Nekana was a girl that could be easily categorized as ‘normal’. Her presence was a faint one. In a crowd, she was the type of person that could be seen once and forgotten the next second. Like a wisp of smoke, borne of flame that dissipates through the air unnoticed, unconcerned and most mysteriously; beautifully.

Describing her appearance was fairly easy. With flowing brunette hair, fairly big dark brown eyes and a slightly long but blunt nose, her lips had not a bewitching pink nor red as they too were ordinary. Just plain ‘lip colour’ whatever that was. Her skin was tan as a result of school’s outdoor activities but she was nonetheless originally fair to start with.

She was your typical bookworm, carrying at least one book wherever she went. She liked manga and was fairly familiar with anime as well. Her current interest faced online web novels; she’d wait for weekly or daily translation updates as time passes.

Music was a broad topic, she was the type that shared many genres with the exceptions of the songs she didn’t like. Ranging from classical to foreign music (take k-pop for example) to vocaloid.

She had an Instagram account and a tumblr one as well but they were for the sole purpose of the fandoms and ships within. Instagram kept her (fangirl?) time occupied, tumblr for the blue and deep; its waters were rough and she was a participating pirate of several ships. The girl would think that she wasn’t that deep in, yet.

She had friends that held similar interest as her so all is well.

She had not a leader’s charisma but was still rather good at leading through needed times.

She had not the best of appearance but was still charming in her own way nonetheless.

She had flaws that were known all round but was still accepted and not contradicted.

A ‘socially ideal’ environment. Nekana appreciated this.
