《Dark Chronicles》CH 51 Castle siege pt 2

I continued to rain down my sonic bombs onto the castle. I hear fewer screams come from the castle. I guess that means I've killed most of their force.
'Drake, have you pinpointed that source of mana yet?'
'Yes. It is in the center building of the castle I can direct you there.'
'Okay, let's get going.'
I walk out of my hiding place and follow the path leading down to the once perfect castle.
When I arrive the whole place is nearly on fire the buildings have nearly all collapsed. Blown up body parts littered all over the floor.
I move all the destroyed buildings out of my way by forming giant hands out of blood.
I walk through the streets of the once great castle.
"Help! P-please help me!"
I see someone trapped under a stone column. Most have been crushed to death already but this guy’s just barely hanging on to what life he has left.
I walk towards him.
"Please help me."
"Of course, I'll help you..."
I kneel down beside him, I place my finger on his throat then I create a small blood knife and run it across his throat. His blood gushes out mixing with the other blood already lying on the floor. I see him looking up at me as his life fades away; his eyes read: ‘why?’. Simple! That’s because that was the only way to help him.
I continue to walk the streets of the castle killing off any survivors.
'Take the next left and continue to walk straight.'
I followed Drake's directions to the letter. I soon ended up in front of a large pair of doors that belonged to a large central chamber that shined with many jewels encoded into its outer walls.
'I'm guessing this is the place.'
'Yes.'
I walked up the stair to the doors.
"Stop!"
I turn around to see at least 30 people all heavily injured but still holding weapons against me... So some people did survive the initial assault.
"Call out the rest of you men."
"There is no one else; only me."
"That's impossible! One man could not have done all this."
"But you see: I did it."
"That makes our job easier; we only have to kill you."
"True... But this makes my life more fun now, I get to kill all of you up close and personal!"
"Kill him!"
They charge at me with their weapons drawn. I guess I'm a little sick because even the thought of killing them all brought a smirk to my face. I dash in front of the men leading the charge before anyone could act I had embedded a blood sword into his chest. What happened next was fun I dashed in between the crowd of people decapitating heads, impaling people with my sword and sometimes just cutting off limbs to let them bleed out.
After I was done, what was left of those 30 people was a bloody mess of corpses. Now for the final boss.
The doors were heavy and creaked along the floor as I pushed them open. Inside was a dark hallway. As I walked through the hallway, I could hear voices at the end of the tunnel getting louder and louder. There were torches lined across the wall, columns keeping the roof up and at the back of the room was a silk curtain that separated everyone and a beautiful woman behind it. She has long silky black hair her perfect skin only complimented her full pink lips, those green eyes of her looked like they could see through my very soul.

"So this is where all the survivors are."
I walked out from the dark hallway. The assassins that were kneeling by the sides room had now drawn their weapons and formed a wall between me and their mistress.
"Who are you?"
"Wow... You ordered a hit out on me last night and you don't even remember my name now that just hurts my feelings."
"Wait... I know him mistress, he is the one Vega was sent to kill last night Kaito."
"Yes, I am also the one who wiped out the RockFist gang."
"That was also you why have you done these things do you have some kind of vendetta against us or something"
"No, not really. I wiped out the RockFist gang because they were scum I killed this Vega person because he tried to kill me and I burnt your castle to the ground partly because it seemed fun and if I didn't then I would have to look over my shoulder wondering when you would get me I couldn't live like that so I destroyed you. Plain and simple"
"Wait. Are you saying you destroyed this entire castle? And all it's people by yourself!"
"Yes."
"That's impossible! It would at least take an entire army of knights and mages unless you where either a saint or a sage... Which you are not, so it's impossible!"
"That's where you are wrong butler guy, because you see I'm a raging psychopath and us psychopaths can be very dangerous... Let me show you."
Blood red spikes appeared out of the ground impaling the assassins who dared stand in my way one after another they were impaled some even squirmed .Now all that was left was the butler and the women behind the silk.
"How did you do that?"
"Simple mister butler, I'm a blood mage. Now that lets me control blood, even the blood that has long soaked into the floor so all I did was connect to that blood then bring it to the surface and use it to impale your little group of assassins now all that's left is you and that bitch behind the silk."
"How dare you come in here and insult the mistress!"
The butler was charging at me with gauntlets on his hands they were very simple except for the silver skull on top of them.I brought a blood spike to the surface the butler was able to just barely dodge. He continued to charge at me he was able to dodge all my attacks with the blood spikes. He finally got close to me to land a hit but just before hitting me he fell down like a puppet with all its strings cut. Idiot! I could have killed him the second I saw him. All I was doing was playing around with him after all.
Now for the main boss. There was only one problem with her I could not get any of my oxidized blood past the silk curtain. I think it is enchanted or maybe some kind special fabric.
'Drake, is the magical source you found close by?'

'Yes, it is just behind that woman.'
I walked towards the silk curtain and opened it. Once I passed the threshold of the curtain, I started to choke my breath become ragged and I was starting to feel my body slowly shutting down on me.
"Hahaha! So child, it looks like you have found my last line of defense the entire area past that silk curtain is filled with deadly nerve toxin that has come from the gills of the deadly six colored butterflyfish."
The goddess of death walks down from her pedestal. She stops in front of me and looks down with those same eyes from my old world.
Those eyes that made me feel worthless, feel like I was just a piece of shit that she had stepped on by mistake. I hate those eyes... This bitch… She kicked me across the face with those slender legs of hers.
"Now hear me child, I am going to kill you not today or the next day but in the near future after I have burned sister Trish's orphanage to the ground and made you eat the ashes like the dog you are. Oh, and about what you've done today, that can easily be replaced the people you killed were skilled but a skilled person it born every second they are just waiting for me to come and employ them and lastly, the building well for it, I can just use the bones of those who failed me to rebuild my castle so do you understand child you have not made any real difference in the world."
"The only thing I understand is that you're a heartless bitch those assassins gave their lives for and you don't even care. All you care about is yourself!"
She kicked me across the face again.
"See now child? That's where you're wrong I do care about something else than myself. Power is something I have and you don't."
"What you have is not power... Just pathetic lies and tricks hiding behind your beauty. So how about you just shut up about power you whoring slut."
For the first time, I saw a truly ugly expression on this bitch's face it was an ugly face of rage she goes to kick me across the face once more. This time, though I caught it. She was stunned I pushed her over.
"Now you want to see what true power is."
"How are you able to move? That toxin should paralyze anyone who doesn't have the antidote flowing through their veins..."
"It's really something simple that most people don't seem to get: I'm a blood mage meaning that when it comes to my own body, I am a god. So when poison tries to enter it I just use my blood cells to break the poison and make myself immune to it."
"But I saw you your body completely locked up and shut down."
"That's true... Because of the rarity and powerfulness of the poison it took me a while to stop and destroy the poison but I got there. In the end, I believe it's time for me to show you real power."
The bitch tried to runway but tripped on her own dress. She turned to me with tears in her eyes.
"Don't kill me! Please, I'll do whatever you want!! Just please don't kill me!!!"
"I could spare you only one day to find a dagger across my throat the next day. So sorry but I'm not that stupid."
She tried to run away once again, this time, I stopped her with my blood control.
"Now, now, don't you know it's rude to run away from someone when they are trying to show you something?"
I connect to the [Dragon mark] and form a bright ball of fire similarly shaped to the sun appears in my hand.
"See this is what true power looks like close up."
She opened her slutty mouth into an o shape, in shock.
"Now, here’s what's going to happen: no if's, no but's and you are going to swallow this. It's going to burn you up from the inside while I sit back and enjoy usually I would like to tear you apart piece by piece but morning is almost here and I am a very busy person so you will have to die like this."
I place the ball of fire into her mouth it slides down her throat and into her body. At first nothing happened but soon rays of burning light shot from those once perfect green eyes soon the same rays shot from her ears it didn't take long for the rays to turn into burning flames that burned through her entire body it didn't take long for those flames to turn her once perfect flesh to ash.
'Drake, where is the source of magical power?'
'It is just behind her throne.'
I walk past her throne made from silk cushions to find only a wall.
'There's nothing here.’
'Try placing your hand against the wall.'
I did as Drake said. The wall starts to beat like a heart after every two seconds. It would shake and beat like a heart but it would be impossible to tell it was happening unless you were to place your hand against the wall. What the hell is going on here

Journey of my Core
I have a hard time referring anything that I write to as 'Original'. The longer we as a species exist the harder it is to be truly original, I am certainly influenced by all that I read and watch Including but not limited to J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, and all of the stories here on Royal Road. From the start the MC is only able to comprehend the most basic of what is impacting it with very little to no understanding of the MC's surroundings. There may be updates in the future, but I am in no way a consistant writer. I will never claim to be the best artist, but I drew a representation for my story. Procrastination... Procrastination... Procrastination... Procrastination... Procrastination...
