Chapter 15
The inn offered breakfast and dinner since I didn't really care what I had for breakfast I decided to eat here. The mess hall was almost empty, but I saw Cal and Fraya eating together near the back.
Falon:"Hey can I join you."
Cal:"Of course big brother."
Cal pulled out the chair next to her and I set down in it. Fraya hadn't said much to me since she found out who I was which made me feel a little sad. A man came up to us and asked me what I wanted. I ordered bread and porridge.
Falon:"We finally have a little peace for the first time since the attack on Gart so I want to know what happened with you two while I wasn't around."
Cal:"What happened to you. Explain that first."
Falon:"That seems fair. I'll talk first. When I turned fifteen apparently my soul was kicked out of my body and I was reincarnated into another world. I lived an entire life time there before dieing and reincarnating here. My parents from this life died and I went to Tessa's orphanage and used magic to forcefully age my body."
Cal:"Wait did that not have any bad side effects to your health?"
Falon:"I'm fine. My health is better than ever. Anyway the orphanage was attacked and we fled to Haven were we met Ruby and a friend who traveled with us to Gart where we showed up at Vaneth Academy."
Cal:"That felt like you left out a lot of things."
Falon:"Well maybe one or two details. Any questions?"
Fraya:"Are you really Keltor?"
I looked at Fraya and she had her head down as she said that.
Falon:"I.........was Keltor, but not anymore. That name belongs to the Demon King now."
Cal:"How about you take your last name back and become Falon Thron."
Falon:"I'll think about it. So tell me about you two."
Cal:"Not much happened while you were gone. I kept training got stronger and went to Vaneth, but since Fraya has brown hair she couldn't get it. I had them make her my personal maid."
Fraya seemed kind of distant so I wanted to do something.
Falon:"So Fraya was Vaneth Academy interesting to you."
Fraya:"I liked it. I was glad I didn't have to stay at home."
Falon:"Hey how about we get the two of you new clothes today since you didn't get a chance to pack before we left Vaneth."

Cal:"Sure! That sounds like fun I'll go get Tessa and Ruby!"
Cal jumped up from the table and ran off. I was left alone with Fraya. We had all finished our meals, but we stayed here to talk.
Falon:"Is something wrong Fraya. It feels like something is bothering you."
Fraya:"It's just that............I barely remember Keltor and now here you are, the brother that Cal loved so much."
Falon:"If it's easier for you, think of me as Falon. I may have the memories, but I'm no longer Keltor."
Fraya:"Is it alright if I see you only as Falon?"
Falon:"I would actually prefer that."
Fraya looked a little happier. Ruby, Tessa and Cal entered the room and came up to us.
Cal:"I got them so let's go!"
She looked excited so I smiled at her. We all left for the textile district to find clothes. I bought a bunch of new clothes at the first store, but the girls wanted to look at a few more before they decided what to buy.
They all mostly bought clothes that were comfortable and you could fight in, but we also had to stop at a dress shop. I wore a gray coat with matching pants with black boots and hooded cloak. I had a belt that held my throwing knives and I also lined my coat with them.
The girls all had on the same basic outfit with different colors. They wore tight pants and shirt that showed their curves with boots, chest armor and bracers. The pants were all black, but Cal wore a red shirt, Ruby wore a blue shirt, Tessa wore gray to match me and Fraya wore green. The armor was all silver and they all had swords. Tessa and Fraya had short swords since they weren't very good with them, but it was better that they had weapons.
Ruby and Cal had swords on each side and they all had a black hooded cloak like me. I put all the spare clothes into my satchel including the one dress they each got. Luckily I had created a lot money before I lost my magic which I kept in my satchel.
Tessa:"I feel so much better in new clothes!"
All the girls had smiles on their faces as we went back to the inn. Night came and since we weren't called for a meeting the dwarves mustn't of contacted us. I decided to go out for a walk around the city alone.
During my walk I found the red light district and was stopped while passing through.

Woman:"Hey glasses guy come talk to me."
I turned to the voice and saw a very attractive brown haired woman. Her hair reached her shoulders and she had a large bust and she appeared to be around 25. She had on a simple brown dress.
Falon:"Me?"
Woman:"Yeah you."
She waved me over.
Woman:"Hi I'm Helen."
Falon:"My name is Falon it's a pleasure to meet such a beautiful young woman."
She had a look of delight on her face.
Helen:"Hey no need to flatter me. Do you know what part of town your in."
Falon:"Of course."
Helen:"Then you can probably guess what this is about."
Falon:"Yes I'm sure I do."
Helen:"Then lets head back to your place."
Falon:"I'm sorry but I was just passing through."
She took my right hand with both of hers.
Helen:"Come on you'll enjoy it."
Falon:"I'm sure I would. I'll pay you if you'd like, but I don't need your company tonight."
I pulled out money from my satchel and handed it over to her.
Helen:"Wow I don't have to do anything. What a kind man you are."
She took the money and curtsied.
Helen:"Thank you for your generosity Mr Falon."
Falon:"It's fine. I have to go now goodbye."
Helen:"I hope I see you around here again Mr Falon. If you ever feel cold at night I would gladly warm you up."
She winked at me and showed a bright smile.
Falon:"If I do feel a chill I'll come find you."
I smiled back and left the red light district. I returned to the inn and went to bed. I didn't have to worry about getting cold since Tessa would be sneaking in.
Tessa didn't wake me up last night so I wasn't sure if she actually came. I had breakfast with the girls and Leon showed up to tell us that we had received word from the dwarves and the elves.
We all followed Leon to the meeting and found Isaac, Wesson, and Gaz there already with an elf man. He had long green hair and long pointy ears. I thought he looked pretty for a boy.
Gaz:"Now that everyone is here lets begin with the elves."
Elf boy:"We have decided to assist with reclaiming Gart. We will send troops and supplies. We all have a natural nature affinity so few mages will be sent."
Leon:"That's fine whatever we can get will help. What about the dwarves?"
Gaz:"They too have decided to help and offer us many special made weapons. They will also send troops, but want one of there men to be apart of the strategy meetings as a general."
Leon:"His insight could help in the coming battles so we will except it. Any word from the beastmen?"
Gaz:"No they are the farthest from us so it will take a little longer."
Leon:"Very well Gaz contact the dwarves and except their deal and send a message back to the elves thanking them for the support."
Gaz:"Very well."
Isaac:"What about the hero summons."
Leon:"Yes send a message to the beastmen and elves asking if they will perform a summons. Gaz ask the dwarves when you contact them."
Gaz:"Yes sir."
Falon:"Are we going to summon a hero too."
Leon:"Yes we have decided to, but it will take all of the mages we have and put them out of commission for a few days. We won't be able to try this again until next year."
*I wonder what kind of hero we will get.*
Leon:"That concludes our meeting for today so everyone get to work and lets reclaim our capital."
We all left and I was talking to the girls about what the hero might be like as we went back to the inn.
I went out that night and ended up back in the red light district.
Helen:"Mr Falon. Your back did you miss me."
I saw a happy expression on her face.
Falon:"Yes I very much did."
I said with a smirk.
Helen:"So would you like my company tonight?"
Falon:"I would love your company."
I held out my arm and she wrapped both of hers around it. We started walking across town.
Helen:"So what are you doing out at this time of night?"
Falon:"Walking around and looking at the city."
Helen:"What are you looking for?"
Falon:"I'm not looking for anything."
Helen:"We're all looking for something. I'm looking for my Prince Charming."
Falon:"I'm sure you'll find him."
Helen:"I probably won't but it doesn't hurt to look."
Falon:"Any man would be lucky to get a beautiful woman like you."
Helen:"No I'm just yesterday's news."
She said with a sigh.
Falon:"You'll find someone I'm sure."
Helen:"If you say so."
She said with a smile. We continued to talk for a while then I brought her back to where I picked her up and gave her some money which she readily accepted. I returned to the inn and slept in my room. Tessa woke me up this time, but I still didn't catch her enter or leave.Back to Main Page

Can he regain his own body, and would he still want to when all is said and done? [The Story] What this story is: A LitRPG, portal-like, slow-moving story with a protagonist who has to balance crafting and 'magic' to survive. The books have a pre-thought-out plot and finish. Also, the world is harsh, and things don't always go the MC's way. What it is not: A drama, romance, grimdark, although these elements might appear. I've had some feedback that the intro seems to set up a very rough life for the MC. There is a reason for this, and I hope you give it a try beyond the first few chapters. Do note, this is not an unreasonably harsh novel.
