As thunder crackled about and torrents of raindrops pounded the ground, she expressionlessly glance outside the window.
With both of her hands, she tried mimicking a certain person's smile.
Again and again and again and again and again and again.
Once more, she tried smiling in front of her full-body mirrorー that's not a smile. Her face is like a Noh mask, devoid of any emotions, feelings and even warmth...
"Ne, Chihaya.... When was the last time you felt 'alive'?"
Her words slices at Chihaya, like the sheer edge of a knife.
Chihaya clutch her head, as if her emotions turmoil.
Even walking to classroom, she could heard a voice murmur 'monster' all around, somewhere. Many eyes surround me.
"... Aya-chan.... Aya.... chan, Aya-chan...." She continued to clutch her head tightly as if to avoid her eyes looking outside. As her tears flowed out, Chihaya look at her disheveled hair and her rough voice in the mirror.
"... Pathetic." Her current appearance couldn't described as anything other than pathetic.
"Pathetic don't you think? The Chihaya I know is not this weak~ ★"
The person reflected in the mirror is a beautiful woman, her white arm continue clinging behind Chihaya.
"Late."
"Oh my~ That's no good Chihaya-chan~ I just saw you cry, to bring up that facade at this point is useless〜 "
The woman grinned like a cheshire cat,
"Then how about this Chihaya-chan, let's make a deal... How about you become my plaything and in return....
I'll teach you the passion of live... ❤"
Chihaya glared at her,
"Refuse, you came here with another reason."
"You're no fun... I can take your life anytime you know〜? Shouldn't you at least act scared〜?"
"... 'Scared' huh?"
"Well anyway, close your eyes~ It's your time already, let's not waste time〜"
.... And thus, just like thatー Chihaya Minamoto lost her life.

Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.

Gods Game
The Gods gathered together in a moment of clarity and created a world where people could battle, gain powers, and eventually enough power to kill them and take their place. After a millennium, they still have little success. Some of the combatants have died, others have given up and accepted their lives as they are, others turned their back on their original calling entirely, rebelled and have decided to wage war against this world and the reason they are there. So the gods keep scooping people up from the various worlds they've created in hopes of finding their death. They had gathered from six of the seven worlds they had available to them, now they have no choice but to gather combatants from the one world they swore they would leave alone: Earth. The world was dying and the people seemed hell bent on killing each other, rather than focusing on keeping their world alive so they could all live peacefully. Earth wasn't an ideal place to choose from, but the Gods had no choice. With new combatants gathered, each blessed with a gift from the Gods, they are set loose in the world of Taimin. The play ground for the replacement God candidates. However, this time, the combatants are unaware of their true purpose, so that maybe, they can accomplish the God's true goals. Another round of God creation has begun, but with secrets kept from them, and others hunting for their deaths, can they survive the first rounds, or will they perish because of the weaknesses they carry? NOTE: I do not own that cover, I googled fantasy wallpaper planets and I found that one. ^_^ Also, this story will slightly be fanfictiony as some weapons and elements may come videos, shows, and/or books.
