《Abnormal》Chapter 31 fight

I stood in my spot, Eric reactivated his quirk.
Almost immediately, he fired his gun at me, I dodged them pretty easily and lunged my fist at him.
It hit something, someone, to be specific.
My fist got his jaws, sending him a few feet away from me.
Tough one, this time.
He cracked his neck and fired his guns at me recklessly.
The others watched, not daring to do anything.
I ducked, putting surged energy in my legs, ready for a rocket launch.
But then I stopped.
Uh oh, grenade launcher alert.
It fired at me, blasting me backwards, I landed on the ground, my hands scratching the surface of the ground, helping me balance myself.
I charged towards Eric, the smoke bothering my vision.
Launching myelf upwards, I saw Eric looking around himself, worried.
"I'm up here IDIOT! " I laughed, my foot landed on his shoulder.
He fell with a loud thump.
I'm pretty sure no one can see us in this kind of situation, smoke, dust, and dirt.
Eric grabbed my leg and pulled it.
I fell backwards and landed on my back.
He jumped up and stomped on my stomach, the injured part.
Blood shot out from my mouth.
I gritted my teeth, grabbed a random rock and threw it towards his head.
He groaned in pain, backing up, his hands on his forehead.
His head had a large cut, bleeding, the blood went in his eyes, he surrounded himself with guns as he tried to remove the blood from his eyes.
Spotting a blind spot of the guns, I winded up my fist, with no hesitation, I blitzed it right in the direction of Eric's stomach.
He yelled in pain, being sent out of the smokey area and onto a tree trunk, a thud echoed across the area before a snap was heard next.
I walked up to Eric, his shoulder was broken, his arms snapped.
Just when I was about to grab his shirt.

Something loaded behind me.
Oh shoot, I forgot about the guns.
A bullet fired at me, I rushed to my left, but I was too slow.
It hit my right shoulder and went through it, hitting the tree trunk in front of me.
I fell on the ground, my left hand clenching tightly on the laceration.
breathing deeply, Eric stood up from the ground and wobbled towards me.
I kicked backwards, away from Eric.
I let go of my wound and stood up.
"Wanna ...keep... fighting?" I said breathlessly.
Eric's quirk worn out from exhaustion.
I raised both my fists.
He gritted his teeth, his broken arm slowing him down.
"Stop."
I looked to my right, Liana stood in front of Eric, shielding him.
Feeling dizzy, I held my head with my bloodstained hand.
A green blur zoomed pass me.
"Thank you."
It was that Lila girl.
I forced out a smile.
Something dashed bythe side of my eyes, like a reflection or something.....
I had to close my left eye from the brightness, ignore that, I need to deal with real business.
Eric was injured badly, like me, but with broken bones.
Keith looked at both of us.
"What rank are you?" He asked.
I shaked my head.
"She's a cripple." Oliver said behind him.
Suddenly, Eric, who was behind Liana, fell.
Fainted from blood loss.
Liana shrieked, she backed away, her hands on her mouth.
"Oliver, T, can you two carry Eric to the hospital?" she said.
T and oliver looked at each other.
"We could try." Oliver said.
I walked towards Eric and swung him on my shoulder.
"Who's driving." I asked.
***************
"Yeah thanks...."
The doctor bandaged up the wound.
"Becareful next time miss..." She said caringly.
I gave her a warm smile.
Eric was on the bed next to mine, still unconscious.
Maybe I shouldn't have broke his arm, maybe then he could've had fist fighted with me.

I grabbed the cup of liquid the doctor gave me, it smelled awful, but I drank it either ways.
In the corner of my eye, Eric flinched.
He sat up all of a sudden, breathing deeply.
"You alright boy?" I asked.
He scowled, he activated his quirk and pointed the guns at me.
"I was the one that carried you here, you know? This is not a nice way to thank me." I said, finishing the cup.
Placing the cup on the table beside my bed, I shuffled to the edge and got off the bed.
Eric loaded the gun, the red dot pointing at my forehead.
"The doctor told you to drink this." I said, holding onto a cup full of redish liquid.
He didn't take it, he was still staring at me, alerted.
"Oh my GWAD! Relax dude, RELAX! I'm not gonna kill you !!!" I yelled, clearly annoyed.
I placed the drink on his table, "Drink this, it's not poison, no acid, safe to drink."
Eric shot me a look.
I clenched my hand, "You know what?! I'm just gonna go to sleep, drink that, just..just... Drink it."
I jumped onto the hospital bed and covered myself in my blanket.
Suddenly the door bursted open, " MIL---- what are you doing here? "
I peeked through my blanket, dark blue hair, blue eyes, hm... Sean!
He was glaring at Eric, Eric was glaring at him.
"Who hurt you that badly?" Sean asked.
"That's none of your business, cripple." Eric snarled.
The two just kept shooting each other looks.
The doctor came in, "Eric heart, your parents want to see you."
I flipped open my blanket, "Eric HEART?!"
Eric's face turned bright red, "SHUT UP! "
I laughed, rolling off the bed.
"Millie! " Sean saw me and rushed towards me.
"I never knew your last name is HEART! " I giggled.
Eric jumped down the bed.
"What's your last name then huh?" He said, gripping onto my collar with his one of his arm.
"Why do you care?" I said, slaping his hand away from me and pushing him backwards.
Sean looked curiously at me, "Yeah.., what is it? "
I facepalmed.
"You don't wanna know." I said.
"But I wanna know." Sean said childishly.
"Mmm, ok, Millie Archor." I said.
Eric froze, "Archor? A-R-C-H-O-R ?"
I nodded.
"I didn't know you meant that two who got dragged away by H.E.L ! " He exclaimed.
"Alice Archor and Daniel Archor, 2005, murdered at September 19th."
I closed my eyes and crossed my arm.
How much does this 'kid' know about me?
"Eric heart! Your parents are waiting outside! " The doctor repeated, louder this time.
"Call them in." Eric groaned.
Some seconds later, a woman in blond hair and a man in black hair walked in.
"Oh... Sweetie what happened ?! " The woman rushed up, giving Eric a kiss on the cheek.
"MOM!!!" Eric shouted, his face turning scarlet in embarrassment.
I held my laughter, I can tell Sean is trying to too.
The man walked up to Eric, he had a suit, and a serious face.
"Son, tell me, who did this to you, I'll have a good talk to their parents in person."
My shoulder sank, hmft, my parents here, my parents there, what is it with this week, all about my parents.
Eric turned his head and pointed at my direction.
The man, or Mr.Heart, should I say, walked up to me.
"Where are your parents, child?" He asked me.
"No where." I answered, sitting back on my bed.
Yeah, they sure are no where, not anywhere in this sickening place.
They're in somewhere 1000 times better.

YAOS 1 - Limitless Adventures - Yet Another OP Story Book 1
December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and at Amazon. December 30th 2018: V1.1.2 of YAOS Book 1 is out, some content additions, fixed typos. Amazon's enhanced typesetting now displays tables properly. YAOS is shown through the eyes of some genius athlete getting OP inside a VR, ah wait, Full Immersion game, ?F.I.O?. Not a Hero, not a Nerd, just a driven individual paying for mistakes made, biding time until he can return to the Real World. He isn't defined like you'd normally do it, you can pick his looks and name all on your own, just like you do in video games. Believe it or not, keeping his looks undefined is harder than you think. His backstory isn't expounded in detail, but it drives his choices. Book 1 isn't about depressing sob stories but about fun and rushing forward, pursuing new horizons. Oh, and you'll end on a cliffhanger! Well, most serials do, so you will probably expect that without being told explicitly. But it isn't that bad, there's a lot of reveals and more to come once this book, that is the first in a planned three-part series, is finally ready for release on amazon et al. The published version will have: 1.) Godawful speaker tags, I hate them, they make you stop thinking and speed up editing so much. In hindsight they should have been in to begin with. But I stand by my goals proclaimed earlier. You guys should think while reading, that is the whole point of the exercise. Apply the knowledge and ideas, improve yourself, get creative! 2.) Pretty colored tables, the damned blue boxes, a lot of work, 69 in one book. Finally fixed amazon's centering issue. Can't say I liked the hours needed to debug that. 3.) The promised Mitara chapters. 4.) A cover! 5.) And lastly, updated polished versions of several chapters. MC shares more of his past, some terrible chapters (esp. 32) finally work. Some new scenes, minor rewrites in parts. Text flow and other issues. The current challenge is to maintain essential ambiguity while satisfying people wanting to know more without thinking three steps ahead. Balancing one with the other is tough. The smut which was in remains, but the story told is not to be superseded by it. A 15+ rating for the first book is also important, not to mention, YAOS wasn't meant to contain any smut to begin with. If the Author can turn to writing full time his output should increase, so please support YAOS #1 once it does finally release. ~Thank You~ No maps so far, that should be in, but is really hard to get done right. Again, tips are appreciated. Update September 2017: Stubbed chapters, sorry guys, currently don't have time to upload them elsewhere, polishing book 1 and 2, writing 3, takes precedence. Book 1 is in heavy editing, too much to keep synced and continuing editing. I'd need a site which offers JS-free rapid managing of chapters and comments. Coding one myself or setting a premade up is out of scope until I'm done with the books. RRL-old offered that, nuff said. This is only here because the author believes in fairies, nobody reads this, most likely. October to December 2017: Life threw some curveballs. February 2018: Book 2 draft 1 completed, at ~150K words. Book 2 is fairly epic in scope, requires 1 rewritten chapter, some editing. Tables and miscellanea are in, but needs at least a grammar pass. March 2018: Book 3 at 28k words, first arc, rest needs serious planning for spin-off and satisfying conclusion. July 2018: Yet another proofing/editing session of books 1-3, 101+ chapters, ~300k words. B3 at 48k, starts out great, but no ETA, no wordcount limit, in flux. But prioritizing my writing cannot be done, I hate the delays as much as you, but you will prefer the whole released in a timely fashion rather than wait. Knowing myself how excruciating waiting can be, at least you'll get significantly polished versions and an ETA on book 2 by release of book 1. December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and in the process at Amazon et. al.. . To all who wait patiently, offered feedback, thanks again!
