Soon after the announcements made by Sun Bin and Wu Zi Xu, Baron and Yue Fei received a letter from Madam Zheng to make their way to the headquarters of the Forever Pirates. There wasn’t anything else written on the letter, but the tone of the message suggested that urgency was needed and the two decided to drop what they were doing and immediately headed over to find out what the matter was that warranted a meeting between their biggest allies. Once Baron and Yue Fei entered into the meeting room where Madam Zheng and her two husbands were, the atmosphere was a bit gloomy.

(BM) “What’s wrong? Does this have something to do with the announcement that Wu Zi Xu made about that 3-way battle?” Baron asked making a guess.

(MZ) “Indeed it is, have a seat you two. There is something that we need to discuss with you.” Madam Zheng responded.

After being seated, Baron made eye contact with the 3 of his biggest allies and each one of them had a bit of worry on their face. Except for the first husband as his face was almost always displaying signs of either anger or disappointment.

(H1) “Baron, Wu Zi Xu has made contact with us and this involves you as well. As you know, the little match that we have to participate in is between Zheng He, Madam Zheng, and Wu Zi Xu. However, for whatever reason he may have, they also want you and your right-hand man to be in attendance as well, by our side. Why they did not contact you themselves I’ve no idea.” The First husband explained in a calm manner but still a stern look on his face.

(YF) “What could they possibly want with us?” Yue Fei questioned.

(H2) “We are not sure, but given that they are the governing body of this community, we don’t believe there are any ill-intentions. Logically, the only other assumption we can make is that they have taken an interest in you and they wish to arrange a meeting with you.” The Second husband speculated.

(BM) “If that is true, then perhaps Zheng He is doing the same thing with Zhang Da Zhi and his two right-hand men as well. But why would they do this in such an obscure way? Surely just asking us would have been less time consuming and lessen the tension.”

(MZ) “It doesn’t matter, I don’t want to force your hand Baron, but you and Yue Fei must come along with us.”

(BM) “They didn’t give an exact time and location in the announcements, do you have them now?”

(MZ) “Not yet, but we will give them to you as soon as we get them.”

(YF) “Do you 3 have any idea why they would announce something like this out of the blue? In all my years here, rarely has there been anything like this happen.”

(MZ) “You may be older than us here, Yue Fei, but your experience with the top factions is still less than us. We have a few theories and the prevailing one is that whoever impresses Wu Zi Xu out of Zheng He and myself will have the chance to enter into the Death Match tournament.”

(BM) “That would make sense considering I’ve heard rumors of Wu Zi Xu being one of the early naval masters in the Chinese community.”

(H1) “Indeed, though he has been traversing this planet going to other communities, there is no telling whether or not he has grown in strength, or weakened. Since he is the elite of the elite, we’re inclined to believe in the former. Not to mention, there are many elders and inner-circle members that have stayed here in the centuries since his departure all training for the day that their master returned.”

(YF) “Oh my.”

(H2) “That’s right, you and your team spent decades training for the aerial faction selection tournament, what gains do you think these disciples of his made in the centuries that they had been training? Needless to say, if Wu Zi Xu has also purchased a lot of blueprints on his trip, then that makes him all the more terrifying.”

(BM) “Have you gotten the battle details from them? Will it be custom or will it be the same as the Death Match tournament as they have mentioned will be the case for the mock Death Match tournament?”

(MZ) “It will be the same as the Death Match tournament. Meaning that each side will be able to bring 100 strategists into the fight. No more, no less.”

(BM) “That so, then are you suggesting us to follow you into that fight?”

(MZ) “We would be grateful if you could be one of the generals for our aerial division, seeing as how you were able to win against Wang Yi, and Eumenes.”

(BM) “I accept your offer.”

(MZ) “Thank you, with you there, I will be able to rest easy. That is all the matters I have to discuss with you.”

(BM) “Alright then, until we meet again.”

(YF) “Bye.”

Yue Fei and Baron made their way out of the Forever Pirates Hq and began talking about their own matters on their way back to their own HQ.

(BM) “So, is there anything else exciting going on at your end? I haven’t seen you in a few days so I thought I might ask.”

(YF) “Mmm, oh yes! There is one great piece of news.”

(BM) “What might that be?”

(YF) “Elder Xiao Cong has thought over his situation and has agreed to join our faction.”

(BM) “That elder who you recommended? The one that is supposed to have been the backbone of many of the community events?”

(YF) “Yes, that is the one. I’m telling you right now, with him here, he will be able to do so much for us.”

(BM) “A new faction has more matters to handle than most factions due to the constant upgrades and whatnot, will he be alright?”

(YF) “You have no idea just how efficient he is Baron, the amount of workload that we have compared to what he is used to is astronomical. As long as you pay him accordingly then he will be one of the greatest assets we will have.”

(BM) “I’ve never seen you this excited before.”

(YF) “The addition of Xiao Cong coming over since the new rules instated by Sun Tzu is definitely a blessing. Naturally, I’d be all smiles.”

(BM) “Haha, no need to be so defensive.”
