Saladin's POV

Well today is the day where we would travel and head to the dungeon which I asked for one from the receptionist.

I prepared everything except the only thing remaining is that I have to give the money to the inn keeper so that my mother can stay as long as she wants ( maximum 2 years).

My mother asked if she could help by joining but I refused as I don't want her to suffer anymore than she already did.

Laura and Nyorin were tagging along even though I didn't want them to do so as they might be harmed.

In the few days, I have been trying to communicate with the devil voice Vearli, but there was no luck as I don't know what she is doing.

My mind has been having an ache from having one thing that I forgot and that is Kioni's body.

Her body must be rotten by now from all the months has passed..., and I have been thinking if I manage to revive her, would she be happy with her decapitated rotten body?

I have a lot of questions to ask to Vearli but she never appeared since long time ago.

Though I still don't understand what is the cause of her constant slumber.

Enough about that.

The dungeon were partaking is a tier 'E' one and is not so far from our town...

Just a couple weeks trip to there is what the receptionist said.

I have everything needed with me as I have my full stock of throwing knives, wires, and vials of paralysis poison and vinegar.

There was another thing that I did before we leave and that was talking with the hobgoblin who helped as back.

Regerv the hobgoblin was no where to see, but I heard from the receptionist that Regerv left a message saying that he will be returning to his hometown.

I was pretty sure that he told me that he was doing something important... but I didn't press forwards with the thinking.

The tailor shop was the next thing I need to visit as to get the spare clothes that are needed for our adventures.

Nyorin and Laura were waiting for me in front of the city gate.

I was mostly prepared as I have everything needed for the travel and didn't forget everything.

My mother gave me a farewell as I pass by the inn where she was in.

If you didn't know, Laura was given also a book so that she can learn aura mending in her travels which was from her teacher.

Laura was given a black colored with flower pattern robe which was utterly beautiful but was a little to big for her.

I met up with the girls who gladly greeted me while smiling and asking if we should head out now.

There was no other thing to reply except saying 'of course' to their question.

But I had that feeling that we are being followed, though I just think that my hallucination is getting worser from what happed with that assassin girl named 'Sherah'.

The land we passed through were wide open grass meadows with a nice warm heated sun while being surrounded with white fluffed clouds.

Small hills, pine trees, animals, birds and all sorts of things were seen while we walk through the cobble pathway.

I was carrying most of the luggage, but was not heavy as compared to the black great sword in the past.

Laura was skipping while her cat patterned hand bag was swaying back and forth.

It seemed like Laura likes traveling with companions as I can tell from her whistling of the same tune that she always does.

Nyorin was really close to me as she tries to lean towards my shoulder while walking.

The personality of Nyorin who is trying to be flirt with me is really adorable unlike the first time I met her.

Though she still acts stubborn sometimes.

Nyorin loves wearing that set of armor as every time we go some where to battle, she wears that.

Food will no be a problem as I can skin, gut and cook any animal or creature I see.

Though the problem is the water supply but I found out that, as long as Laura has aura she can make ice which can turn to water.

Fire is not a problem as I can turn any sort of stick to fire by just using enchanting.

Sleeping areas are prepared as I'm carrying inside my bag three soft blanket type that can be good to sleep in.

In this past week with Laura, I noticed that she seemed to open more to us and started smiling while laughing much more often.

If people where to see us, It would look like we are siblings due to our black hair but would think other wise after looking at our eye colors.

At lunch, I would hunt for animals that would be good to eat.

When I get sufficient amount of animals, I would skin their fur and gut their innards out while cleaning them at the same time.

I made sure that Nyorin doesn't see me gut out a animal as it would be a bad sight from a girl who was mostly raised as a noble.

After I cleaned the carcass, I chopped it into fine pieces while leaving the bones for medical purposes which I learned from a survival book.

Marinating the meat was easy as I had vinegar and the spices/herbs.

Then after marinating, I cooked them until they are golden brown while seasoning it with different kinds of finely chopped chili.

The meal was delicious was what Nyorin and Laura said to me, but as I'm a typical semi chef, I would always think that my food is horrible.

Bathing was not a problem as Laura could make a mini pond from melting her ice while also making the water very warm.

Sleeping was done with us laying down the soft sheets of blankets in the grass and sleep in them.

Though Laura and Nyorin would eventually come to me at the middle of the night while starts to cuddle me as if it became a custom to them.

Sherah's POV

It seems like that boy with my princess sister is about to travel somewhere as I spy over him.

I told the princess on what I witnessed.

She said that I would need to prepare for travel as we are going to follow them.

I did as she said and prepared what things needed for our travel.

There was another person with us and that was the first guard of the princess called 'Quinx'.

Personally I'm not very fond of that type of person as he is the type of guy who looks at the princess as seems she is a bag of cash.

I know one day, he will try harming the princess and so I hope I'm sufficient enough to beat him.

Everything was ready as I have the things for traveling set.

We followed the group which consist of one man and two woman.

It was kind of weird as it seemed like the sister of the princess seemed to be happy with him while the other girl with short black hair is also cheerful.

No matter how much i look at that man with purple eyes, I could always have a familiar vibe to him.

The following is going smoothly as we are undetectable from us being very far apart.

It has been a total of three weeks since we started tailing the group.

In this past three weeks I have been thinking on how that man is able to hunt as good as I do.

Right now, we are having a problem and that is the lack of water.

Our bodies including me, Yurnixa (Princess), Quinx were completely dehydrated and were about to fall at any given moment.

Quinx was the first one who fall down then my princess afterwards me.

We were all exhausted while being thirsty at the same time.

It was my fault for not preparing water enough for our group.

I was facing the sky as my eyes close slowly.

There was a strong sense of death which made me fear as I don't know who will take care of my mother...

Before I could fully close my eyes, I saw a shadowy figure with clear purple eyes.

I knew from those eyes that it's the man who destroyed me as I attempted to kill him.

Well I didn't know why he let me alive before, but I think now he will not give me second chance.

My closed completely and strayed away from my consciousness.

I woke up, and got up from what seemed to be the grass ground.

I noticed that there was a camp fire in front of me while my princess was sitting down a trunk while looking a bit nervous.

The group that we were following were in front of our eyes, and was looking at my princess carefully.

Yurnixa's sister then said

"Umm older sister?, what were you doing being dehydrated not so far behind us?"

"W-we were heading our way back... to our hometown..." - Yurnixa

Then the black short haired girl said

"She seems... to be lying from what I can see in her aura..."

My princess tensed up and then said

"N-n-no!" - Yurnixa

The purpled eye boy or man then said

"Well I can just say that you were fallowing us in order to save your sister from my clutches is what you assumed?"

He just guessed it correctly....

He did notice my face and so I can't help but feel stupid as to why I bought that cheap type of mask for if it was not, he could not have tell if I was the assassin, except for my hair...

Quinx got up and was looking around with a dumbfounded face.

Then my princess who was completely shocked at what the purple eyed boy said.

"Since you're Nyorin's sister, I can't do any attempt on harming both of you while also I was forced to help you from your dehydrated state" - purple eyed man

His eyes were lifeless while being serious and I could not help but feel shiver through my spine.

My princess then said

"B-but you are imprisoning Nyorin..." - Yurnixa

Nyorin ( Yurnixa sister) then said

"I'm not being help captive by Saladin as I really like and fond of him" - Nyorin

'like?, well that summed up on their part...' - My thoughts

My princess was flabbergasted and then said

"L-l-like?, you don't mean the love like?" - Yurnixa

'This is like a boring drama story written in a shit cliche book...' - My thoughts

"Yes sister, I love him and if you try hurting him again, I don't care if we are sisters, I would find you and butcher you to pieces" - Nyorin

I noticed that the boy with purple eyes named Saladin was sighing on what he is listening in grief.

"Understood..." - Yurnixa

'Sometimes I wonder who is truly the older sister... for crying out loud, Yurnixa and Nyorin age difference is around 4-5' - My thoughts

"It's okay sister, as I might have done the same thing" - Nyorin

'This type of gooey sister bonding is making my ears bleed...' - My thoughts

Then I noticed that Quinx ran with haste and gone behind my princess with a nice near her throat.

I was going to pull out my sword but was stopped from what Quinx said

"This bullshit and crap bonding is making me go nuts, I'm done with waiting until I can capture this princess and sell her for high bidder in a slave auction" - Quinx

'I should have became more aware that he would strike now..., but I got to give him credit for stopping this irritating conversation' - My thoughts

Nyorin looked like someone who is about to shred anything in her way as she is about to draw out what seemed to be two of her swords.

Her eyes were golden yellow while I can hear her teeth gritting in her mouth.

The short black haired girl was looking agitated as to what happened.

Saladin was not doing anything but watching with a face as if he wants to sleep from his yawning.

'He really doesn't give a fuck on what is happening?!' - My thoughts

Nyorin then said

"Release her and maybe I'll spare your life" - Nyorin

'That's a very not used line in any book I read... yeah right' - My thoughts

"Why the fuck are you saying women!, do you expect me to release her without getting anything in return!?" - Quinx

I could have sworn that Saladin chuckled from hearing that.

My princess Yurnixa was crying while asking to release her.

"Noisy bitch!, shut your damn mouth!" - Quinx

Quinx was holding her tightly, as I can hear the pain go out of the princess mouth which made me angry.

Saladin stood up from the ground then said

"Laura, finish him" - Saladin

A ice spear came lunging out of the black haired girl named Laura which flew at incredible speed and pierced the head of Quinx from going threw what seemed to be the eyeball.

Blood was gushing out from Quinx's eye wish dyed Yurnixa in red blood.

I was shocked on how fast that magic was casted and especially with no chanting.

Quinx was dead while laying in the ground as blood oozes out from both side of his head.

Author's notes: "I may have killed him to early and too quick..."

Then I heard Saladin saying

"It's too bad that you killed him quickly, I really wanted to kill him and have his soul..." - Saladin

'What the hell is that guy?, god of death version two?' - My thoughts

Yurnixa was having a expression of first time witnessing someones death.

Well, i can't blame her as you can't see anything like this back in the castle.

Nyorin came hugging Yurnixa while confirming that she is in no harm.

'What is up with this goody crap?' - My thoughts

Though I rarely show my expression except when in thoughts, I was making a relief look in my face as I watch Yurnixa cry while hugging Nyorin tightly.

I know what is going to happen next, and that is the greeting between them and me...

So I pulled out my sword and pointed it towards Saladin while saying

"Don't you dare become chummy with me, or I'll be placing your head in a javelin while hurling it towards the sea" - Me

Saladin rose one of if his eye brow then he said

"Bitch?, do you think I will sue my precious time to fuck around with you?" - Saladin

'To tell the truth, I was not expecting that to come out from a boy around fifteen...' - My thoughts

I just glared at him then averted towards the girl named Laura who seemed to be trying to say something

She then said to me

"Don't you remember me?, I was the girl who you helped back in the tailor..."

when I get a closer look to her, I knew it was girl that I helped back then.

then I said

"Sorry, but I'm bad with remembering people faces" - Me

The face I made since I awoken was of a lady with a 'I don't give a fuck poker face'.

I sheathed back mys word into the sheath and decided to sit down on the tree trunk once again.

The way I was sitting was of my left leg resting on the hip of my right leg.

I didn't know how did this all happened but I didn't care much.

It's a short one but I managed to publish this chapter as due to my lack of free time.
