[Your Quest is changing]
[Story Quest: Defend the Village]
[Objective: Protect the Village]
[Comment: What are you reading this for, go kill the mobs]
[Reward: Will be based on contribution]
[Penalty: All player's of the village will lose 2 levels and their best equipment]
This quest was a shared quest. Players who were in Song Village also received the quest. This increased the morale of the players. They were ecstatic about getting a quest.
The people who didn't want to take part in the quest were forced to after finding out the penalties of failing the quest.
This was the first time Emile witnessed a penalty.
The player from Frosted Light and Dawn Breaker's would cry when they find out they missed the quest. They missed an opportunity to gain experience and items.
The quest to slay the wizard had transformed into defending the village. There was a high chance that the wizard would appear during this onslaught.
"Let's go, we need to get as many kills as we can," Emile yelled at his stunned group to awaken them.
They regained their composure and chased Emile.

System notifications blasted his eardrum.
After reaching the Grandmaster stage of Void-Steps, his techniques allowed him to increase his speed.
While running towards the outskirts of the village he checked the notifications he got during his state of enlightenment.

The game had blocked off the sounds of a notification. If the system didn't block the sound, then his enlightenment would have prematurely ended.
He made it into the forest where he saw hundreds of people attacking swarms of mobs. People got into conflict, they fought over who got the kill; it was chaotic.
Emile ran towards the front of the pack. He began to slay the mobs.
His party caught up to him and joined in. Their efficiency was much higher than before. Instead of them looking for the mobs, the mob now charged at them.
They began grinding the mobs.
There were waves of different mobs. It started with chickens which everyone could easily kill. It progressed to mice, then to boars. Then didn't have trouble until the level 6 killer bees came.
Other players were forced to team up with anyone to have a chance at gaining experience and items.
Emile's party had an easy time. The Killer bees were easily taken down by their coordinated attacks. Emile's experience bar was getting closer to level 5.
Flower Queen had leveled up to level 5. She was always ahead in experience.
The next mobs that showed up were the Compsognathus. The Thorny Bushes couldn't move so they never showed up.
The level 8 dinosaurs came first. The players grouped up even more. There were groups of 15 fighting one Compsognathus. (1)
There were fewer players to deal with the amount of Compsognathus. Some were getting killed off. Emile's party didn't have much trouble since they were much stronger than the average party.
Emile felt lively. He could dodge everything efficiently. He had never experienced this before.
He enjoyed fighting. This didn't stop him from noticing that other players were struggling. He needed to kill the mastermind behind all of this.

If they didn't kill the mastermind then they would get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of mobs.
He killed one last Compsognathus which was the last bit of experience he needed before it induced a level up.
[You have leveled up to level 5]
[You have five free attribute points]
He wore equipped all of his level 5 equipment.
His strength nearly broke through 80.
Agility was at 60.
He decided to put 2 points into Vitality. He also decided to put the remaining 3 points into Spirit.
His HP was at an even 600. The familiarity buff increased his health up to 690.
Emile was a tank.
Spirit allowed him to deal more damage when using his fireball.
He could easily kill all five chief-ranked monsters if they appeared in front of him.
Emile felt that he was ready to go for the big boss.
"Do you guys want to fight the wizard dude," Emile asked his party.
"We can't; look around you, do you see how people are struggling with these mobs, if we leave them they will be annihilated, we are the ones killing the most mobs. You can go take down the boss. You can probably kill the boss easily. I believe in you," Flower Queen said as she pointed towards the other players.
The other players were struggling to defend themselves. If not for a lucky player who somehow had a healing spell, there would be a lot more people dying.
Their party was in a crucial position. If they left this position things might go dire. Thye didn't want to risk a wipeout and gain the ire of other players.
"Also, you're the only one that could pass all the mobs without breaking a sweat," She continued as she killed off a Compsognathus.
"Alright, I can do this," Emile was feeling slightly nervous since he didn't know how strong the wizard would be.
He used his Void-Steps to avoid all of the mobs. The Compsognathus would rush towards him. Emile effortlessly avoided all of the attacks. He continued to get closer to the back of the army.
As he kept moving through the forest he saw someone giving out orders. They were commanding the mobs to attack the village.
The person noticed Emile.
"Kill him," He pointed at Emile as he gave out an order.
Instantly all of the dinosaurs in a small area turned towards Emile and attacked him. Emile couldn't continue to move forward. He could dodge everything but he couldn't move forward.
He used Speed Up which was a skill he got from one of his level 5 equipment.
It increased his speed by 200% for 10 seconds.
Emile used this speed to flank all of the mobs. He ran around the enemies and went behind their line.
He ran towards the person and identified them.
Wizard of Control
Great Chief Ranked Monster
Level 10
Hp: 15086/15086
Atk: 23-45
MAtk: 161-252
Agility: 43
Skills: {Beast Manipulation} {White Star} {Flash} {Berserk}
Weakness: He can't cast another spell after the first spell for 5 seconds
This was the first enemy that was of Great Chief rank.
The attack was much lower than even chief-ranked monsters. But it's magic attack was exceptionally high.
Its Agility was also high. This was the first time Emile saw a mob have over 2 skills.
Beast Manipulation was obvious as to what it did. It would control beasts to attack him. White Star and Blink were unknown skills. He had seen Berserk before.
This fight would be challenging.
