"Hello?" Van asked tentatively, worried that the old man might be dozing. The old man opened his eyes, and looked over Van, before extending his arm and taking the emblem out of Van's hand. He took a look at it and then gave it back to him. "Your room number is 2 go!" The old man said and closed his eyes again. Van didn't want to stay any longer so he made his way inside the castle where he got in due to the emblem.
The inside of the castle was astonishing as you could see the many different rooms, and brilliant architecture of the humongous building. There were many people walking around in groups, each group wearing their own set of armor. But the thing that differentiated them was the marks on their arms. It was a I or II on their left arm, while they had different emblems in their right arm.
They had all worn silver or red armor.
This set of armor has a flat top helm with a pointed, v-shaped opening leaving the eyes and mouth exposed; a pointed nose guard protects the nose. Attached to the forehead area is a bear face shaped ornament.
The shoulders are fairly oval, long and fairly small in size. They're decorated with a wide piece of thick, colored cloth, draped over each shoulder plate and hanging over the edges.
The upper arms are protected by square, half covering rerebraces which sit well under the shoulder plates. The lower arms were covered by vambraces which have a masterfully crafted upper bear jaw attached on the outer sides.
The breastplate is made from many layers of smaller metal pieces, mimicking the scales of a reptile. It covers only the front, the back is where the attachment straps are and they offer no real protection.
The upper legs are covered by square, half covering classes. The lower legs are protected by greaves which have an intricately crafted sigil attached to each outer side.
They were all moving out of the castle in a line; everyone followed their group and left one by one following the people with red armor out. Van looked around as the people were leaving one by one and found someone else who didn't have armor on them.
"Excuse me?" Van said to the young man in front of him. The young man looked at Van, curiosity etching itself on his face.

"Where are they going?" Van asked as he pointed at the group of people who were leaving the academy. The young man looked at Van with a raised eyebrow "You don't know?" He asked and Van shook his head showing his denial.
"Well...They are going to escort the new students from the other country's who would like to come and study here" He explained matter-of-factly. Van made a conflicted expression, still unable to understand. The young man looked at Van, his curiosity replaced by surprise. "Don't you know anything?" He asked Van.
Van replied with a wry smile. How could he know what had happened in the city with his status. Who would want to tell him anything in these circumstances? The young man gave out a heavy sigh "Just a few years ago there was a prophecy that spoke of someone who would take this world by a storm; the prophecy said that he/she would be a student from this academy. It was also said that whoever this person might be, he/she will without a doubt be strong and smart as he will change this world forever.
The prophecy went as such 'In the upcoming years there will be a person who shall emerge from Medwerth, Academy, this person whoever he/she might be will bring a new era with his/her's mighty strength, he/she will without a doubt take this world by a storm as he/she will destroy one army after the other. This person won't just use their brute strength as they will use both their head and heart to move everything under the heavens' I can't remember anything else but it kept on showing how this person will be in the future" The young man explained.
Van was even more confused now "Then why are people coming from different countries to this academy?" Van asked the young man, who looked at him like it was obvious. "Of course the other countries will send their people here, the prophecy only said that this person was from this academy, it didn't say anything about the person being from this country" The young man said and Van finally understood. To be honest, Van already knew why, but he thought this prophecy said the person was from this country and that this young man simply didn't remember. But if it's like that then this makes sense, but Van didn’t mind it too much, since he didn't want to spend too much time on someone else as he has his own goals.
Van took out his emblem "Do you know where room 2 is located?" He asked the young man as he held up his emblem in air, the young man looked at the emblem "Ah..Room 2 well, it is.....ROOM 2!!!!" The young man was shocked as his eyes widened and his jaw dropped, he took the emblem out of Van's hand "Did you steal it!" He shouted at Van and the people also looked at Van in shock. After the young man shouted Room 2 they were all stupefied as they turned towards Van and the young man.

Van looked around at the people who were staring at him and then back at the young man who had his emblem "I didn't steal it, the old guy in front of the gate gave it to me, and I just wanted to know where room 2 was located…. What is wrong with room 2?" Van asked. Right after he finished speaking everyone started to whisper amongst themselves as they kept observing Van with one eye.
Some of the people even pointed at him sometimes, and Van was stunned by this reaction. He kept on wondering what was wrong with room 2?
The young man handed the emblem back to Van "Room 2 is located on the second floor, just take the stairs over there and go up. Just when you come up move to the right, it is the second door to your right" The young man said, viewing Van with a new look now. Van went towards the stairs, unnerved by this reaction.
"I can't believe it, room 2!"
"The other people are not even here so how can he get room 2?"
"Is he new? I haven't seen him before?"
The people were whispering amongst themselves. But they were loud enough to be heard by Van. But he didn't pay any attention to it as he went towards his room. Right now the only thing in his head was if he would get any food here or if it costs money?
He made his way towards the room and stood in front of it, the door was just made out of wood while there was a huge number 2 sign on the door, there was a mark on the door where the key and door handle should have been, the mark seemed to be the same size and shape as his emblem so Van put the emblem on door and it opened.
The inside of the room was pretty spacious as it had a long brown couch which seemed to be made out of leather; there was a fireplace in front of the couch.
On the sides, you could see two doors on the all which led to where the beds were at; the doors were made out of the same material as the door in front.
Other than that the room seemed to be just a spacious room with a bed and a couch.
Van went to one of the rooms and put his stuff away and lay on top of the bed "Finally! It has been so long since I have had one these!" He shouted as he put his hands up in the air.
growl~
Van's stomach started to rumble and he held it tight "I am hungry" He said as he stood up from his bed and went out of the room. He made his way downstairs as that was where the hall was located based on what the people said when he asked them.
Van made his way across to the front gate towards the hall when suddenly many people started to gather around the door. He stopped to see what they were looking at. What stunned him, was the sight of many people entering the academy while being escorted by the people he saw leave the academy just a while ago.
The people they escorted were all wearing fancy clothes as they either made the people behind them carry their things or they didn’t have anything at all. Van knew exactly what types of these people were from one look at their face, he sneered as he was about to look away but his gaze was captured by one of the people coming in.
"Cute...SO CUTE!" He shouted in his head as he looked at the young woman who stepped in. She had long blonde hair with deep blue eyes, her skin was white and her features were so great it made everyone hold their breath expect for Van. He was looking at the little bird on the young woman's shoulder. The bird had blue fur with big brown eyes giving off a noble aura as it looked at the people surrounding them.
growl~
Once again his stomach started to rumble, so he put his hands on it and looked at the bird again. He didn't want to leave now, he wanted to look at it for a while longer.
growl~
sigh...
"Let's get food. I will see the bird later….. hopefully" He said and made his way out of the crowd and towards the hall
