Regardless of how vicious Liam believed Neidr to be, he felt he was telling the truth. This crazy bastard might be Liam's only way to save his brother and sisters in arms. They had only fought together for a week, but they felt more bonded than blood. Liam tightened his hands and looked at Neidr with newfound determination, he said, "What do I need to do?"[Liam] Neidr gave a soft smile and said, "You need to get angry."[Neidr]

"Deep breaths deep breaths. Ok ok ok, I have done this before." [Loso] Loso shook his head and scratched at his hair and mumbled,
"Not to this extent! Not to this extent! Not to this extent!" Loso reminded himself of Professor Zalar's words,
'The princes are all in the mansion. Make your greetings and leave. All security is focused there. No one will notice you're missing. No one will care. All you have to do is what you have already been doing. ' Loso made his way down the halls looking too and fro frantically making sure there was no one to see him. He was worried, how could he not be? Although he had been instructing beasts to attack initiates for years now, this would be the first time he did so without a school sanction. Loso tried to calm himself down in his heart. Although the punishment for derelecting school rules was harsh, they wouldn't do anything to him unless they had absolute proof. Zalar was an important teacher at this school afterall. A wonderful magician that had mastered teleportation. No one else in Rotham could do it. Loso silently gripped the magi tools in his pocket. Professor Zalar handed these out to every teacher, it was a one time use item that allowed you to teleport to a specific destination. Loso quickened his pace, he wouldn't be comfortable unless he made it to his office. The offices of teachers were protected from outside mana afterall. It wouldn't be any good if people discovered his teleportation. Even if they went into his office to look for signs of teleportation, they would find too many spells. He always teleported in his office, afterall. They could never sift through the mana imprints. Seeing the door to his office up ahead, Loso rushed forward and began reciting the spell to unlock it. Just as he said the final word, a voice came up behind him, scaring him half to death.

"Professor Loso, I would like to talk about something." [Liam]
'I've been negligent.' Loso closed his eyes for a moment and scanned the mana in the surrounding area, only finding Liam's. Loso slowly relaxed and said awkwardly,
"What is it that you want, Mister Bizalom?"[Professor Loso] Liam gave a soft snicker at the professor's words, and loso shrank his neck back.
"What do I want? What do I want!? I want my friends lives back! You killed them, didn't you! You murdered them, right?!"[Liam]
'shit shit shit shit shit shit shit'
"Mr. Bizalom, please calm down"[Professor Loso] Loso stuttered.
"Calm down! You want me to calm down!? Are you insane?!"[Liam] Liam rushed over and picked Loso up by his coller screaming and spewing spittle he said,
"How am I supposed to calm down? MY FRIENDS ARE DEAD!" [Liam] Professor Loso let out a high-pitched yelp and tried to put up a tough front.
"Student Bizalom, assaulting a teacher will get you kicked out of Rotham!" [Loso] Liam's eyes calmed down and he looked at the ground, He slowly placed Loso down and mumbled,
"Sorry, Sir, please don't, please forget about this."[Liam] Professor Loso nodded his head magnanimously seeing Liam back down and said,
"Very well, I shall let you off this one time, go to your room and reflect on your actions."[Loso] Loso kept his eyes trained on Liam as he walked away. Only when Liam was totally out of his sight did Loso release a breath of turbid air and walk into his office. The old dark library looking room was stacked with dusty books and shelves. Loso let out a sigh of relief, shut the door and went up to an interface next to the door.
A white pearl emitted a transparent blue panel of light, once touched. Loso slowly filled out the form that he did everyday. It was important to make sure that the Teacher was the one that entered the room. Loso entered a series of passwords, so an alarm would not go off warning everyone in the structure, that his room had been infiltrated. Loso gave a little giggle to himself,

'that sure would be awkward.' Once he was settled with everything, he took out the stick like teleportation magi-tool. He made sure he had the right one, these had pre-set coordinates and were one time use afterall. Thinking he was free from worry, Loso snapped the Magi-tool.
Then a force smashed into him, knocking him onto the ground. A pair of arms wrapped themselves around his waist as he was teleported away with an unknown assailant.

Neidr smiled giddily, He was really invisible to mana sense when he held back all of his mana. The hard part had already been accomplished. Killing a teacher in a school was outright suicidal. Even if you managed to off him before he called for help, what would you do with the body? Plus, killing him once he was secured in his office was a sure-fire way of convincing everyone he had nothing to do with it. Those offices are locked with state of the art magic spells. He couldn't force his way in, hell other teachers would find that difficult. Furthermore, they wouldn't even know he has dead for a while if they never find his body. Neidr shook his head, no matter how well he prepared, it wouldn't matter if people had been monitoring the whole school. It would be quite silly to pretend you had nothing to do with it if they watched you sneak into the office. For that, he would have to thank professor Zalar. How else would Neidr be confident in not getting caught? Zalar didn't want to get caught, either. So that grumpy old man picked the perfect time for no one to watch Loso's route.
Why bother about that? Well, its very simple. Although Zalar didn't think people would try to find trouble with him once the deed was done, if they caught them in the middle of it, they would surely stop him. Neidr pulled out one of his many knives and stabbed into Professor Loso crazily before the poor man had a chance to plead for his life. If a knife got stuck, Neidr would just pull out another and continue to stab. Professor Loso let out a series of wretched screams that no one would ever hear. Once Loso was no longer moving, Neidr stood up and looked down on the man's corpse. It was shredded with knife wounds and had six knives sticking up out of his flesh. It looked more like raw hamburger than human. Neidr massaged his tired arms and looked down at the corpse satisfied. Soon after, he heard the bestial howls of the monsters around Flirord. This man seemed to have called for help with all of his might to the beasts in this area. Rather than be worried about this, Neidr smiled,
"Aren't you helpful, you called a cleanup crew for me."[Neidr] Neidr collected his knives and looked down at his clothes that were drenched with blood and looked around. Luckily, he saw a lake nearby. After searching Loso's corpse for the second teleportation magi-tool, Neidr stripped and bathed in the water. He scrubbed the viscous blood off of his skin and air-dryed himself as he watched the oncoming beast tide. Just as they were about to reach him, he snapped the magi-tool and appeared in Loso's office. Neidr opened the door by a crack and saw Liam, standing in the hallway looking around uneasily.
"Hand them to me."[Neidr]
"Ah," [Liam] Liam rushed over and handed Neidr a set of new clothes. Neidr quickly threw them on and exited the room, shutting the door behind him, it automatically locked.
"So," [Neidr] Neidr said, "Want to help me move out of our room?"[Neidr] Neidr gave Liam a toothy grin.

Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.
