Neidr jumped up and chased after Laszlo. He focused 100% of his attention on running, then his exercises. By the time they were jogging back to Laszlo's classroom, Laszlo spoke out.
"How is it?" [Laszlo]
"Ah, good, I guess."[Neidr]
"Hurts like hell, but I'm holding on."[Neidr] Laszlo slapped Neidr's shoulder and said,
"You've done well, you're my first student that could use the trickle method on their own." Neidr felt a tinge of pride, but then he frowned and asked,
"Am I your first student?" [Neidr]
"Indeed."[Laszlo]
'Motherfucker'
"You might have noticed already, but mana irradiates in large volumes from all things. This is especially the case with trained wizards. They are constantly giving off vast amounts of mana unique to them. This makes them easy to track for those that have enough mana awareness. Using the Trickle method, you will not have this problem. You will be near invisible to mana sense. This brings up the next step to the trickle method. Make sure to only release newly generated mana. This is much more difficult than what you are doing now, so take it one step at a time. Your old mana is constantly being compressed by this method. Releasing this condensed mana makes your total mana gain not nearly as efficient as otherwise. Work on this between class." [Laszlo] Neidr nodded and the two of them went their separate ways. Neidr went straight to his dorm, then to Arrieta's room, as he still had not learned anything from her since the day before.
Neidr meandered over and when he got to Arrieta's room, he knocked three times.
No answer.
Neidr scratched his head and knocked three more times. Then, he shrugged his shoulders and said under his breath,
"Guess she isn't here."[Neidr] Just as he turned around, the door opened behind him.

"Whatcha want Neidr?"[Arrieta] Neidr looked at her and asked humorously,
"Sleeping?"[Neidr] Arrieta nodded and said,
"You do look tired, but you should sleep in your room." [Arrieta] Neidr massaged his brow and corrected,
"No, I meant were you sleeping. You took awhile to open the door." [Neidr] Arrieta tilted her head and asked,
"Awfully nosy, aren't we?"[Arrieta]
'why do I even bother?'
"Nevermind that, teach me medicine." [Neidr] Arrieta's eyes opened wide and she said,
"Well, I could, but why would I?"[Arrieta]
"The sake of friendship."[Neidr]
"I would believe you if yer expression wasn't blank and yer voice wasn't monotone."[Arrieta] Neidr pulled a bag out his pocket and placed in into Arrieta's hand.Arrieta looked at the brown sack with a quirked eyebrow and asked,
"Wha..."[Arrieta]
"Me, you, shopping, let's go." [Neidr] Neidr turned around and started making his ways through the winding halls of Rotham. Arrieta skipped up to him and said,
"Ya' know I'll teach you, but it ain't fer the money, ok?" [Arrieta] Neidr held out his hand and said,
"Give it back then."[Neidr] Arrieta pulled the bag back into her chest and scorned,
"shameless!" [Arrieta] Neidr raised his eyebrows and made his way to the teleporter. Upon seeing it, Arrieta said,
"I haven't been here yet, how do you go about using it?" [Arrieta]
"Walk into it."[Neidr] Then he walked into it and appeared in the park of Rotham city. He waited for a moment, and then Arrieta appeared next to him.
"Woah, that's so cool! I should come here more often,"[Arrieta] her excitement died down a little soon after though, she frowned and asked,
"but how do we go back?"[Arrieta] Then she disappeared. Neidr gave a little chuckle while she was gone. A few seconds later she appeared again and shouted,

"Dontcha worry, I figured it out!"[Arrieta]
"Good job."[Neidr]
"Yep yep! Where do we go first?" [Arrieta] her excited eyes looked at Neidr in anticipation.
"Let's go get some equipment."[Neidr]
Ah, ok."[Arrieta]
The duo made their way through the streets and finally found the area they were looking for. Neidr guided Arrieta through buying the appropriate books, stamps, cards and wands. Arrieta bought several herbs. Neidr bought bandages and tourniquets with her. Everytime he tried to grab one by himself she'd scold him saying that tourniquet was of poor quality. In the end, he just let her pick his medical supplies. Neidr also bought a large brown trenchcoat with inner pockets. In between scouring these shops, Neidr bought a knife.
No no, two knives. A backup just in case.
Three knives. Just in case he loses the backup.
Four knives just in case he loses the backup to the backup.
Everytime Neidr bought a knife and started to walk away, he would turn back and purchase another knife. He also bought a small compact crossbow and five bolts, as well as a water skin. He bought a sheathe for each knife and Eventually, he ran out of money...
Arrieta ran up to him and said,
"I've got everything I need. Let's us go out to eat."[Arrieta]
"I don't have any money left."[ Neidr]
"Don't worry! I'll pay for you!"[Arrieta]
"Oh, thank..."[Neidr frowned]
'That's my money.' In the end, he nodded and the duo found a small noodle shop. It was relatively inexpensive, but the customers sitting out at the wooden tables seemed to be enjoying their food. Arrieta went up to a black-haired shop owner who was making the noodles on a clean table in the view of everyone. Neidr sat down at an empty table and waited. Arreieta came back to the table and said,
"Oh, I just remembered. You need to go to that noble meeting on the weekend. Do you need fancy clothes for that?"[Arrieta]
'shit'
"Yes."[Neidr] Seeing Neidr unperturbed face she said,
"As long as you have it figured out." [Arrieta] She shrugged her shoulders and looked out at the people walking through the street.
'I'm so fucking screwed.' Neidr shook his head, 'Ah, whatever, I'll grab something, I still have a couple of days left.'
