I finally arrive at fenrig. when i attempted to go inside the city, a guard stopped me.
"Halt! do you have any form of identification?" [Guard]
"Yes, i do actually." [Henry]
I then presented my adventurer id card.
"Okay, sorry for bothering you sir, welcome to fenrig." [Guard]
"Thank you." [Henry]
I immediately go to the Adventurer's Guild, with stare or not. i opened the door, went to the counter, and placed the bag of corpses on the counter.
"i would like to reedem my rewards for the mission of hunting a horned wolf." [Henry]
"Okay, i understand, please wait a moment." [Alisa]
"Okay." [Henry]
While waiting, i explored the guild, and i found something on the bulletin board that made me smile like the grinch.
Invite to the party [Flying Star]

Rank requirement: F or higher.
Mission: to hunt the fanged bear
Rewards: a cut of the initial rewards.

A party! i want to join a party! the most epic bonding moments for friends, strangers, and etc. so i thought on which party should i join, but the only thing that i think i can join is the mage one, since after this wolf thing, i should rank up to F, right? then i heard the bell from the counter.
"Henry Black." [Alisa]
"Here." [Henry]
"Congratulations for accomplishing your mission, here are your rewards." [Alisa]
Then a bag was placed on the counter, i looked inside, and it was filled with silver coins.

"Congratulations again Henry Black, you have ranked up from G to F. you have 30 GP remaining." [Alisa]
"Okay thanks for your help, Alisa." [Henry]
"You're welcome." [Alisa]
"Oh, and how do i respond to an invitation in a party on the bulletin board?" [Henry]
"Which party?" [Alisa]
"[The Flying Star]." [Henry]
"Okay, i will inform them that you would like to accept the invitation." [Alisa]
"Thank you again, Alisa." [Henry]
"You're welcome." [Alisa]
i exit the guild, it was late, there were only a few people left walking on the streets. so i went to the same inn i slept in, gave the woman the silver coin, and went straight to room 4. i sat down on the bed, and then i used [Code].

I then pointed my finger upwards, then thought of a fireball the size of a pin pong ball. and a ping-pong-ball-sized fireball appeared. well... that was easy. but, yes! i can use magic now!
I moved the fireball around the room like i had psychokinesis. it was much easier than i originally thought, but considering the skill [Code], nothing really surprises me anymore. so i made the fireball disappear, then i lied down on the bed, and went to sleep.
Good morning.
I woke up, exit the room, went downstairs, and ate breakfast. i then went to the guild to see if there was a response. i opened the door, went to the counter, and talked to Alisa.

"Good morning, Alisa." [Henry]
"Good morning." [Alisa]
"Was there a response on that party?" [Henry]
"Actually, there was. they said to go to the cafe at noon." [Alisa]
"Okay, thank you." [Henry]
Yes! they accepted me! now to go to the caf- wait. i stink. i need some new clothes and i need a bath. i can use cleaning magic, but that's no fun! so i bought some new clothes, just a shirt and pants, took a bath in the bath house, and before i even knew it, it was noon. i went to the cafe immediately and i sat down on a chair. it seems they're not here yet.
30 seconds later...
I saw them. there are 2 men, and 2 women. They're sitting down, they seem to be ordering something. should i go now? should i wait after? i'm going now, f*ck it.
"Hello." [Henry]
"Umm... hello?" [Party Member]
"I'm Henry Black." [Henry]
"Oh! Henry Black, nice to meet you." [Party Member]
This man seems nice, (AN: everyone who greets you normally seems nice to you.) i think he's the leader, since he replied first. i notice a bit of whispering in the party, and i heard, "is this really the guy?" i expected much. with my name alone, people sometimes mistake me for being handsome or cool.
"I'm Mark, this is Ron, she's Sam, and She's Anabel." [Mark]
"Nice to meet you all." [Henry]
Then one of them asked me a question..
"So. what magic attribute do you have?" [Sam]
"Fire Magic." [Henry]
And, another one.
"What's your level?" [Ron]
"11." [Henry]
And, another one.
"Why are you so fat?" [Anabel]
"Can't really change that right now, can i." [Henry]
*cough**cough* [Mark]
"Okay then. we head out tomorrow morning, meeting place: near the west gate. be ready." [Mark]
"Okay." [Henry]
I then leave the cafe, went to the inn again, gave the silver coin, and went to room 4. in my mind, i'm really excited about being in a party! so i couldn't sleep, but eventually, i did.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
