Chapter 3
When night comes and I have to retreat back into the tree, I have made a pretty nicely sized wall between two trees. I don't think it would stop a bear or something, but I will stop the wolves. I wait without sleeping, and I can already hear the wolves coming. Their brother is hanging from a branch, not twenty feet away, maybe I should throw a stone at it if I had a stone.
I've gotten better at this trap laying thing, and both the wolves got hit by my traps! Booyah! I get my bow ready, but I don't fire it. I need to wait until I know they can't more or they're going to die eventually. I have to conserve arrows no matter what. Dang, I just thought about putting the dead wolf in my inventory. Shit, I've been putting the bow in and out of my inventory, I should have thought of that!
The two wolves stagger up and limp into the forest, leaving a trail of blood. I take a look at my wall and the last remaining traps, and I head to sleep. Sleep is still relaxing after all.
In the morning, I add the wolf to my inventory.
>**Inventory**
>Wooden Bow
>Wooden Arrow x9
>Wooden Arrow, Used
>Dead Wolf, Toothless
I guess that all is reasonable. I've got another day to prepare for nightfall, so I gather all kinds of rocks and sticks and add them to my inventory. From what I can tell, there is no limit to how much my inventory can hold, which is nice. I place most of the smaller and larger sticks in the wall, adding another tree distance to it, but keep the throwable sticks and rocks in my inventory. I reset all the traps with rocks and sharper sticks, but I keep the area with my wall clear of traps. I want to see if the wolves can break it.

At night, I climb back into my tree and start something new, making fire. I remember watching an episode of Survival Sissy or something where the guy uses a bowstring to make... DAMMIT! I've been needing string this whole time, and I've had some on my bow! I can repurpose my bow and arrows to make better traps!
However, do I really want to destroy my bow... damn, I don't. Anyways, back to making fire. I put a stick inside the bowstring after loopdy loopdy-ing the thing and then I move it really fast against a rock. Something like that. I try it a few times, but I don't manage to make anything close to a flame, or smoke, or fire. I guess it is really cold here.
I wait for the wolves to arrive, but it never happens. When the sun comes up, I am safe from the wolves all night. I spend the day making more traps and collecting more sticks and stones. I could explore, but I really want to kill those wolves before I leave my area of safety. If something were to happen and I couldn't get back to a certainly safe place quickly, I would be dead. I need to do everything I can to ensure that doesn't happen.
The night, the wolves came back.

I Need Time
An action, adventure, mystery and strategy story about a strong male lead. Author note: First time author, good amount of buffer chapters (over 50k words) so I will not drop this book anytime soon. This book will mostly be from the perspective of the MC. On average +5k words will be published per week. I have not chosen some of the genres and tags as I do not wish to give away parts of the story. I added the content warning tags as there will come a time for profanities, gore and maybe "traumatising" content. Though, in my opinion the content will be mild if not light. *****SPOILER*****SPOILER***** Synopsis: A college ICT student transmigrates to another world filled with magic and learns magic from a dragon. MC uses modern knowledge to develop magitech technology. MC starts his adventure using the technology he develops! Saving princesses, fighting hidden criminal organizations, learning how horribly medieval peasants live, reasoning with uneducated narrow minded people, investigating the nature of magic and searching for gods... Story review: A fantasy/sci-fi story filled with some common cliches yet presents somewhat original ideas and a few unexpected twists & turns here and there. This novel also explores a few of the commonly ignored topics concerning medieval fantasy like hygiene, culture, education(ignorance, narrow mindedness) and the fact that everybody is short because magical crops cost too much. Modern knowledge in such a setting can often times revolutionize the world if the protagonist is not an idiot or weak willed or thinks something stupid like he should not intervene in a society that systematically practices unequality of opportunity, slavery and other nasty things, of course sometimes the protagonist can be just unlucky by being enslaved, etc. In our case we are granted a protagonist who had an initial stroke of luck, learning magic from a dragon instead of struggling for years without it or randomly dieing. After that his luck goes down the drain. It is arguable whether the princess is a good stroke of luck or not, I digress. Anyway the challenges the protagonist must face will grow and no more luck or helping hands. After gaining enough power and security the protagonist will change the world for the better or at least give it a stronge push onto the right track. He will make a lot of lives better but things are never so simple and there is much more to this world than meets the eye... Missing genres & tags: Fantasy, Sci-fi, Magic. *****SPOILER*****SPOILER*****

The Wild Touch
The world of Delmathar has many conflicts and plots that span over the whole world and even into the war torn oceans. That’s not even taking into account that the world is a candidate in the Realm wars… but that’s a story for another day. Instead we will follow the story of how a goddess’s botched attempt of using a weak earth soul to make powerful Grafter for her mother, ends up empowering an unsuspecting little boy. The boy who is called Nosal Brownwhisker, who happens to be a peaceful little buttonless-shirt loving little Capyban. And as the Brownwhisker family tries to juggle their everyday lives on their monster ranch and hiding little Nosal’s secret, more and more developments keep popping up in the village of Pancreedy that makes life more.. interesting. Author’s notes:This is my first fiction and I understand it will suck. Hopefully you will find it to be enjoyable enough to hang around. There’s not going to be any epic world-ending fights or any stuff like that, just some shenanigans generally with the story progressing very slowly as it changes from many viewpoints. The world of Delmathar may seem funky for now so I will promise a glossary every 15 chapters. The wild touch will be updated at least twice a week, with me having no backlog of chapters. So if I get mobbed at work or get sick I will let you know in my notes on a short chapter. I hope you enjoy, and thank you for the people who support me, give me encouragement and pointers.
