After killing those goblins, we went back to the adventurers guild, to check out my character card. One more time I signed this weird piece of paper, and one more time my skills, and stats appeared on it.
“I-It’s not a mistake…” Eri said, while still laughing.
No! It must be a mistake! This skill… It can’t be! Why is this happening?! Is because of my luck?! Is my whole life going to be like this, because of it?

“Don’t worry Ryan, a skill like this will help us with luring goblins…” Mikori didn’t even end her sentence, and Eri started laughing one more time. This time even louder.
Shut up! I don’t want to hear about this! Where is my fireball?! Where is my sword mastery? I want to use a bow! I want to use a spell!
“W-Why I have a skill like this!” I shouted, and the girl behind the counter looked at me.
“The skills are given according to many things. What you have been doing lately, who do you want to become, and…” and what! What?! “A-and… a-and your luck!” Eri said, and started laughing one more time.
Can you laugh at your customers like this!? Can you?! I will never come back to here! I will never come back!
“Ryan, I told you not to worry! This skill will be so useful! Just imagine running from those goblins!”

“Y-You can all just disappear!” I shouted, and threw the paper at the ground. After that I left running.
Whoa, I’m fast. How fast I’m running? I’m sure I’m faster than before…
“Ryan! Wait! I don’t have skills like you!” Mikori was calling me from behind, but I didn’t care.
I just ran. When I opened the door, I saw the city illuminated by the sun.
Where will I go now? What will I do? Why did I receive a stupid skill like this? Those were my thoughts, but I didn’t care. This skill wasn’t that bad…
Well, I would like to cast some spells, or fight with a sword, but what I can do? I was maybe one and a half times faster. Of course, I was still slower than the fastest man alive, but still, something like this felt amazing.
“R-Ryan please! I’m s-slower than you!”

“I will run to the end of the world! And I will never come back!” I shouted, and looked back. Mikori was still going after me.
“R-Ryan please! W-With skills like t-this, we could lure s-so many goblins!” she said, trying to take a breath.

“Ryan, p-please stop!”

I thought about those things, and I stopped. With my speed, it took her about three minutes to catch up to me.
“R-Ryan, l-listen to me…” she was still trying to catch her breath, when she was near me.
I didn’t respond, and I just waited for a moment, so she could rest.
“W-We can, l-lure so many goblins…”
“You are a monster!” I shouted, and tried to run again, but she catched me with her hand.
“N-No, listen R-Ryan! W-We can level up more! W-We can be powerful!” she said, and I looked at her.
Hmm, she might be right. But even if she is…
“I don’t want to listen to this! Why have I been even helping you?! I just want to be a NEET!” I shouted, but she didn’t want to let me go.
“N-No Ryan! You will see! W-We will be rich! We will we powerful!”
Who do you want to be?! Should little girls have dreams like this?!
I looked at her, and she was still holding me with her hands. Still trying to catch some air, and still looking at me with those stupid eyes.

“O-Okay! It seems that now I won’t be beaten for sure.” I said, and she smiled.
“R-Really! Ryan, thank you! You are the best!”
