Leila stayed there for a full year before she received a message from the Eleventh member of [Judgement], Yggril.

“How long are you going to play around?” The message says. “Get back to work.”

Leila looked as if she was about to cry. “What do you mean, ‘playing around’? I was working, okay~?”

“It’s not work if it’s a personal request. In the first place, stop accepting useless tasks like these.”

“But it’s not useless!” Leila pouted. “Lin-Lin was having a burnout, okay? She was so stressed out. I should at least do something for her as a friend, okay?”

“Whatever. Get back here, as soon as you can, tsk.”

Leila glowered at the bird-shaped messenger puppet. “Cranky old man,” she muttered under her breath.

Whatever~ she was finished anyways.

She had seen how smoothly everything had turned out.

Julie who was mentally scarred by her death was slowly healed by Lily, the protagonist of the world.

Friar turned into a bad seed, and she ended up in banishment since she was found out to be using under-handed means to get rid of Lily, but afterwards her life turned for the better. She reflected on her actions and had begun a merry life travelling the world.

Just like that, Leila’s stay in the world ended.

Later, she found out from Lin-Lin, the Domain Lord of the world, that her twins ended up becoming a legend in the beast realm, having a life full of ups and downs.

But that was another story.

Currently, Leila was waiting with a furious gaze in the world between worlds. She tapped her foot impatiently, her arms crossed on her chest.

Suddenly, a light flashed near her.

She launched herself towards the light, tackling the person that appeared from within the light.

“You! Youyouyouyouyouyouyou~!” She pulled the person’s cheeks, stretching it painfully.

“Ow! Wha—“

“How could you~?!” Leila looked adorably angry, making the person swallow his words.

“Leila…” The person choked, his eyes reddening. “Have you been waiting for me…?”

Leila unabashedly slapped the idiot’s face.

“You! How dare you neglect our children! My poor Loki and Riel!” Leila continued to slap him.

She had stayed in the world for a while, and every once in a while she would go back to check up on her children while monitoring Lily’s and Julie’s progress.

But this idiot! He actually dared!

Loki and Riel spent the next few years fending for themselves thanks to the new village drunkard of a father, Sieg. In the end, the idiot finally dropped dead from excessive alcohol consumption.

Afterwards, with no one to take care of them, Loki and Riel, with the funding from everyone in the village, headed towards Rantel, the beastman nation, in search of a better life. Luckily, they were blessed with great physique and vitality thanks to Leila’s blood that ran through their veins, and even greater luck considering that all of the souls that gets to reincarnate into Leila’s offspring’s bodies were usually people with good souls and large amount of karmic luck.

“I-I’m sorry…” Realising that Leila had witnessed everything, he dropped his head in shame.

“Muu~!” Leila puffed her cheeks. “Considering that you are the father of my children, I might as well do you one last favour as thanks. Hmph!”

Ha~ in the end, Leila still had some lingering affections towards the idiot.

“Favour?”

“Hmph! either reincarnate or go to the Mortal Palace and enjoy your afterlife! Choose!”

“Leila… which one should I choose to be with you?”

Leila raised an eyebrow, “a weakling like you wants to be with me?” Once she returned to [Sanctuary], feelings like ‘love’ or ‘affection’ would not affect her. Even if he came back with her, she would not be able to love him the same way Leila had. After all, the mortal [Leila] was already dead.

Sieg lowered his head further, “Leila… I can’t live without you.”

“Leila!” Sieg called out just as the golden-eyed girl pushed him back, sending him falling into a newly-opened portal behind him.

“We~ll then. Time to go home~” The white-haired girl waved her hand, and another portal opened up before her. She passed through it, a light smile on her face.
