Okay, enough of me being emo due to my exams and let's get to the point and that is thank you for picking out this chapter!

I was acting like that at the starts due to how the Exams will rape me..

Kioni's POV

I saw her and that was Sherah who opened the door which of Saladin's room while having a sad face.

My tears kept on dripping from the thought of them being together while I stand outside almost the entire time ever since Sherah entered Saladin's room.

You can say I'm a bit overboard when it comes to someone else might be ending up with Saladin which I can safely say that I'm abnormal...

Though I couldn't have thought that she would return with a sullen look.

She looked at me with a surprised look as if she didn't expect me to be here the whole time..

I always thought that there was something going on between both of them but I guess.. I was wrong.

Sherah ignored me and clenched her teeth as she passes by me and enters our room.

Saladin appeared before his door and looked at Sherah before she could enter our room with an irritated look then closed his room.

I was now confused and didn't know what to do as I stand between both closed room while my tears started dripping down.

The chandelier which is made of iron was on top of me which illuminated the place slightly.

When I saw Sherah entered Saladin's room before, I had an ache in my heart which caused me to cry as to the thought of Saladin loving someone else and forgetting about me...

There was no use anymore as to how I succumb into this jealousy state due to how I've been waiting for Saladin to remember me at least once again.

I might be acting to dramatic towards this situation but if you were in my place who has no one else that you know except Saladin then probably you would do the same thing but I guess you would be saying that you wont.

There was no point to stand here anymore and so I decided to go back to mine and Sherah's room and sleep.

Once I opened the door, I saw Sherah on her bed having a frustrated look while one tear goes down her right eye.

It also looked like she was not in the mood to talk and so I just went and laid down on my bed and let my sleep get the better of me but this time it's for real.

Saladin's POV

What's up with Sherah?

That bitch is acting wimpy after how she threated me the whole time!

There was no fucking way I'm going to go friendly towards her again.

Though I couldn't ignore someone who is crying even if it is Sherah.

Even though I tried helping her, she just didn't want me to do so.

I kind of scared her by the way I have spoken to her...

There was something in me that changed even though Sherah didn't do anything except teasing ever since I saved her from getting raped.

My way of communicating has been much more stressed out than usual...

Then when I least expected, a familiar voice came speaking to me

"This could be a problem as you are changing" - ???

When I looked, I saw the hooded person that always appear every time out of nowhere sitting beside the window while munching on a apple.

I was kind of shocked as to how did he/she managed to enter my room without me noticing.

He/she then looked at my surprised face than started giggling and removes his/her hood which revealed a lady around 22's with a short fiery maroon hair.

The thing that caught my attention was the medium sized four horn growing on her her head which bend towards the back instead of forwards.

Eyes of the color crimson red while having a very light brown tanned skin which was close to peach.

Her face was the optimal appearance of a matured woman while having the structure to.

She continued biting the apple with her teeth which has two fangs on them.

After she finished with biting the apple, she then told me to guess her name while making a grin on her mouth which made me think hard.

Then there came an answer to my head and I said to her...

"Are you by possibility... my lost sister?!" - Me

She than looked at me for a good amount of time until her face shows anger and came towards me while I try back away but was caught.

Slapped, punched, poked in both of my eyes was done by her to me by getting wrong on who she was ...

While she was doing that, she told me while shouting a little loud so that I can hear it

"You don't know who I am even though I gave lots of hints before!?" - ???

Then I was agonizing while laughing at the same time from her face being too cute while she is frustrated.

I then told her

"...I know, I know, enough with the hurt-ing, your Vearli!" - Me

She then stopped beating me and then backed away from me while cleaning the dust from her clothes as she was holding me down on the ground with her body.

Vearli was looking at me with a glowering look while also being ferocious at the same time.

I then apologized to her while bowing which made her sigh and told me to raise my head which I did while smiling.

She then told me what is up with the smiling and so I replied to her

"It has been a while since we have a proper conversation" - Me

I made sure I wasn't showing any of my sarcastic expression.

Vearli than made a 'hmf' noise and closed her eyes while facing the ceiling which made me scratch the back of my head while waiting for her response.

After a while she then started talking and then told me that she wouldn't be using her materialized form for useless stuff and so she get to the point of her visit here.

She then told me that my humane is slowly getting sucked by the ring and if I don't do something I'll turn to a mindless zombie who doesn't know anything but go berserk to everything I see...

I was kind of scared due to the reason of me knowing that I'm changing gradually and I really don't want that...

Vearli then told me the only way to prevent this is to practice an old demon training which consist of me ripping my soul into two and joining them back again.

The way she said it was really out of the ordinary... as she was smiling while looking like a child that knows the answer which no one knows but her.

I tried talking on why should I rip my soul but my mouth has been sealed by her hand covering my lips, she then came close to me and told that it will only hurt once while it will be painful like something that you can only experience in hell.

When she uncovered my mouth I then told her that on what is the use of the ring and can I take it out as I already fulfilled my goal.

She then looked at me with a sullen look and told me that the only way to take it out is when I'm dead.

Then I asked another question which was the wilting flower pattern on my hand.

Vearli replied by saying that this is a gift to mortals who get the power of demon which is me.

Continued speaking she did as she tells me on how I can use the ring on my hand properly.

Well basically I got the gist of it.

I can trade souls for power but cannot revive anyone anymore as it was only a one time use.

Vearli came close to me which flushed my cheeks from the look on her... *ahem melons.

She then raised my hand which had the ring and made a close inspection on it while having a surprised look in her eyes.

I then told her on what is the problem which made her eyes avert towards me then told

"It seems like you run out souls, but you still have one more soul and that was your friend called Oli" - Vearli

When she mentioned that I had Oli in my ring, it made me completely confused as to why was she in it and I didn't recall being close to her.

I then remembered the two rules to capture souls into my ring and that was killing, or a soul that didn't leave this world yet.

Though it still was confusing as to why does she knew that I had the power to suck souls due to how there was no showing of it capturing during the dungeon as non of them had one except for the boss.

I then asked Vearli if she can tell me on what Oli was saying but she replied by saying that Oli is not responding at all while looking at me with a happy face.

It was kind of weird as to why is she smiling at me...

I then changed the subject and told her why is the dark great sword takes some sort of toll every time I pull it out the ring.

She then replied by saying that it doesn't actually have any sort of serious problems, just that it depletes your energy faster than usual.

After she said that, I was in deep thoughts from what she said.

There was no use for me to idle around and so I decided to serve Vearli some food which I made not so long ago, this made her look at me with a disbelieved face while it clearly says that she doesn't believe that I made this.

Vearli then sat down on my bed and was eating with a delighted look.

I have been thinking if she didn't appear in my brain before, I would be dead by now.

When she was finished eating, Vearli told me if I remember anything about Kioni which made me confused as I don't recall knowing her at all, or should I...

My face was giving a distressed look which made her sigh and told me that there is a huge con when reviving.

I remained silent and waited for her to say something.

She then said

"When reviving, your memories of the one you're trying to revive will disappear completely making you think that it is your first time meeting but in reality it is different" - Vearli

While she said that, she was observing and looking my room.

I don't really get what she is saying, but if the things she said was true then that means Kioni was someone I knew.

The moment I try remembering about her, I got a serious headache which made me fall to my knees.

Vearlibend her body while putting bot her hands in her back then told me to not try remembering as it may harm me a lot.

She got up from the bed and was patting away the crumbs of food from her cloak and then told me that she is going to take her leave.

Before she could exit through the window of the room, Vearli got something to give me before she leaves.

Vearli gave me a rod and then told me to use this as a training material while following a routine of swinging it everyday due to how it can help me carry the black great sword.

I got up from the floor and when I grabbed it from her, I could feel the immense weight residing in it which made me tremble while trying to keep myself from succumbing to the ground.

When she saw me struggling to carry it, Vearli gave me a smile while telling me good luck in a sadistic tune.

There was many questions I had to ask her but it looks like I have to save it for another time...

I place the rod on the floor and decided to take a sleep but before that I had something to do which was bugging me for some time now.

If you didn't know already, my hair grew long enough that the front bangs are reaching my mouth.

I entered the bathroom and took out the dagger of the person that I killed for the first time which was the bandit leader back in the mines and sliced away the hair that I didn't need which then gave me the look of my former self back in the mines but this time I decided to leave some long bangs in front of my face.

When Vearli told me that i was losing my humanity then I could actually agree with her..., as I couldn't feel anything when I kill people.

Then I took a nice bath and gargled my mouth with mint and water while cleaning it with a small toothpick.

After I'm done with the bathroom, I changed to my sleeping attire and gone to sleep on my bed.

I was watching the dark ceiling while my eyes closes slowly and eventually I lull myself to sleep by remembering the tune that Laura always plays while humming.

This feeling seems familiar, when I looked around I was in a white place where everything is gone except the floor which is white while sky also being white at the same time.

When I looked around I saw the girl who has the same purple eyes as I remembered from my previous dream.

She looked at me while smiling and then asked me a question which kind of made me confused entirely.

The girl then greets me and I greet her back while having an awkward face as to what is happening.

"So I take that you are dating Oli by now which you ask her out not so long ago?" - Her

My eyebrows went slightly upwards and then I replied to her

"Dating?, she is already dead" - Me

When I said she was dead, this made her face have a sullen look while looking downwards and muttering 'Impossible..' in a hush voice.

I then continued my words by saying

"Was she... supposed to be someone special to me?" - Me

She then looked at me and then replied by saing

"Oli was supposed to be your only wife... though you broke the 'only wife' rule later on.." - Her

This really made me surprised and much more confused than ever.

I asked her to explain me on how I met Oli as I'm curious due to how the only time I met her was near the dungeon

She took a deep breath then told

"I don't know what happened in this dimension, but in the one that I knew, you met her when you escaped the mines. She was alone, while her best friend and cousin died by the creature which you killed which I think you know and that was Nugraix. Eventually you fell in love with her which she replied her feelings back towards you, accepting your love and eventually you became one of the famous duo that consisted of your martial skills and her magic. You married later and had two children, I can't tell everything as it might break some laws which can cause disaster"

I was speechless as to what to say, not only did I married her, it was also different as to how I should meet Nyorin instead of Oli in that dimension or whatever she is saying.

This type of though caused my heart to feel pain and I thought I was hallucinating as I can see Oli but this time it looks like her older version looking at me with a happy smile.

I then noticed that I'm not the only one that can see Oli and from that fact I knew she was real.

She then came close to me which made me stand still in place as I watch her place her lips on mine while I can see tears go down her eyes.

Oli's body then slowly started turning to dust from her feet while going through her whole body upwards.

She then looked at the purple eyed girl and told her to comeback before dinner which made the girl fall down to her knees while crying loudly.

It was weird as I could feel like I knew her for decades, but doesn't seem to recall...

Her body completely disappeared and afterwards, I came closer to the purple eyed girl and asked if Oli was her mother while I'm her father which caused her to head shake indicating a no.

She then told me that she is the daughter of a woman that I'm not supposed to know...

Though the reason why she liked Oli was because of her being threated like a precious daughter to her.

The purple eyed girl stood up and then told me that it is time for my leave while she rubs away the tears in her eyes.

if it was true that she is my daughter, than I will do something to her which my parents never did to me and that is hugging her.

This made her shocked for a good moment but quickly her expression turned to a happy one while tears flow once again from her eyes.

She then told me

"Thank you, it has been a long time since you cared about me... and even though I might not exist on this dimension, just remember my name... and that is Alice" - Alice

When I was about to reply, I noticed that I woke up which made me get up and look around the room while sighing at the same time.

I have been thinking about what events just took place when I was dreaming or something else.

Slowly I have been wondering on what purpose did Alice came to tell me those specifics

Then I remembered about Oli which still pains my heart from the thought of her being my wife in another dimension and is now killed in this dimension....

I stood up from my bed and looked at the rod which Vearli gave me.

Well I guess I better try out the rod....

Sherah's POV

I woke up and I felt woozy than ever.

Yesterday drama had hit me like a stampeding bull, and it has been a while since I cried...

Well it looks like Saladin just made me hate him even more than ever.

When I looked for Kioni, she was not there on her bed which could mean that she is in the bathroom.

I looked at the mirror on the closet which showed the red bags under my eyes, don't ask why I got those...

My bed hair was really fluffy while mess at the same time.

There was one thing that was making me curious and that was the noise of something coming from the window of the room

When I looked through the window, I saw Saladin swing a rod which was tainted gold and was struggling which made me chuckle as to how he is struggling with something like that.

I changed my clothes and combed my hair while placing my hair clip on it.

Then I gone downstairs and was heading towards Saladin for a good reason, and that was me going to humiliate him.

I saw him swinging while blood comes out his mouth which made me though on how weak he can be.

Then I came close to him and so he noticed my presence and gave a gesture to him asking if I can lend the rod while I smirk.

Saladin made a quick grin and gave it to me which I grabbed onto it and when he let go of it, I felt the weight was too intense which made me shiver all the way through my body and drop the rod while breathing loudly.

'The fuck is up with this rod!?, I can't fucking believe that he is able to swing this thing?!' - My thoughts

Afterwards, Saladin grabbed the rod on the ground but was struggling slightly and told me that I couldn't possibly carry this.

He then continued swinging it while it looks like his iris was getting duller every time he swings.

My hands was still hurting from the rod scraping the skin on my palms.

I noticed that Saladin was going to faint..., and was going to get hurt from the rod until I pushed him and instead of him getting hurt, I did...

I had no clue why my body moved without me thinking...

He was shocked on what I did as I scream in agony from the pain of the rod his my back very hard.

I can feel that some of my bones got destroyed by the weight of the rod.

My consciousness slowly was fading but before I could completely succumb, I noticed that Saladin carried my body and was running as fast as possible.

There was nothing that doesn't pain in my body while some tears flow down my eyes from the pain.

Though the feeling of Saladin's back caused me to relax a bit and eventually my consciousness has faded completely.

*******************

My eyes opened once again and when I looked around I knew that this was the room of Saladin.

I looked around and saw Kioni sitting on a chair while having a distressed look on her.

She then noticed that I have awoken and then tears started coming out from her eyes and she started hugging me.

My body was covered in wraps and was feeling okay as if the pain just vanished though it hurts a bit when I move but is still better than before.

I then told Kioni who moved away from me that what happened while I was out.

She then replied telling that I was carried by Saladin who was having a desperate look while he searches for the highest tier healing scroll to find.

Saladin even had to beg for a scroll as it was scarce in this town.

He then brought me here and healed me by using the scroll which was hard to do as it was a difficult level scroll.

Kioni told me that he purchased a scroll which could heal any wound in the body with all his money.

'I didn't know he would go that far...' - my thoughts

I get up and asked where is Saladin which she replied by telling me that he is outside the room.

As I limp out of the room, I noticed that Saladin was there leaning beside the wall as if he was waiting the whole time.

He then noticed my presence and opened his eyes.

Saladin then came walking towards me and placed both of his hands on my shoulder and then said

"What were you thinking!" - Saladin saying in a loud voice

My face was still showing no emotion at all as I watch Saladin's angry face look at me very carefully.

Saladin then said

"Do you want me to experience that feeling again from someone protecting me! and is hurt in return!" - Saladin

His eyes were getting watery as he slowly goes down to his knees.

I didn't know also why did I save him from harm or even death as I really loathed him.

He then told me

"I rather die then feel this agony again..." - Saladin

There was nothing I can say to this person as not I saved his life, my life has been spared also from him purchasing the healing scroll.

Oh how funny life is, the person you hate the most is the person who saves you the most.

The thought of me dieing hit me again and I started crying also..

If I had died without saving my mother from the disease then I don't think I can leave this world...

Saladin then pulled himself up and this time he was crying for real and asked me while he desperately tries to stand up.

"Why did you save me!" - Saladin

I was pissed but crying at the same time while I grab his collar then told him with my voice which I rarely use

"I don't know!, it's just that... my body moved by it self" - Me

Kioni was watching us and didn't know what to do but stand idly with a sullen look.

'It's funny because my instincts never occur when it came to me saving a person except for Saladin...' - My thoughts

Me and Saladin were hitting each other while having no power in those strikes as if we were a couple that was fighting but sill cared for each other.

'Couple.., yeah right!' - My thoughts
