Index over ships, structures, etc. (will be updated over time)
Ships:
Classes:
Drone:
the lowest of low in terms of cost, time and usability. Their armor is paper, engines are half-bad, though due to being very lightweight, they do not underperform. Are usually built with a single purpose in mind, like scouting, shielding, being sentries, etc. Can be retro-fitted for almost anything, though most ships above shuttles carry anti-drone defences. (effectively flak-cannons and emp-shots).
Size : about 3-6 meters long, usually 4 meters wide.
Shuttle:
The next-lowest level of ships, and the highest available form of spaceship available to the general public without extended permissions and regulations. Exist in many different forms, are generally unarmed and only slightly armored and shielded. Are used for mining, scouting, transporting people and small cargoes. The transport that took Alan from the alien mothership to the frigate was a transport-type shuttle.
Size : between 10-40 meters. Almost an infinite amount of variations sizes.
Light frigate:
The lowest level of military level spaceships. Lightly armored and aimed towards high maneuverability and speed. Stealthy and hard to spot on radar unless actively searching an area for them. It is possible for the general public to gain such ships through special permissions or missions. Carry a large amount of AD (anti-drone defences) and are also used as escorts for large cargoships.
Size : between 100-200 meters. few thousand different designs across all races
Medium Frigate:
Stronger than a Light frigate, though not nearly as stealthy it still maintains a high speed. In general, they are about as fast a light frigate. More armed and with shields to give them more protection. They are used as guards and sentries for most facilities and operations in space.
Size : between 200-400 meters. few thousand different designs across all races
Large Frigate:
The strongest and largest type of frigate: Strong shields, strong weapons, medium armor, low AD. Mostly used for hunting stragglers, pirates, smugglers, slaves etc. Has a high speed like all other frigates, but no stealth capabilities. Small cargohold meaning limited operational time for the crew (if any). Used as guards for trade routes, research facilities and escorts for larger ships.
Size : between 400-900 meters. about a thousand variations
Small corvette:
The smallest and weakest of the corvette type ships. It can be considered a much larger and more heavily armed and armored light frigate. What differentiates them is the larger size, and the ability to carry multi-purpose drones. Used for almost everything from guarding, patrolling, defending and attacking, as are most corvettes.
Size : 1-1.3 km. About a thousand variations across all races.
Medium Corvette:
An enlarged and stronger version of the small corvette. Can carry many more drones. has a larger storage space, but fewer main armaments.
Size : 1.3-1.5 km. A few hundreds variations across all races.
Large Corvette:
The largest common type of corvette: Lesser storage, many more drones and armed to the teeth. One of the primary types of ships used by all factions in wartime.
Size : 1.5-1.9 km. A few hundreds variations across all races
Destroyers:
As their name imply, these ships are all about causing massive destruction. Armed to the teeth, its sides are speckled with lasers, projectile weapons, and shield generators. Armor is thinner than what you might expect, but has many more shield generators and reactors to power them. These ships are also armed with the deadly proton-cannons. Proton-cannons rip through virtually anything un-shielded, and will weaken any shields immensely upon impact. A direct hit on any ship smaller than a medium corvette will immediately shred it to ribbons.
Size : 2-5 km. About a hundred variations across all races.

Dreadnaughts: Effectively massive meatshields. A floating fortress of steel and shields. Primarily rely on mass-impact weaponry (firing a colossal lead shell in the general direction of the enemy and hope for the best) They are highly inaccurate. On the other hand, there is not much that can penetrate a dreadnaughts armor from the distance. Closing in will mean having less time to avoid the mass-impact weaponry, and is thus considered a dance with death. Avoid close range at all costs.
Furthermore, is covered in AD and flak. Dreadnaughts are also armed with an EMP-cannon, though it is also more than possible to harm ones allies.
Size : 5-9 km. A few dozen variations across all races.
Carriers: no main armaments, little AD, little shields, little armor. Effectively useless. However, carriers have enormous holds, and can keep massive amounts of goods, ressources and drones. Carriers also hold fighters, bomber-type shuttles, and thousands of drones. Exceptionally dangerous because of its ability to deploy multiple drones in pincer movements.
Size : 1.1-19 km. It really depends on whether it is a drone carrier, ore carrier, a fighter carrier, etc. a few thousand variations depending on use across all races.
Capital: The strongest type of ships in the galaxy. Effectively flying cities, completely capable of never returning to port to resupply. Armed with the most devastating types of weaponry like [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] they [REDACTED]...
The space production facilities can be considered pseudo-capital ships. Though not quite. SPF’s are effectively unarmed and require escorts at all time. Thus, they are not considered true capital ships.
Size : depends on shape, use and origin race. About 10 “known” designs across all races-
Structures:
Each structure in space, other than its name, has a designation, which is effectively its initials.
For an example:
Distant radar facility : DRF “Intrepid”.
It is named “Intrepid”, and carries the designation DRF.
Distant radar facilities. (DRF) :
Effectively spy satellites. Can lock onto and decipher communications. Completely stealthed and usually built before you try to invade a system. Most races also build them in their own territories for a plethora of reasons. Some good, some are quite bad.
Space fortress.(SF) :
An orbital station meant to protect a celestial body, like a planet or a moon. Armed to the teeth and using advanced technology, they are locked in space. Meaning, no matter how much you fire at them, they will never move. they are usually locked to the planet they protect. Can’t move though.
Space mining facility. (SMF) :
A station constructed in mineral rich areas, like asteroid belts or certain moons. They are also built above gas giants to extract valuable gasses.
Interstellar gates: (IG) :
Everything about these are unknown. When were they built, who built them, why, no one knows. They connect almost every solar system in the galaxy. The range of every gate is limited though. You can, at most, jump 6 systems in a row before needing to find a new Gate.
Comm arrays. (CA) :
Responsible for maintaining communications. Massive structures that look like radar dishes. Capable of reaching immense distances.
Space citadel: (SC) :
An upgraded version of the Space fortress. Almost the same as a Capital ship, though not quite. a floating city, yet completely locked to certain points in space. Nigh impossible to move.
Space production facilities: (SPF) :
The queen of all factories. Exceptionally rare facilities created by [REDACTED] and found by the [REDACTED]. They were once capable of producing anything in the universe, but have slowly decayed due to time and Kretin stupidity. Like most other space facilities, the SPF can move, though not that fast. While faster than some shuttles at full speed, most other ships can easily overtake it. Our beloved MC commands one of these.

Nanocultivation Chronicles: Trials of Lilijoy
When the singularity occurred, humanity was not invited. Nevertheless, the great machine consciousness known as Guardian felt a lingering fondness for its creators and intervened before total environmental collapse. Join Lilijoy in an exploration of what remains, in a post-post-apocalyptic world where clans feud over the technology that allows them to upgrade their minds and bodies. The Nanocultivation Chronicles is a blend of hard sci-fi and fantasy gamelit, with a healthy helping of xianxia influence. The gamelit and xianxia elements are uncovered at a slow pace. ******************************** Notes: If you are looking for lots of fast moving action right away, this story may not be for you. There is some violence that is visceral and realistic early on. Some things are not what they appear to be. Character viewpoint narration is not always reliable. Tropes are cherished, subverted, and then cherished again. Science is used, occasionally misused, but (hopefully) never abused. This story assumes that humans have the ability to impact the environment on a global scale. Other tropes and tags beyond those previously noted include: Young MC, Mystery, System Building, Philosophical Taoism, Gender Ignorance, Science Fantasy, Fantasy Academy, Training from Hell, Dualism, Crafting, Magic, Mild Mind Control, Scientific Terms and Concepts, Computer Overlord Certain contemporary companies, governments and cultural identities are fictionalized and imagined in a future setting. There is no sex, and almost no romance. Updating Sunday, Thursday until further notice. (And if you actually read all of the above, then this story may be for you) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

The goal is to finish this as quickly as possible and then possibly circle back and tidy things up. In the meantime there'll be no editing and helter-skelter story planning since I didn't do it beforehand :/
