Thank you everybody for supporting this novel of mine and really do hope you stick with it till the last chapter.

Sincerely, I have noticed my change in style when writing and was shocked on how sloppy the starting is.

Saladin POV

After managing to disperse the barrier, I was being applause by the receptionist who was walking towards me.

He then said while having a smile

"That was an astounding display of your enchantment, but it is still at tier one ( it is called 'jirind' in Ascquen language )

and I think others displayed skills similar to yours" - receptionist

I nodded to what he said and went to meet with the girls.

Nyorin was telling that I was a showoff with a very slight blush coming under her eye.

I just smiled at her while noticing that Laura is pulling my shirt from my right side.

She then told me that she could not see what happened but from peoples reaction, she can tell that I pulled of something cool.

Laura's left eye was glistering with admire while having a small round opened mouth at the same time looking at me, this made me pat and slowly caress her head while I could have sworn she said 'nyah'.

'Too cute...' - My thoughts

Nyorin was looking at Laura with jealousy and so I did the same to her.

The surrounding remaining adventurer's were looking at me with hate, envy, jealousy and other things.

I then stopped what I was doing and looked at the receptionist trying to get all of our attention while coughing loudly in purpose.

We all looked at him and waited for him to talk.

Preparing his voice then speaking

"Congratulations everyone who are remaining, the next trial will need you to be in a group maximum of four individuals in order to pass the next trial and so please look for group if you don't have one or if your already in a party then look for a person to join yours" - Receptionist

Everyone heard it clearly and started forming groups.

Me, Nyorin and Laura were already a group but was missing one more.

We searched for someone available until no one was remaining except one emerald skinned guy with dark blue hair.

All three of us gone to the person and asked if he is available to join our party.

The person was surprised while nodding then replied

"Really!?, Me but a hobgoblin and you races see us weak?"

Hobgoblins were considered weak and useless while being one of the races which were discriminated from some lands.

I don't really care about if their weak, I just care if they will cooperate.

I then said to the hobgoblin

"You're welcome to join and my name is Saladin, this girl with golden eyes is called Nyorin and this person who I'm currently poking the cheeks is called Laura" - Me

Laura was blushing slightly as I poke her cheeks and stop eventually.

The hobgoblin then made a slight bow while saying

"Thank you, Me name Regurv and meet you happy" - Regurv

I shook hands with Regurv and took a closer look to his appearance.

Regurv has the same height while being a bit thinner but mascular as me and wears a chainmail which matches with his silver tunic.

He wears worn out pants and shoes while carrying a mace on his left hand.

A sharp teeth is pointing out from his smiling mouth while his brown eyes shows relief of finding a group.

Regurv then averts his eyes towards Laura and Nyorin while saying

"Do not worry, Me have girlfriend back home and not require more but her" - Regurv

'I don't know why but I felt relieved for some reason' - My thoughts

Laura greeted him normally which I expected but for Nyorin, I knew she was going to act the same to everyone she meets.

"You should consider yourself lucky Hobgoblin, as we had no choice but to accept you and don-" - Nyorin

Before she could finish talking, I pulled her cheeks making sure she does not spout anything.

Afterwards I told Regurv an apology for Nyorin but he replied kindly saying

"Me don't care about people treat me as thee used to it" - Regurv

Nyorin and asking why did I do that and I replied to her that she was doing the same bad habit every time she meets anyone.

She started pouting then eventually stopped after we heard the receptionist speak.

"All right, it seems everyone managed to find a group and so we will begin the second trial. In this trial you will be moved into a new place where a single 'D rank monster' is kept and you have to beat it, you can move into the place by passing through the magical gate from your previous trial. You should quit now if you fear death as in this second trial fatality is high"

Nyorin had some kind of scared expression but is not trying to hide it while Laura is looking at the magic gate with fear and anxiety.

Regurv was trying to understand what the reception says and when he did, a grin appeared in his face while having a taint of blood lust.

For me, I felt calm... as if I don't give a damn crap if I die...

Ever since I fought that monster which was called Nugraix, I felt like something has been lost and I fear it will grow worser in time.

I still remember that I need to revive Kioni but every time I try to remember how she speaks, it doesn't appear in my head.

Our group looked towards the gate as parties pass through it and disappears while leaving white specks of light scattering the surrounding gate.

Before we entered the gate, I asked Nyorin if I could barrow her gloves and she replied with a yes but if I tell her what for.

I told her that it's for the thin iron wires as it may cut my skin if I try to do anything with it.

She accepted the reasoning and handed over her gloves after taking it out.

I took out my iron wires which were made in a very thin manner and slowly curl it around my left glove.

While I was curling, I noticed that Laura was whistling a beautiful tune which was enjoyable.

Regurv was polishing his not so long as 35 cm mace with it's top part of the stick being a iron solid orb.

As I finished preparing, I then asked the group if their ready and they replied with a yes.

We entered the magical gate and the first thing we see was creature not so far away from us in a sitting position.

Very carefully with it's inhuman eyes looks at us.

The surrounding area was filled with pillar ruins and destroyed marble houses, the sky being pitch black while the moon being bloody red.

Reasons for this silent kept in bed as we are about to be covered in blood shed. ( I really don't know why I rhymed there even though I'm bad at it )

The gate behind us disappeared and I can feel Laura's and Nyorin's anxiety increasing.

Before the creature has any chance of making a move, I used the wires which were curled in my left hand to set up a trap by using the pillars and entrances to some of the ruined houses.

The creature then stood up and was far more brutal looking than anything like the before I encountered.

Head covered with a broken helmet revealing in the left opened area a huge grin while having a dark red iris glowing brightly.

Spikes coming out from it's shoulders, instead of legs the creature has a long steel like tail and at the of the tail was a fresh head of a human coiled.

Having only one arm left while it being his burnt right arm.

The body was covered in a broken armor while revealing some of its flesh rotting ash black skin with was terrifying with its trident like horns in it head growing to the front.

There was a broken hole in the middle of the creature showing the face of a lady covered in the creatures skin while having black pitched eyes with a agonizing expression.

It was almost four times our size and it tail being as long.

The creatures grin was dripping saliva as it stares at us.

Everyone including me, pulled out our weapons while feeling some type of fear and hopelessness.

I enchanted my sword so that it can grow it's majestic flames while Nyorin also enchants her rapier with light.

Laura seems to be bending on to her knees while keeping both her hands in a praying way and starts chanting.

Regurv ran to the right towards the crumbling building with a staircase and started going upwards it.

After Laura finished chanting, we can feel that our body became lighter as she recalls her chanting.

"Oh goddess Feides, keeper of the strings of faith and well being please grant thee and my companions the essence of feeling agile for though I'm truly your devoted servant" - Laura chanting

I then charged forwards to the creature.

The creature used it's long tail to try swipe me horizontally with it's almost like steel whip.

I jumped causing me to dodge it's attack and without time when I land, I moved even faster towards the creatures tip of the tail.

It was going to swipe me with it's right arm but was flinched by Nyorin puncturing it's tail.

The creature was then hit by three constant ice spear on the face but didn't causing that much damage as the helmet mostly protected it but was enough for it to get distracted.

The tail of the creature was laying in the ground while the creature tries to take out the ice spike in it's helmet.

I then two hand my fire sword and swing it with full force on to the tail causing half of the tail to get chopped of while the surrounding flesh of the cut gets burned.

Before anything I ran towards Laura as for some reason knew something will go wrong

The creature agonizes in pain, it then moved towards Laura and was going to strike her until I ran as fast as possible to get the hit instead of her while using my sword to negate little of the attack.

I flew to the left while the pain was intense and hit the ruin marble building causing it to crumble by my body.

Laura knew what I did to protect her and quickly gone to my side where I was laying in the crumbled floor while having blood in my body.

I coughed blood as I knew some internal organs was ravished by that strike and my body was hurting like hell.

Laura was now beside me trying to look for where is the source of my pain and when she found it, she started chanting while having little tears in her eyes.

Green hue covers her hand as my wound slowly closes.

The creature was slithering towards us until, Regrez jumped from the top part of a crumbled two stories house into the creatures head with his mace aiming for it.

The mace hit hard the creatures head causing it's helmet to shatter while violet blood bursts out from its left head.

Though it has not fallen dead, it was badly hurt by that strike.

Regrez fall to the ground breaking his knee from the height.

Nyorin had anger in her eyes as she sees me hurt and leaps while puncturing the forehead of the monster deeply.

She pulled out her sword and back flips back to safety.

We thought it was over but we could hear the laugh coming from the creature.

The voice was deep and clear as we observe the lady structured face in the middle of the creature speaks

"The end is near for you pity fools" - The lady's face in the creature

Creatures body succumbs to the ground facing it's body towards the sky.

My wound healed and so helped Regrez move to a place where he can sit and let Laura heal him.

There was a bulge moving inside the creatures stomach and slowly grew larger.

Violet blood splattered every where as something steps out of the creatures body as if it just awakened.

The monster that awakened had a face of a lady but the head was rotated upside down, her hand where made of blades, she had legs and was about the size of us, her body was completely rotten and was nude.

It was something that should be kept in the depths of your nightmare.

The monster runs and charges towards Nyorin with intense speed while using both of it's blade to slice fast from every direction.

Nyorin blocks every attack barely and I knew I had to do something before something bad happens.

I asked Laura to stay and keep Regerz safe, she told me that it would not be safe to fight while just been recently healed.

Ignoring her words I walked between two pillar and pulled out knifes and started throwing with precision towards the monster.

You already know I was bad at aiming and so managed to hit at my third shot on its back causing some violet blood to ooze out.

The monster noticed my appearance and charged towards me.

As the creature enters between the pillars with high speed, it was sliced into many pieces from the iron wires strongly firmed melded with the marble and invisible without very close inspection.

I had a grin as I see the head rolling in the ground and other of the monster parts where sliced finely as if it was some sort of entrails you usually find in a meat market.

The creature was trying to speak but was silenced by my burning sword.

My whole body was dyed with violet blood from the aftermath of the slicing.

Nyorin looked at me with a surprised face as I was basically covered with violet goop.

She was shocked on how this cheap trap/trick worked on the monster and I replied with a of course as they don't use logic.

My ring sucked the soul of the creature and glowed slightly red until it reverts back to normal.

Nyorin than hugged me and was having some tears as she thought she will lose me.

The other members of the group joined us as well, I fist bump Regrez who was limping slightly and asked Laura if she is hurt anywhere.

Laura looked at me and ask

"I'm not hurt but I'm more concerned about you as you're wound was just recently patched" - Laura

"Don't worry I'm fine" - Me

"But why did you risk... your life in order to protect someone who owes you more than her life like me...." - Laura

"Because it's you simply as I kind of grew attached to you" - Me

Laura had a dumbfounded face and slowly turned pink

"!!!" - Laura

I'M REALLY SLEEPY BUT MANAGED TO MAKE THIS CHAPTER!
