The elder that Zi Bo and Zi Ji Ge just saved was the one known as Zheng Jing, and the one that the three of them were now trying to rescue was a fellow by the name of Zheng Zhi Long. Both of these elders were not pirates under madam Zheng while they were still alive, but through some circumstances, they were indebted to her after they arrived on planet 4.

Over time, these two had grown to become two of the most important figures under Madam Zheng’s command, they had long proved their allegiance, resolve, and determination to helping out the queen of the pirates. Unlike the other elders who weren’t didn’t take too kindly to strangers, Zheng Zhi Long and Zheng Jing were both quite excited when they heard Zi Bo and Zi Ji Ge potentially having a chance to become an elder.

For now, they had to focus on saving Zheng Jing from the predicament that he was in. Zi Bo and Zi Ji Ge went in first with the formation and tactic that they had used to save Zheng Jing while the elder himself would circle around with his ships that were among the fastest within the Forever Pirates. The enemy that was attacking Zheng Zhi Long proved to be a tougher opponent than the one who was targeting Zheng Jing. However, they were utterly unable to stop the 4 armies that had started to pile on top of his own fleet. After realizing that only failure awaited him, he did the smart thing and decided to pull back his forces so that he would not be crippled.

Zheng Zhi Long and Zheng Jing’s fleets were already in pretty bad shape from the beating that they had just fought in, but that didn’t mean that they were completely useless. They were among the pride of the Forever Pirates, how could they give up the fight so easily? The 4 of them made a plan that would center around the 4 of them splitting up into 2 groups and rescuing as many elders as they possibly could.

Zi Ji Ge told them of the news that one of Madam Zheng’s husbands would be coming along. The two elders were able to concoct a plan that would allow all of them along with anyone they rescued to be able to receive a signal that when used would gather up whoever was able to continue to fight to regroup at where Madam Zheng’s most trusted fleet would be at.

Zi Ji Ge and Zi Bo went to go rescue the elders as did Zheng Zhi Long and Zheng Jing. They were mightily successful in doing this and were able to save quite a number of their elders, however, there was still much work to be done if they were to completely drive off the Vesper’s. This location was only about an hour or two away from the position that Madam Zheng held the meeting with Zi Ji Ge and the others, and about 3 hours away from either of Madam Zheng’s husbands. Therefore, the elders that had been preparing to go to the rescue of their fellow elders were able to get to the battlefield first.

These longtime followers of Madam Zheng were no joke, they had seen their fair share of strategies. After seeing what the battlefield was like, they were able to almost instantly read the field and take off into the chaos without a second thought. With this newfound reinforcement, the rescue mission went by even faster, there was just one thing that didn’t add up though. Who was able to ensnare all of these elders and where were they now. The Forever Pirates who had fought Zheng He (Ma He), leader of the Vesper faction, all knew by now that Zheng He did not do anything without following through. This means that if he wasn’t here, it was someone else that had planned such a perfect trap. But who?

This realization came to the elders first then slowly trickled down the ranks to Zi Bo, Zi Ji Ge, and other lowly officers. It would be 4 hours after Zi Bo and Zi Ji Ge arrived did Husband 2 manage to get to the battlefield. The signal was used and everyone who wasn’t currently occupied had their fleet converge at Husband 2’s fleet. The leaders of each of the ships went aboard the main ship and had a fast discussion.

(H2) “What is the situation?” Husband 2 asked the crowd.

(ZJ) The battlefield seems to be going in our favor.” Zi Ji Ge responded.

(ZZL) “We just aren’t sure if it is Zheng He that is behind this anymore, it is a terrible thought if Vesper had another talent that had been sheltered from us that we do not even know of.” Zheng Zhi Long said solemnly.

(H2) “Is that so? Anything else?”

(ZJG) “Things are looking up for us at least.” Zi Ji Ge added.

(H2) “That’s good. What we will do is continue this attrition style warfare and we will begin to choke the enemy fleets. All of you will do your part to take down as many ships as you can with what you have. As I have the most numerous ships under me, I will start to surround our enemies in an entrapment at least 5 layers deep. Make sure you rescue as many people as you can before I make my move. You all know what I plan to do, you all know what the Forever Pirates are capable of should the need for it arise.”

“Yes sir”

“As you command”

Zi Bo looked around the room at all the faces that he had not seen before and think about all those times that it was only him and his sister fighting together. Now, they had a whole faction to work together with, it definitely ignited a sort of unity within him. One that he had not felt in such a long time. This was no mistake Zi Bo thought, this was exactly what he had to do.
