“What a beautiful place you have here, Siegfried.” A man in crimson red armor stepped forward with his fire axe in his hand stomping hard on a fallen knight laying on the floor. Beside him were two figures, one was dressed in a bright colored kimono whereas the other was dressed in a white and black dress with frills at the collar but she was easily recognizable. Before these three stood the five warriors, Hanabi, Misashi, Siegfried and I, we clearly had the numbers in our advantage so why would Tetsu dare step into this place. “Kyo! Is that you?” Hanabi questioned as she stared into Kyo’s eyes seemingly demanding an explanation as to why she would betray us.

Siegfried stepped forward and raised his right arm, “Tetsuya of the Red Crimson, how dare you set foot into my palace but worst of all, how dare you kill my daughter you bastard! Warriors I command you to attack!” Spartacus and Guan Yu charged at Tetsu who laughs and gladly accepts the uneven battle. Gawain charged at the woman in the kimono and Reinhardt advances towards Tsukuyomi with Cleo at the back support the two with her bow and arrows. Before Gawain could reach the woman, she raised up her hands and chanted, “Fifth Dimension Barrier.” She thrusts her hands forward sending a ray of light hitting Gawain directly in his torso, his body started glowing bright before vanishing from the air.

“Tsk!” Cleo lunges forward and her bow transforms into two daggers as she attempts to kill the woman. “Lunar Image.” Tsukuyomi clones herself sending the clone towards Cleo to parry her attack on the woman. Reinhardt then slams his sword hard onto Tsukuyomi’s blade sending her down on one knee. “Sister!” The woman in the kimono blasts a ray of fire at Reinhardt who easily evaded the attack. Sister? So, she must be Amaterasu, the warrior of the Sun.

Reinhardt and Cleo regrouped beside one another as Cleo got down to one knee with her weapon transformed back into a bow. “Oi! Oi! What did you do to our white knight witch?” Cleo asks as Amaterasu clicked her tongue seemingly irritated by the fact Cleo called her a witch. “I can still feel him, he seems to be sent to another plane of existence, one that would be hard to get out of.” Reinhardt replies annoyed as well.

Meanwhile on the other side, Tetsu seems to be holding his own against the two. Spartacus charges into Tetsu grabbing tightly onto his arms, then Guan Yu immediately without hesitation lunges his blade towards Tetsu. Tetsu reacted quickly by stomping the ground causing a ring of fire to spurt out around him towards the sky, Spartacus backs off with slight burn marks but he looked light it didn’t affect him at all.

“Is this all you punks have to offer?” Tetsu mocks as he raised his fire axe and races towards Spartacus who couldn’t move aside in time. Guan Yu stuck out his blade at Tetsu, parrying the swing of his mighty axe. “Damn it!” Guan Yu lost his footing after parrying the heavy strike from Tetsu, causing him to fall forward. Tetsu seizing the moment lunges onto Guan Yu but was tackled down by Spartacus, the fight between those three seemed even with no one backing down.

Tsukuyomi whispers into Amaterasu’s ear, “I’ll trap them in my barrier and you send them to the other plane, got it?” Her sister nods as the two ready themselves for their attack. Reinhardt swing his blade forwards sending a shockwave flying towards the two, but in a split second, the wave was sliced apart by Tsukuyomi who instantly appears right before Cleo and grabs onto her throat. “Fuck!” Cleo tried to react but was knocked onto the floor by Tsukuyomi who then used her lunar image move to create a separate clone who cast a mark on Cleo. All this happened in a split second with no one being able to react, Hanabi suddenly sends a crimson blast at Tsukuyomi who narrowly dodges it.

“Why Kyo? We were like family, so why?” Amaterasu steps forwards before Tsukuyomi who looks ashamed and guilty. “She isn’t part of your family, she is my sister not yours, demon!” Amaterasu sends the same ray of light at Hanabi who was rooted to the ground. “Sister!” Reinhardt leapt forward colliding against the light and vanishing into thin air. “Onii-chan!” Hanabi shrieked as she tried to lunge forward to hold onto him, but to no avail. Cleo couldn’t move as the mark on her body held her down, “Fuck! Looks like I have to do this, I call upon you mighty god Set, grant me strength for this battle!” Cleo’s eyes lit up in red as she gets back onto her feet and started floating in the air, her voice became deeper as she points at the two sisters, “Death is just the passageway to a new life, it really isn’t that bad!” Cleo laughed in a sinister voice as she flew towards the two, grabbing Amaterasu by her hair and slamming her back hard against the floor. Tsukuyomi snared at Cleo and sent white daggers of light towards her forcing her to back off.

“Cleo, are you?” Cleo turned around to face me and smiles, “I am no Cleopatra, I am the god of death Set! Child, stay back and witness true power!” Cleo stomps her foot on the floor and raises her hands into the air, red lightning and fire started forming around her body and the floor beneath us began to rumble. At this moment, Spartacus and Guan Yu turns back and retreats from the battle, leaving Tetsu in confusion. “Why are you two cowards backing off…you two stop the woman now!” With Amaterasu on the floor, Tsukuyomi steps between Cleo and her fallen sister to shield her from the attack. I knew I had to do something, there are so many questions Kyo must answer, she must have her own reasons, she’s more than a friend, she couldn’t have betrayed us!

Without hesitation, I tackled Cleo to the floor, causing the spell the stop channeling, “Oi! Child! What have you, curses!” The red aura disappears and Cleo returned back to her normal human form, Tsukuyomi took this opportunity to lift up her sister and rejoin Tetsu’s side. Tetsu glanced over at me and laughs, “Kid, you value friendship too much, Siegfried, this was a fun and enjoyable battle but all must end here.” Amaterasu’s eyes lit up as she transforms into a maiden of light with a miniature sun behind her back, instantly she casts her rays onto the other three warriors along with Hanabi and I.

My body felts light and numb as I realized that my body was vanishing and before long I blacked out…

As I opened my eyes, I was in a jungle, the sounds of birds chirping and cicadas singing reverberated around me. I got back onto my feet as I turned back to see Cleo lying on the floor motionless. Rushing over to her side, I was about to lean forward and shake her to wake her up, she seized the opportunity and embraced me flipping me onto my back. “Young master, please give me an explanation as to why you interfered with Set’s attack? If the answer is unsatisfactory, I’ll have to punish you.” She said this in a naughty tone as she placed her face close to mine, I could feel the warmth of her mouth inches away from her face. “Regardless of what I say, you’ll still punish me, lewd woman.” I shoved her off and crossed my legs together, she sat down in front of me and laughed.

“She was a friend, right? As much as I hate to say this, you did the right thing there, saving a friend is more important than anything else, keep that in mind.” I nodded and asked, “So, where are we? What do we do now?” Cleo gets back onto her feet and raises her hand towards me to help me up, “We could start by finding shelter and food then regrouping with the others, this place looks like an artificial island created by that witch, it can’t be that big.” With that, we ventured off into the woods…

[Meanwhile near the beach]

“What happened…” Hanabi scratched her head as she got back up onto her feet, looking around she saw a wash-up body on the beach and quickly runs towards it. Once she was beside it, she recognized that it was the warrior Guan Yu who was lying there unconscious. “I have to heal him.” She raised her hands over him and started chanting her healing spell, suddenly Guan Yu’s eyes opened and he instinctively grabbed onto Hanabi’s throat, upon realizing it was her, he released his grip and apologized. *cough* “It’s alright, as long as you are fine.” Hanabi helps Guan Yu up onto his feet and starts looking around in search of Souta.

“Princess, it seems like we have been trapped in an island made by Amaterasu, let’s find the others first before it gets dark.” Hanabi agrees as the two set off into the jungle while calling out for Souta and the rest.

[At the other end of the jungle]

“Guys! I’m here!” Spartacus lets out a roar that causes Gawain and Reinhardt to turn around. “Oh! Spartacus!” Reinhardt and Gawain raced towards him asking why he was here.

“I see, so young master, my sister and us five are all trapped in here? This isn’t good, lord Siegfried can’t possibly hold his own against those three. I say we regroup with the rest then find a way to escape the island!” Reinhardt exclaims as he raises his sword into the air. “Hold on tight sister, I’m coming for you…”
