The first one to go up was a young girl wearing a black Tunic with the Shen clan emblem on it, she stepped on the slim walkway towards the center altar, it could be seen that this girl is slightly nervous but her will is firm as she never faltered on the way across.

She was directed by a man that seemed to be assisting the old man to the center of the altar, the assistant then drew back by walking across the lake to an open space in the square.

The Array master then clasped his raised hands as his purple eyes seemed to stare at the altar the young girl was on, well informed people knew that he was monitoring the array formation.

With flashing lights runes began to float out from the formation laid on the altar then two small whirlpools appeared on the left and right side of the girl from on the lake. If one was up in the air you would see a big formation diagram just ten feet above the surface of the lake and above, it was many flashing lights which were the treasures provided.

As the whirlpool turned a small waterspout appeared on each of them, then as if guided by some mysterious force they went straight for the girl as their tips were turned against her as if two lances.

Silence

Just before reaching her body they stopped in front of a wall composed of many runes, then a drop at a time the liquid began to secrete into the wall then go straight for the girl and then it burst turning into mist that was then absorbed by the girl with every breath she took.

Throughout this process the girl seemed nervous but didn’t freak out, as it seems she was prepared.

After a while she started trembling as her closed eyes opened wide.

Then a bright light came from the center of her chest, the light enveloped her, from the light one could see the shadow of a book.

At this point the assistants made some gestures and then some tapped the air while others tapped the ground, a multi colored light then rose from the sides of the altar blocking the view of those from the outside.

Of course this cannot completely hide from the eyes of the Patriarchs at the Core realm if they really tried, but this would have revealed and showed by the barrier, this would cause the other Patriarchs to gang up on the culprit hence no one will do that.

The shadow of that book was her life tome every human awakens their tome during their awakening, this is their blessing that has helped this weak race to stand firm in the nine realms.

It is multipurpose but its greater use is to help the mortal humans to cultivate into something more.

Normally most magicians under the truth seeking realm would not take their tomes out in front of others easily unless they needed it to do a large spell that may strain them or at life or death moments as they are frail before being baptized from the laws. Destroying someone’s tome could in a lucky situation cripple them causing physical damage or making them lose all power they had and in most cases it directly kills them.

These are the things that Shura has learned over the years from books he got from Tu Zhang as he wasn’t allowed to go into the Tu family’s library.

The girl weakly sat onto the altar only to be led by the array master’s assistant back to her family. Later she would probably be assessed so they could know what elements she aligns with and what’s her talents, or if there is anything special.

After Two hours eighteen children had already went up, of the eighteen seven didn’t awaken after twenty minutes, they were then taken from the altar a received some kind words from their elders, but everyone knows that they will be treated differently in their respective organizations.

Then a young girl came out from the Tu clan’s que ready to go towards the altar, this girl is none other than Tut Tsuki. While watching Tut suki about to go forward though Tu Zhang saw something, He saw a small smile on the Shen Patriarchs lips, although it retracted quickly it was still seen by him.

Feeling something wrong he decided to tell his brother, but what happened next shocked him.

“Shura go , stay back Tu tsuki “

Ehen Tu Zhang heard his brother’s words he was going to say something to stop him, but then Two elders already escorted Shura over with speed, as it seems they were told by the patriarch to escort him before Tu Zhang reacted.

It was already too late Tu Zhangs brief hesitation allowed them to carry Shura next to the walkway with the assistant with the assistant.

Watching this scene Shen Motan was slightly caught off guard, as the preparations were already set to go off in the next awakening.

What he set up was a surge that would cause large amounts of mana and energy from the materials of the ceremony to not go in amounts at which would kill someone that isn’t awakened or isn’t at the novice realm. It was his plan to kill Tut suki with it then he and the assistant he bribed would say it was all an accident caused by the formation.

But he never thought that these preparations would be done on a boy he didn’t even pay attention to.

Going onto the altar. Shura then takes a look around seeing Tu Zhang’s worried face and Tu tsukis

Confusion.

Shura then took back his vision and focused on the formation under his feet because it was starting,

The light then began to cover Shura.

Currently Shura was focusing his perception onto his body to see if there are any changes. The only thing he could tell is that his body was absorbing the energy but he could feel that the seal was restraining his body from absorbing too much this caused no changes in his body. This isn’t what he wanted. Right now he could feel a sense of hunger from every part of his body and he also felt a little instability, but this is what he hopes for, for only this way may the seal placed on him be loosened at least a bit.

While he was thinking about this, he suddenly felt like the energy being sent into his body began to increase rapidly, then like a surge it increased greatly.

From the perspective of those outside of the altar the waterspouts were like a python that swallowed something and was regurgitating. This scene perplexed many but few realized what was happening. Tu Zhang ran towards the altar, slightly hesitant the Tu family Patriarch ran forward as well.
