Two hours after Shiro came crashing down at the only survivor’s camp in Valdavia’s capital, the [Magic Knight from Another World] in tow.
“Who are you?!”
“Wait, look closely—he’s human!”
A blood-drenched figure strolled into the camp with a few other injured fellows in tow.
Ryouta sighed in relief after finally reaching the camp. In the end, he still had to save some people from the demons’ clutches and carry them by himself.
“Shiro!”
Immediately after dropping off the wounded soldiers, he made his way to the eye-catching white-haired girl who was simply standing still in the middle of the camp.
Shiro beamed at Ryouta, as if she was happy to see him.
Standing next to her was Nanba Anna. Since she had reached camp, her leg was almost immediately looked after. After two hours of basking under the healer’s power, she was as good as new.
“You…”
“It’s Takahashi. Is your leg fine, now?”
“Takahashi, thank you.” Nanba Anna looked conflicted as she paused. “How… how did you become so strong?” In the short amount of time that they had spent together, she did not have any recollection of the boy ever showing any signs of the current strength that he had now. She was really curious as how the ‘normal’ Ryouta who had no special or redeeming qualities in the beginning became so strong after two years.
If he had been so strong, and stayed to fight from the beginning, things wouldn’t have turned out so badly, she hatefully thought. But she knew she was simply misplacing the blame. After all, when Ryouta left the castle, no one ever thought of stopping him. Rather, they all forgot about his existence as they were too absorbed in their training.
“It’s a long story,” he replied. To be honest, he did not have the patience to tell Nanba Anna about his experiences. It wasn’t like they were close friends, after all, so he simply dismissed her question. Furthermore, they were in such an emergency situation; no one had the time to tell stories.

Ryouta returned to the battlefield once again after resting for a bit.
“! Hal!”
While in the middle of slaughtering the demons, Ryouta found his comrade from the same guild, Hal, struggling as he walked through the carnage that he left behind, one hand was holding his thin, needle-like sword while the other hand… was nowhere in sight. One of his arm was completely severed, the blood flowing out of the wound continuously like a waterfall.
“Fancy seeing you here,” says Hal. He managed a half-smile, appearing as if nothing was off, but his pallid complexion and the sweat dripping from his forehead betrayed the amount of pain he was holding in.
“Hal, your arm…”
“It’s not a big deal,” Hal laughed. “Hey, don’t look so glum. See, this isn’t even my dominant arm, so don’t worry about it.”
“Did you take a potion?”
“Haha… I, ran out of potions midway.” Hal laughed, his face paling. “What a sucky thing to happen, huh?”
“Hal…!” Ryouta felt his heart tighten. The man in front of him was one of the strongest people he knew. That person lost an arm yet he could still joke around like he always did. He felt a sourness in his heart, feeling aggrieved for the man.
“There’s a healer in the camp. Maybe she can help you.”
“Is there, now? Can you… lead the… way…?” Hal’s voice slowed. He could no longer bear the pain and was starting to lose consciousness. “This is… bad… haa… it seems like… I’ll have to, rely… on you… take care of me, will you, Ryou…?”
Hal collapsed.
Thankfully, Ryouta’s reflexes were good so he was able to catch the older man quickly.
Ryouta brought the man back to the camp quickly and made the healer prioritise his injuries. Seeing the grievous injuries of the man, the healer did not complain about Ryouta’s brashness and simply started to work.

Shiro looked at the healer with amazement. The woman’s face showed her tiredness. Being the only healer in the middle of war, naturally, she was the busiest person on the planet. There was no time for her to rest at all, and she was working hard to heal as many people as she could.
Hm~
Providing meritorious service in the war, in the form of saving lives; the karmic luck will help you in the future.
Shiro’s eyes briefly flashed, changing to gold for a short moment before turning back into its usual blue colour. Her fingers twitched slightly.
However, her surroundings were too busy, so no one noticed this strange occurrence.
Shiro turned back from the hectic scene, then moved to catch up to Ryouta who was already moving back to the battlefield.
Soon enough, the demons in the surrounding areas were completely annihilated, and many more survivors managed to come back to the camp with their lives still intact.

The New World
An AI calling itself Schema has assimilated earth into its system. As a consequence, everyone gained access to status screens, power-ups, and skills. This AI turned these concepts from fiction to fact. It's easy to become intoxicated with leveling up and becoming stronger. To some, it's too good to be true like living out a dream. For Daniel, however, it's closer to a nightmare. He's in a bit of a predicament. Cracks in our dimensional fabric have unleashed terrifying beasts from dark, abyssal places. Schema organizes these cracks into dungeons, giving the native species of the planet a chance to fight back. Daniel finds himself trapped in one of these dungeons. Not long after, he discovers there's only one way out. Kill or be killed. (Note: I am currently editing the story and I'm uploading those edits. It will take time to do this, so if you find a huge shift in the story's formatting, that's why. I'm steadily hammering away at it, but it's going to take time. Thanks for your understanding, if you're offering it.) This is a lit-RPG inspired by the Fallout series of games and the Legend of Randidly Ghosthound. Ira’s Faithful
[On Hiatus due to health reasons] Synopsis: Fate has plans for everyone. There are many paths one can walk and many nodes one can unlock. Yet all mortal souls only start with one node. This has been the case for many years and while there are some records of people with more than one first node, these are as rare as wings on snails, roses made of air, or ropes made of dragon-hair. Elise Anker has two first nodes. She doesn't know why and the only one that could answer is an angry voice in her head. She hears it rarely and the voice is as helpful as a sword is effective against a Leviathan. She strives to become a mage, a knight or maybe something else entirely. The future is uncertain and unless she finds out what her nodes mean, she will never know what she wants to become. But her nodes won't unlock and the angry voice tells her that she needs to find a worthy foe to kill. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, and incidents are either the products of the author’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. I am also not a professional author. This is simply a rough draft and therefore subject to change. Furthermore, this fiction is rather slow-paced for a rather long time. But compare it to a bundle of dynamite, you wouldn't want that to explode right in someone's face, would you? Chaos Wave
The year is 2055. Virtual Reality has been around for nearly forty years, and the Full Sensation Dive System has been around for about thirty. The various countries of Earth have long since given up on Warring against each other in this dimension when it turned out that with the FSDS (Full Sensation Dive System) virtual worlds became real, especially once Richard Alonzo Albeque's AIQNPC (Artificial Intelligence Quest and Non-Player Character) System was released and spread like a wild virus across all the active MMOs. People vanished from their Dive system, leaving nothing behind of the person they were, and the Characters they were in game become locked out, and no longer responsive to the System. In addition to this, they are suddenly showing up on ALL servers of a game at the same time, almost as if they were now an NPC. The governments put a stop to all distribution of FSDS Technology, and keep an eye on these 'Digitized Players'. Ten years pass and one of the first ever Digitized Players, a Level 500 Catgirl by the name of Atreya the Dawnbirth, created a stable portal between their MMO and Earth. With the return of one of the players, the governments remove the bans on FSDS Technology, which has still been researched heavily while under the ban. Wars break out over control of Virtual Worlds, but these wars are all fought ON the Virtual World, so the Earth isn't polluted further. Immortality is now available to all who seek it, if you can find a World to call your own. Of course, nobody paid attention to one of the few warnings Atreya brought back with her... The NPCs sometimes became sentient and disobeyed coding laws.

Echelon of The Owls
Parallel worlds or other worlds. The existence of infinite existence where it only exists in science fiction like in comics, books, or cartoons. We, humans, are so fond of that fiction idea, imagining a thousand worlds where we can have different appearances, lives, and selves. For example, a murderer who's been living in the underbelly of society in the dark might be the most successful businessman in an alternate timeline or reality. The infinite possibilities we could have, that's why the idea of parallel worlds revolves around "what if", " I should've...", etc. The wishful thinking that how we could have done it better or in a word, "regret". Other than that, it's still from fiction. The concept of it only exists in our imaginary minds. But, it all changed when 20 students from an ordinary high school were caught in a mysterious phenomenon. A surge of blue light crawled across the whole room, symbols, lines, and geometric patterns emerged slowly. The light slowly grew brighter and brighter, in a blink of an eye, all of them vanished. Till to this day, the mysterious phenomenon was left to be unknown, with the existence of those 20 students. Join the journey of Sirius Steorra and Alice Schwartz as they transverse to the other world and uncover the mysteries of its world. A world that’s shrouded by mysteries and history. This is their story... ----------------------------------------------------- This is also available in Webnovel and Scribblehub.
