《Mountain's folly》2. Big Mountain, small ship

"Who the fuck was that"
Peak core formation Warrior Hen Zleu was looking around the wreckage with a little bit of fear.
"That doesn't matter, some scum of the Devouring Ghost Sect I imagine".
Staring down at the boy that was laid before him, Nascent Soul elder Han Uirn, a feeling of disappointment welled up inside of him. " All this for a Qi gathering Child, Is it worth it". The other members of the Towering Mountain strike force looked around in agreement. "How is he" Zleu went to stand beside his uncle, the only reason he could get into such a prestigious task force with his relatively weak level of strength.
"He is alive, surprisingly enough, The effervescent sect were conscious enough to put some soul protection around his room, So they deserve to be awarded for that"
Taking a trinket out of his storage ring he laid it on the prone body of the teen. The square talisman with runic script intertwining its body latched on with great vigour before a golden light permeated the body. There was no sign of corruption, A surprise really they had all expected the worst. They must have got their just in time before the Heinous Cultivator could get his clutches on him. "What's wrong with him then, He should be awake by now". Ignoring the mutterings of children Elder Uirn levitated the child up onto a spiritual recovery platform.
"come let us return to the sect, Elder Benrh will be most pleased we managed to rescue his precious new disciple".
The strength of his faction will surely grow tremendously with such a promising seed. Almost worth not bringing him back. Still he was in position to go against the Elder just yet. His team was not airtight enough for him to perform such an action. One day. One day. Floating up to the ship leaving a few Warriors behind to clean up the mess and report the effervescent light sect and pay them reparations. An unfortunate turn of events but ultimately not too much a sting for our sect. The fact the Demonic cultivators were courageous enough to attack a convoy with our interests on it so blatantly was concerning. Were they preparing for a greater front or was it just an independent attack to take out a Potential peak Nascent Soul elder. It would take some time to find out. For the moment all he could was to report back to the Sect leader with his suspicions and hope that there was not war on the horizon. The stories from the last war being horrific enough that he wouldn't want to be in a commanding role in such a battleground. Still that will remain to be seen. The Airship turned about, ready to make the much longer journey back through more mundane means. No reason to open up another spatial portal and use another of the Sect leaders precious gifts.

Waking up on an enemy airship was a jarring experience. Not one I hadn't felt before, still this time was different. I had safely infiltrated the first level of the Towering Mountain Sect, once I under go the scrutiny of a High ranking elder or the sect leader himself I should be in a prime position to begin building up a Neutral or semi- righteous power base. Alongside with my foundation already in place in the Ghost Devouring Sect put me in a very good position for the future. Still I would need to survive, and if it was true that this body type was as talented as it was reported to be then I would be in for a lot of trouble. Getting to the Core formation level and communicating with the prime will not be easy. Still I was expendable so I wasn't too worried. Walking out onto the boardwalk of the Ship, brought me to the attention of quite a few people, who I assume already knew I was up. The immense pressure of a nascent soul was placed upon me as I was forced to my knees for a second.
"Apologies, sometimes I don't know my own strength among those weaker Than I".
Regaining my footing I looked up to find the Impressive robes and smug exterior of a Nascent Soul elder of the Towering Mountain Sect. It took me all of three milliseconds to designate him both as a cunt and a problem. If there was already someone so antagonistic to me, I was not looking forward to my time in the sect. It spoke of great divisiveness already. Going to my knees properly I went into a peasants attempt of a noble greeting.
"Greetings Elder, How may this Young One assist you?"
His eyes took on a certain glint, his realization that I may have been smarter than he expected was both welcome and problematic. Still it showed I would play the game, and that my apparent talent and potential didn't effect me overmuch. " Can you regale me of what happened with the convoy?"

Looking about as innocent and clueless as I could.
" No sir, All I remember was a wave of energy that knocked me out, Then I appeared here, So if there is any chance of you telling me what happened and pointing me in the direction of the other disciples of the Effervescent Light sect so i may talk to my friends I would forever appreciate it."
His eyes bore into me for quite a few seconds, before he seemed to be reconciled by something as he moved away. Ignoring my question he turned to face the front of the ship.
"well you are fortuitous with your time of awakening, Look before you at the might and majesty of your new home "
before us was a range of gigantic mountains only overshadowed by one gigantic mountain that seemed to never stopped growing as it breached the clouds and out of sight. It was quite something.

Descendants of Cosmia
Reefa, Wellor, Rozo and Auri are four teenagers trying to get through life living in a village surrounded by the barren sands of the Hariq Desert; a village isolated from the walls of the 9 Monarchs of Cosmia. The world that lies beyond the walls involves the social segregation between humans and Haaras. Haaras are people with the ability to control elements of water, air and earth, whilst humans cannot obtain this power at all. Reefa had always thought of herself to be a human with no type of elemental wielding. However, after many reoccurences throughout her childhood in which she hears the voices of people that speak in the future, she has doubts about who she really is inside. The same phenomenon happens when she is 15 years-old, but this time the voices she hears alerts her of a future attack that will happen to the people of her village. When the time had come, Reefa and her friends escape their predicament and travel to the east towards the land of dragons known as Tetranazia. Bearing in mind the last words her aunt told her with a heavy heart, she must protect her friends from the dangers ahead and venture into the walls to search for the answers of the attack. This is an original English light novel (OELN). There will be several visuals of characters and world-building as you read this novel. The story's genre is mainly Shonen-influenced Josei and Fantasy. Do note that the story is slow-paced in development, so it might not be to your liking. I'll be updating 2 new chapters every month on the 25th (SGT).(I'm doing it monthly because I have to consider the pile of college workload I have (;_;) and I'll need extra time on drawing the illustrations) Occasionally, I'll do Bonus Releases, where I release more than 2 chapter in the next monthly update Feel free to give me feedback on my story. I will very much appreciate it! (ノ´∀`) I created this story on Scribble Hub, so you can also check it out over at their platform.
