(This chapter isn't edited yet)
Edward is a person from Earth, but not from this Earth, but a place where there were movies like Avengers, Justice League, among many other different types of entertainment.
But Edward had been transported to this world through a multiverse rift in his previous world. As the Supreme Sorcerer, Ancient One sensed this anomaly immediately and found Edward who was lost in a desert in Brazil.
The two talked for several hours until they both understood what was going on.
The Ancient One understood that this boy had come from another multiverse, but it couldn't feel the coordinates of that multiverse to send him back.
And Edward understood that he was in the world of Marvel, but not in an ordinary world like the MCU he was used to watching in the movies, but rather apparently in a variation of that world.
As Edward had nowhere to stay and didn't know anyone, Ancient One took him to Kamar Taj two years ago. But as he was someone from another multiverse, to prevent any anomaly from happening when he came into contact with beings from this world, she kept Edward in seclusion from the other disciples.
Edward's magical talent was very good, in just 18 months he had attained the strength of a Master of the Mystic Arts. Something other Masters would normally take decades to achieve.
After a month, Ancient One performed tests and realized that Edward's interaction with the people of this world would not cause any harm to either side, so she let Edward get in touch with other people around the world through the Sling Ring while he wasn't training.
The relationship between the two was very good, but as Edward didn't know the people of Kamar Taj very well, he always kept to himself in a house that other disciples thought was abandoned.

So, since Edward arrived in this world, he never had contact with any of the other disciples, just focusing on training to get stronger.
If he'd just trained to satisfy his own ego of being strong, Edward probably would have given up a long time ago, but when Edward came from his previous world, in his mind there was a screen.
[System Creator]
[Power needed for activation: Sorcerer Supreme.]
In Edward's previous world, he had already read several stories where the protagonist had Systems, so he knew very well how powerful this would be for his development.
That's why Edward trained so hard to achieve the strength of the Sorcerer Supreme.
Today Edward finally caught up. He arrived in this world 3 years ago, in 18 months he attained the strength of Master, and after another 18 months of practice he finally attained the strength of Sorcerer Supreme.
Excited to tell the Ancient One this, Edward directly opened a portal to the center of Kamar Taj so he wouldn't waste time walking.
Although Kamar Taj had a defensive system, for someone with the strength of a Sorcerer Supreme, that wasn't a big deal. So Edward only felt a slight resistance to opening the portal, but continued to inject magic so that the portal would open anyway.
But when he walked through the portal, Edward saw hundreds of disciples in battle postures looking at him with an astonished expression.
Not knowing what to say, Edward introduced himself. "Hello, I'm Edward Erickson."
Hearing his name, the expressions of the disciples and elders became even more shocked.
"Are you… are you Edward Erickson?!" Elder Garth said shocked as he looked at this young boy in front of him.
Elder Garth was controlling Kamar Taj's protection matrix personally, so he knew how monstrous the strength of whoever was trying to invade the monastery was. He even thought that a high-ranking demon was coming to destroy everything, but who would have thought that, in fact, the person with such strength was the disciple the Sorcerer Supreme wanted to take over as Kamar Taj's next Sorcerer Supreme?!

The only person who could have such a powerful force to break into Kamar Taj's protection matrix so easily would be the Sorcerer Supreme who just died, but now in front of him appeared a young man in his 20s who already had enough strength to do so. this?!
Edward was a little confused by this old man's question, as he had just said just that. But seeing that the man looked to be at least 90 years old, Edward was patient and responded. "Yes, I'm Edward Erickson. Where's the Sorcerer Supreme?" Edward asked.
Upon hearing what Edward said, the surprised expressions of the disciples and elders quickly changed to sadness.
Elder Garth replied "Unfortunately she died yesterday."
Hearing this Edward was shocked. From what he remembers, the Ancient One would still be a few years away from dying, at least in the MCU world where he watched the movies, but seeing this change, Edward had to accept that he really was in another multiverse.
Without hiding his sadness, Edward asked. "And what are you all doing together here? Is it to decide the next Sorcerer Supreme?"
Elder Garth did not hide this matter and answered. "Yes, the Sorcerer Supreme left a note before she died saying who would be Kamar Taj's next Sorcerer Supreme, but no one knew this person."
Hearing this, Edward responded. "Hmm, unfortunately I can't help with that. I've spent a few years in seclusion and I don't know anyone other than the Sorcerer Supreme."
Hearing Edward's response, Elder Garth understood that he didn't know that the person nominated to be the next Sorcerer Supreme was himself. With a small smile on his face, he explained.
"According to the Sorcerer Supreme's note, the disciple who will become the next Sorcerer Supreme is named Edward Erickson. And since there is no one else with that name in Kamar Taj, I believe that person is you." Elder Garth replied as he lowered his head to Edward.
The other elders of Kamar Taj also bowed their heads to this boy out of respect.
Initially they were suspicious of who this person was that the Sorcerer Supreme had nominated to be the next Sorcerer Supreme, but after feeling Edward's monstrous strength, they understood why the Sorcerer Supreme chose this young man and started to give the least respect to him. the boy.
Of course, this little display of power from Edward only convinced the Elders that he was more powerful than all of Kamar Taj's other disciples, but they still didn't know Edward's character and couldn't say for sure if they would accept this young man as the their leader.
As the elders bowed their heads to Edward, the disciples also bowed their heads in respect. But since they weren't in control of the Protection Matrix, they didn't feel Edward's true strength. While in their hearts, there was still doubt, jealousy and anger at this boy younger than all the other disciples who had suddenly become the next Sorcerer Supreme.
But when Edward received the title of Sorcerer Supreme from the elders, a message popped into Edward's mind.

The Complete Alchemyst book 1
You've heard of superheroes, seen them flying across the sky, destroying great swaths of cities and ending countless innocent lives in order to defeat great evils and world-spanning threats and sell lots of sponsorships and merchandising opportunities. This is a story about the guy that is not those heroes. A supervillain in a world where making the right friends and political contacts is what separates the good guys from the bad. The Alchemyst is a story about a normal guy in a crazy world that spends his time trying to follow his dreams and conscience, working on new potions, thinking about girls, and lifting heavy shit, while trying to stay under the radar of the superheroes, supervillains, and governments that want what he can do. And occasionally turning them into makeshift melee weapons. If you enjoy The Boys, the Aberrant roleplaying game, Mystery Men, Trashy romances, Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, or SAW you may enjoy this book. Please note that this book has extremely graphic and sometimes gross fight scenes, heroes as villains, villains as heroes, opinionated and often politically incorrect characters, some graphic sex scenes, dad jokes, dirty jokes, realistic depictions of romance and flirting, bondage and dominance themes, and more than a few cuss words when they are really appropriate. This is NOT a superhero genre deconstruction. Many heroes truly are heroes, and they don't all need to be destroyed to make a good story, but it does look into the dark side of superpowers and the unreasonable and often contradictory demands placed on exceptional people.
