《Eternal Teacher》Chapter 14 The Three Men

“Excuse me but I'm looking for a man named Conall?” said the man in the middle
The man looked like the average person with a set of spectacles resting on his nose.Dressed in a white robe that seemed to be the norm for the three he wore a pendant that had the appearance of a tree growing from a rock. With his hood up it was hard to see any of his features besides his glass and a short beard that came out of the hood.
“My name is Conall, may i ask who are you?”The innkeeper said
“Oh where are my manners I am Monk Jehanson and these are my companions.” saying that the Monk motioned to the those on his left and right
“We have come in regards to a letter you sent to the city of Fort Frased about a new arrival to the town.”
Think for a second Conall remembered and turn towards me and said “I forgot about that letter you see Mora when someone adopts or move into a new village it is the duty of the district to officially record the action.”
“Quite so it is important to keep a strict record ever since the Hero Caesar brought this idea to our kingdom we have had a very control over the local population.” Jehanson said while stroking his beard
*wait did he say Caesar? like Julius Caesar?*
*The Julius Caesar you are thinking of is correct many other “travelers” have come to this world before you and Caesar brought the census and brick roads with him over 200 years ago*
As i thought this the monk walked up to me
“I know that in the letter you said it was someone we won’t believe to live in our kingdom but a Giant is incredible may i know your name sir?”

“Mora.. Therris ..” i said
“Hmm an name composed of earth and life interesting may i ask where you came from? these are all questions we ask when people desire citizenship”
At this i decided to follow the story i lad with the shadow
“North…. Mountains…..Barren...Needed...Food”
At this the monk eyes widened “I see loss of habitat and no food would cause someone of your size to look for better places to live will have to tell the north border to watch out for large mobs doing the same as you i suppose”
At this one of the other men in white took out a piece of paper and a feather and started to write that down as memo.
“Now i understand that one of the fairy race is in your care now my i see her.” he said with a smile
At this i looked to Conall and he nodded.Calling Camellia oer he looked at her and asked if i was treating her right and if i was doing well here.Nervously she answered and said she liked me and the villagers. With his questions done for her he turned to me.
“Now that we know you are not threat, don’t take this personally but we need you and your daughter to come to Fort Frased so we can finish the paper work, also i need to ask about the shadow and what it wanted.”
As we all explained to the three men about what had happened the monk turned pale
“I will need you to come with us immediately Mora im sorry if it troubles you but if that shadow works for who i think it does , you're in a much bigger problem then i think you are ready for.”
As the monk said this the other men in white went to the village and started to chant. “They will place a protective barrier around this town to keep the shadow out but we will need to stationa monk here for safety once we get to Fort Frased i'll call for one to come here”

At this the monk entered the inn “We will leave in the morning please be ready by then”
-In the Golins Nest-
The shadow was squirming in the hut of Ziotic
“Dammit i was close i could feel it but that dam monk showed up” With those words he destroyed the wall leading out to the rest of the cave.
Hearing this Snarl came over “What is the matter master?”
With those words ringing in his ear the shadow seemed to snap
“Whats wrong? WHATS WRONG?!?!, I have been searching for my master for over 500 years and the moment i get close something always get in the way!”
Grabbing Snarl by the neck
“I have served countless demons all in the hopes of finding the master that was taken from me and my kind!”
Squeezing Snarl’s neck more
“After the last Demon King died 100 years ago i finally found a lead at this continent and the moment it's in my grasp it slips through my fingers!”
Throwing Snarl against the wall the shadow seemed to calm down.
“That's it i'll call in a favor from the youngin that was born recently with his help my master will walk the world again!
