《My Fantastic World Of Magic》Some Crazy Friends

There was a crunch sound, and Jave fell to the ground, unconcious. Norbert and Athena looked at him, then at Jave.
Damen scratched his head.
"I might have put a bit more force than necessary, behnd that punch."
Athena coughed.
"We gotta hurry up and go. The Bue Pearl guards are pissed off, and they're... right here. Hey there, pissed off Blue Pearl guards."
The two spun around, to see a dozen men in blue and white armor, holding spears in their hands. One of the guards wore darker armor, and held in his hands a halberd.
He sneered.
"You filthy adventurers, think you can take whatever you want. Hand over the fish, and I promise to only break a few bones."
Damen flipped him off.
"First of all, not yours, second of all, we've already used it."
The fish they had used in the potion was a very rare and expensive alchemy ingreadient. And it so happened, that a couple people had caught wind of it.
The man sneered again.
"As if, you think I-"
"You filthy merchants, think you can take whatever you want." Athena said, imitating the man.
She took out a pouch and threw at him. The man caught it. It exploded into white dust. He coughed, breathing it in. So did the other guards. However, the Frost Men, were well prepared. They took an antidote for the hallucinogen agent when Athena began to speak.
And so they guards now had very silly expressions on their faces, like a goofy smile, or a childish frown. The hallucinogen was designed to send them through time, back to their childhoods.
The group then unceremoniously knocked the guards out, pausing to loot them of their precious items. That halberd, especially, according to Damen, was almost worth the potion they made. Almost.

They picked up Jave, who had a silly grin on his face, and proceeded to leave the building to go to Damen's estate. They forgot to untie the healer, who was muttering...
"No... Mama nooo... I didn't..." Or something of the sort.
They then tossed an [Oblivon] potion into the Clinic. An alchemist was very useful.
Norbert broke into laughter.
Athena and Damen looked at him with strange expressions.
"I'd never have imagined that someday, that we would casually throwing [Oblivion] potions and [Young Times] dust bags like they were ordinary, everyday use items. Hell, I'd never have imagined that we'd haave brought down an entire house!" He explained.
Athena grinned, while Damen chuckled.
"It's a small, crazy world." Damen said.
"Yes, it is." Said Jave, who just woke and was clutching his nose.
With a crunching noise, he set it straight, and groaned.
"What the hell was that for?"
"For making us go through all sorts of trouble only to find you sitting in a bathhouse, my bathhouse, surrounded by servants."
They arrived at his manor. They let him in. The Lady was out for a meeting. She would be back in two hours, until then they had the entire house to themselves.
Jave's eyes widened in understanding, and surprise, and embarassment. He smacked his forehead.
"You mean... you actually went and collected all the ingreadiants?" He asked, still not quite believing it.
Damen nodded, a hint of anger and frustration evident on his face.
"You have no idea how much of a pain in the ass it was..."
Jave winced.
"I guess we have a lot to catch up about, huh?"

How the Stars Turned Red
Announcement as of 05 July 2022: I've been diagnosed with some pretty severe nerve damage in my left arm, rendering me unable to write effectively, and as such this story is on hold until it is healed. I am so sorry, and I promise to get back to writing as soon as possible. In the latter half of the 3rd millennium CE, humanity has spread across the stars, inhabiting close to five-hundred worlds across the Orion Arm. Earth has become irrelevant, a historical has-been. The galactic map is dominated by two mega-factions, both controlling vast amounts of territories either through direct control or through their many allies and treaty signatories. The Kingdom of Aurora is the political and economic hegemon despite consisting of only seven inhabited worlds; their strength lies in the Royal Union, an interstellar commonwealth composing an internal market and a common defence pact. These member worlds are myriad and varied, culturally as well as politically, but they all flock to the same banner. The Independent Systems Alliance, spearheaded by the Republic of Elysium, is the ascendant challenger to Aurora and the Union. A pseudo-federal multi-system polity, the Alliance economy and military is rapidly expanding, but at the cost of effective democratic and meritocratic involvement by its people. However, with two superpowers as this, chafing along a common border, and with a constant clamour of polemics, both sides have become convinced the other is constantly preparing for war and are on the look-out for any perceived weakness in their opponent. The predictable result is a huge arms race and a cold war spreading across the stars, requiring only a spark to set the galaxy aflame. Drawn into this game of high stakes are ordinary men and women, their peaceful lives, hopes, and aspirations swallowed by the vortex of conflict and distrust. This is their story. Cover art by Rhodex Designs (FB). Hope you like long chapters and adjectives. Note: English is not my first language. Another story set in the same universe, written by a good friend

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.

The Devil's Bride
"I am not sleepy so why don't we tell each other a story?" Her voice was low and raspy and fuck, I'd been lying if I say I wasn't turned the fuck on. "Like what?" I ask swallowing my pride and probably my sense of direction. Her skin was on top of mine, in contact, burning. "I don't know." She says taking her time to adjust herself on my lap. I had to grip the chair for support feeling all my breath vanish from my lungs. "Maybe a short bio about yourself." She advocates placing one of her hands on my chest. I feel the contact through my shirt, my eyes trained on every movement of hers. The worst of it all was that she is unaware of what she was doing to me. "Uh-" I feel my words shorten. On impulse, I grab her by her waist for support instead. Leaning back painfully on the single chair. "You're so cute when you're confused!" She giggles going ahead to move slightly on my lap. I blow out a groan feeling my erection harden.
