Chen didn't let his stunned arm stop him as he attacks the person in front.

I can't stop. The moment Lu Chen slows down even for a second, they would take advantage of him. That would be the death of him. The longer Lu Chen is encircled, the more blows Lu Chen receives from them. They wore him out like a rag doll.

Of course, Lu Chen did wore out some of the thugs as well. However, the two thugs that he knocked to the ground had gotten back up with revenge in their minds. Right now, Lu Chen only swings at the air instead of hitting any of them. He had exhausted everything. However, the only thought that kept driving him is; I have to win. Yes, the only thing that matters to him is winning! Instead of his punches being precise like his time in training, he starts flaying his arms around, trying to hit anything within his grasp.

However, that left many openings for him. A punch to the gut made Lu Chen pause his assault, and the thugs took advantage of it.
