The trees are where much higher then me and are covered in green leaves, this just seems to be a nice place to stroll around no monsters and no training grounds which means it's perfect for training all alone. I walk around until i find a plan patch of grass i go sit down in the lotus position.

I entered a meditative state and search inside my body for mana. I find it easily it is centered around my heart it seems to have the shape of water but somehow different more violent than water more destructive it keeps bouncing around and shifting into violent shapes is this what blood mana is a violent mess of destructive power.

'No Blood magic is more pure than then water magic the only problem is that it is a double edged blade it can turn on you just as easily as it can destroy your opponents that's why we will work on it very slowly"

OK let's give that i shot i will try what i try with the fire mana 'Flow''Right Arm' the command works instantly the blood mana started leaving the area around my arm and flowed into my right arm it just stayed there and continued to circulate over and over never stopping.

'Drake it worked and surprisingly easy'

'Of course it did it is your mana it will obey you while it's in your body like any limb but once it leaves it will get a lot harder to control just to warn you, now then for the next phase you have to let a tiny amount of blood mana out of your body enough to make a single drop of blood 2cm by 2cm, ordinary people will have to make some kind of wound to do this but because blood magic is your affinity you don't have to'

Ok now all i have to do is is make a small drop of blood on my hand i focus a small piece of blood mana onto my hand and start to form a drop of blood there. For a few seconds i'm afraid that i screwed up but then blood starts to appear out of thin air it's completed in seconds a single small drop of red blood.

'Good work now comes the hard part you have to move the blood around your body'

'That doesn't sound so hard'

I try to move the drop of blood using my mind but it feels so heavy like i am trying to move through a swap made out of lead i keep trying i finally get the drop to move an inch but that's not good enough i need to get better no matter what i will master my Blood magic.

55 minutes later

I can finally move the drop around my body slowly but i can still do it progress, i am covered in sweat though but my body has not yet run out of mana which is good for now but i wonder how much longer i can last.

'Drake how long until my mana runs out'

'15 more minutes then it will need to rest for a little while before you can use it again'

Now is the time i really need to push my self i focus harder on my blood and try to push it further than before. I manage some success the drop of blood moves faster around my body then before i continue to push more and more.Soon the feeling of the swamp leaves and starts to feel like walking through through thick mud not a lot better but it sure is an improvement. I continue until i loose all connection to the blood and it just fades in the wind.

'So that was blood magic it's going to be hard to learn'

'Yes it will but the harder the things to learn the bigger payoff'

The end of the day bell rings. I guess it's time i go and meet Luke out the front of Homeroom class. I get up from the lotus position and start walking through the forest towards the main building.

Four people jump down from the trees and surround me they are all wearing assassin gear like most do but there is something strange about them they all have a crest on their right shoulders the crest is in the shape of a Golden staff with a white background. So this is how Elizabeth Goldmage deals with people who reject her she sends assassins after them, correction crappy assassins.

"So you want to die with honour that's fine with us but understand your death will not be fast"

"Wow Elizabeth Goldmage really knows how to hold grudges doesn't she"

"How did you know we were assassins for the Goldmage family"

"You have there family crest on your armour it wasn't that hard to figure out"

"Fine then i guess it's time for you to die now"

One of the assassins rushes at me with a sword drawn and aimed at my throat his speed is just sad. If i had my sword then i wouldn't need the powers of my mark but unfortunately i do need them so here goes. I turn on my [Sword Mark], I dodge the blade then catch the assassin by the throat and crush it, ending his sad life.

Another assassin attacks with two swords he tries to cross cut me i jump back, it was a bad move i feel a slash appear on my arm i jump to the side and see my arm his a deep slash on it i look over at where the attack came from and one of the assassins has a chain scythe, dammit i made a rookie mistake, i dash forward the one with the chain scythe throws the scythe end at me aimed for my heart i twist my body and goes past me, i grab onto the chain and pull he comes flying towards me i grab ahold of his head and smash it into the ground with all my strength Killing him.

I feel an arrow going into my left shoulder not two deep two more come for me i jump to the right they just miss me i turn around and it's the one who talked of dying with honor and the one with two swords. so which should i kill first the one with the bow and arrows seems like a good idea. He draws another arrow aims it at me all right let's do this. He starts shooting arrows at me i use the trees for cover i keep getting closer but i know the one with two swords will stop me but i have a plan. I take cover behind a tree he keeps shooting arrows at it 5 arrows, 6 arrows, 7 arrows in the tree the 8th one goes through perfect i summon all my strength and punch hard into the tree *CRACK* timber the tree comes crashing down *BOOM!*.

Once the smoke clears i see the fruit of my labor the one with the bow and arrow was completely crushed but the one with two swords only had his leg crushed pinning him under the tree oh this worked out better than i had hoped. I walk over to him and smile he starts saying things i don't care about i pull the arrow from my shoulder and shove it into his eye he screams like a pig don't care but he doesn't stop. I Place my hand over his mouth.

"Now then shut the fuck up and listen to me i will kill you no matter what you say but how i kill depends on what you say see i can kill slow and painful or i could kill fast and painless so i suggest you tell me what i want to know"

I take my hand away from his mouth.

"So now here's what i want to know was it directly Elizabeth Goldmage who hired you"

"No it was her older sister who hired me she contacted us from the fancy Motel named Asgard where she's staying for a few more days"

"How many people did she bring with her"

"I didn't see anyone with her"

"Really?"

"I swear please don't hurt me"

"Ok then how much did she pay you"

"She said we would be made members of her clan that's all we wanted i swear"

I can tell he's not lying but i still can't believe him that's all he wanted i don't know if that's sad or just pathetic.

"Ok next question what kind of forces does the Goldmage family have inside this city"

"Not much inside this city just a few minor connections because they have been losing power slowly in the city to the four major families"

"No she just gave us your name and appearance we looked throughout the entire school looking for you until we found you"

I grab a hold of the arrow in his eye and shove it into his brain killing him. Now then for a little message for the Goldmage family i dip my hand into the blood from the dead assassins and write in their blood 'COME AFTER ME AND DIE PAINFULLY' now then i check my wounds they are almost completely healed thanks to the [Sword Mark] i turn it off. Dammit i am really late i have to go.
