Today is the day. The day that many children of the different clans and families have been waiting for. The awakening Ceremony.

This Ceremony is used to stimulate the youths of the clans so they may awaken. Even without an awakening ceremony its possible for kids to awaken such as the awakening of the child of Tu May and Malcolm who after awakening had already been saturated by 2%. However, if he had been able to awaken during the awakening ceremony there is a high a chance that he may have surpassed that and reach at least 4% at his initial awakening.

The more saturated your body is before cultivation the better as there will be less obstacles and less time spent on getting your body to adapted to mana. This may increase the rate of mana absorption and help the increase in mana absorption hence helping his practice in the elemental body realm.

The ceremony is conducted by the Five Great clans. The Array formation was done by 6th Tier official Array master that was jointly invited and payed for by the Five great clans.

The awakening Ceremony is done by using the blood of a magical beast that was at the level of Tu Zhang which was 9th stage Initiate and a Mystique beast of the same level. The difference between a Mystique beast and a magical beast is that a Mystique beast is a Ferocious beast that opened its intelligence then was blessed by the heavens with a mystic way, this mystic way is different from magic as it uses the beasts body and blood that has been saturated by mana as fuel or a way to activate it. An easier way to tell them apart is the dark patterns on the Mystique beast. While a magical beast is normally born a magical beast and has the inherent ability to communicate with mana and cast magic, they also have a talent ability that they were born with. Ferocious beast on the other hand ae just beast that have great physical strength and no spiritual wisdom.

The five clans also add different natural treasures of all elements to the array set up on the lake inb blood moon square.

Today Tu Zhang has left early in the morning to ask for a spot for Shura. However, after the alchemist Demrin seemed to deem him unfit for any sort of magical practice.

Watching Tu Zhang leave Shura then went on his bed and closed his eyes.

In Shura’s spiritual space he looked up at the starry sky that was no longer seem to be just stars. If one looks closer you would notice that these stars are runes and they seem to be arranged in some special way, if you look at it longer you may just see some of these runes seem to compose chains that stretch out towards all around.

This is what he has noticed during these six years these stars seem to be restrictions placed on him , just touching them seem to resonate with every fiber of his being causing much discomfort.

He remembered the first time he touched this array what happened.

When he touched the restrictions a projection of the figure of a man and woman whose appearance couldn’t be seen appeared

“Shura our dearest child does not be alarmed this restriction was placed on you because of certain reasons pertaining your bloodline. Other than you there have never been a case such as ours where Two top tier clans of different races and origin have come together this has caused your existence itself to be unstable. We were planning to find a way to fix this problem but circumstances have not allowed for us to find a solution, we can only hope that suppressing and sealing your body would somewhat help.”

Shura felt depressed just thinking of this, but he knew two things the strength his body has is attributed to his family background and that The Awakening Ceremony might be a chance to see if any changes might happen.

After all the formal issues were done the issue of whom to allow to go to this times awakening ceremony was discussed. Tu Zhang then took the chance to ask for a spot for Shura. It was then that the voices of dissatisfaction echoed.

The first to show dissatisfaction was a hoary headed elder. He was the second elder his name was Tu Fane, he was also dissatisfied with Tu Zhang because the deceased wife of Tu Zhang was his sister and he always felt that her death was Tu Zhangs fault.

With a wrinkled brow Tu Zhang asked “Why not.”

“When have you ever heard of a family investing so much in a servant, you know what I think?... I think that the story of how you found that kid was fake and its actually an illegitimate child of yours” Tu Fane shouted.

After that it was an all-out curse session between the two elders.
