《Sanctity of Blood》Chapter 01 : Blood Reincarnation

In some dark alley in the city of Montreal.
A being, whose elongated fangs were deep inside the neck of a scantily dressed woman, was, unbeknownst to him, having his last meal.
At the entrance of the alley stood a smiling man. Under the full moon, the man's smile was even more evil than it was supposed to be. He retrieved a weird pistol from a hidden pocket inside his thick black coat and then entered the alley, eager to meet his prey.
"Hello Count Drake! How is your last meal in this world treating you?" The man in the black coat brandished his pistol in the direction of the head of the vampire that was still feeding.
The vampire red eyes narrowed but it couldn't be seen through his thick sunglasses. He was obviously mad at being interrupted during his meal. As he recognized the voice of the man speaking ill of him, he sighed and his expression showed some mild fatigue just for thinking about it.
This wasn't the first time the vampire had heard that annoying voice. It was exactly the eleventh time, all in the span of five years.
The Mad Hunter was the man called. With more than twenty Elder Vampires killed and consumed. With each kill his lycan bloodline grew closer to the source. No Lycan had reached as far as he did.
"My last meal you say? Change the tune will ya! You always say the same thing only to end up empty handed. This is the eleventh time already. Surely, we should both be able to end this masquerade once and for all." Said the vampire as he threw away the woman's cold body.
"Does that mean that you're open to seeing yourself being killed by me?" The Mad Hunter said.

"Who knows...when you guys first discovered that you could become stronger by consuming us, you couldn't act as my father deterred you from doing so. It was only when my father disappeared that you guys seemed to gain confidence and nearly annihilated us. Every low level vampire was consumed leaving only Elder Vampires whose source blood came from my father.... And then you came along... You succeeded in consuming your first Elder Vampire not long after you became a Lycan. A miracle. After that, you hunted them all down, leaving only me. Now you've become a monster among monsters. I doubt I could beat you. My only chance is to flee, but I'm tired of that...and there's no need to second guess yourself, because I can guarantee you that my father will not seek vengeance for me." Said count Drake trying to sound convincing.
The Mad Hunter then said, " Since you're making it easy for me, suit yourself." He was about to shoot count Drake when he heard, "No need to waste a bullet and attract unwanted attention, you can just devour me whole, I won't resist."
The Mad Hunter then let the pistol drop on the ground and then proceeded to undress himself.
Once he was fully naked, he dropped on all fours and then grunted as red hair started growing everywhere on his body. Crackling bones could be heard as they grew in height and morphed.
Soon a five meter tall red Wolf could be seen towering in the alley.
The wolf then ate count Drake in one gulp.
As the last vestiges of count Drake's blood and flesh were being digested and the Mad Hunter was transcending his current form, a weak yet vigorous murmur could be heard, " I'm sorry Mad Hunter but this is your end. You see, when my father and I fled to this world, we thought we would be the only supernatural creatures...and since this world was unsuitable for cultivation, we were bound to be leaving it soon...let's just say that your sacrifice wouldn't have been in vain...the reason I waited for you to kill all the Elder Vampires was so I could harvest your Lycan bloodline and make it mine in my next life. A bloodline that relies on devouring my own bloodline to become stronger has unlimited potential in my opinion...so thanks and goodbye."

"Blood Magic : Blood Reincarnation."
"I sincerely hope that the next world is suitable for cultivation since I can't choose the destination with 'Blood Reincarnation'. And I also hope they are not abject to the existence of Blood Magic.
As the Blood Magic was cast, a fusion between the Lycan bloodline and Elder Vampire Bloodline took effect. The new source blood then fused with Drake's soul waiting for reincarnation.

Tower of Somnus
When humanity first encountered alien life, we were judged and found wanting. The Galactic Consensus interviewed our leaders and subjected us to a battery of psychological tests to determine our progress as a society. They found us to be selfish, wasteful, impulsive, and boorish neighbors. Earth was blockaded and our collective encounter with our extrasolar neighbors rapidly faded from memory. All they left behind was a hypercomm relay and a handful of subscriptions to a massively multiplayer game that participants played in their sleep. The Consensus said that it would let us interact with our neighbors in a controlled setting. That it would teach us to be better members of the galactic community. The megacorporations that controlled Earth ignored the game until they learned that the powers earned from clearing dungeons were just as real when day broke. Magic, supernatural abilities and rumors exploded from nothing and a subscription to The Tower of Somnus became a status symbol. Katherine ‘Kat’ Debs doesn’t have much, but it could be worse. Born in an arcology, she was assigned a job in the megacorporation that raised her almost as soon as she could work. Despite the stability of her corporate life, she wanted something more. A chance to claw her way up the rigid social and financial ladder to make something of herself. A chance that wouldn’t come naturally to someone as familiar with dark alleyways and the glint of steel as she was with office work and corporate niceties.Book One is up on Kindle Unlimited as of 7/6/22 - https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B0B2X3L8H5

Transformers: Heroes
Heroic Decepticons Alternate Universe. A century ago, the eons-old war between the Autobots and the Decepticons suddenly and inexplicably came to an end. Since then, many have gone their separate ways, whilst others still hold onto the bitter memories of war. Now, as Autobots and Neutrals join forces in a new directive to capture every Decepticon still left alive, it appears that the Autobots will finally get their chance to even the score, and defeat their enemies once and for all. But when they become the target of seemingly random, yet terrifying attacks, some begin to realize that the enemy may be much closer to home than anyone could have ever imagined. Author's Notes: While it helps to have a little bit of prior knowledge about the world of Transformers, you don't need to be a Transformers fan to enjoy this story, or even a Decepticons fan! One thing I can say for sure is that it is unlike any Transformers fan fiction you've ever come across. This story aims to explore one possible set of motivations in depth in a setting of ongoing conflict between the Autobots (and, more recently, the Alliance - a collaboration between Autobots and Neutrals) and the Decepticons. Although this story takes a lot of things from the G1 cartoon, it is by no means strictly G1 toon oriented and introduces characters and/or ideas from other continuities (Sentinel Prime, Jhiaxus, Thunderblast and Rook (not the Autobot Rook - the other Rook!). Set primarily on Cybertron and Alternity City, it also deviates from certain key elements common in Transformers canon. For one thing, the general consensus that all Autobots are good and all Decepticons are bad is challenged, and a new meaning to the motivations behind their conflict is offered (which is a recurring theme in my Heroic Decepticons Alternate Universes). Some personalities have been altered from their canonical profiles as a necessity (Megatron being the most obvious example) and developed to a much deeper level than the original cartoon allowed. I hope you enjoy and thanks for reading.
