《Deity of carnage - Unholy Kingdom》Keeper - Interlude

In a higher plane of existence - Narrators POV:
In a black void only lit up by several small white specks. Two celestials one black and one white sat across each other from one roundtable. It was not a flat roundtable, instead, it was sphear round. On this globe, fifty percent of it was a murid of green, brown, yellow and blue. Representing the land, mountains, and oceans. On the other half, which was not visible for them at the moment. Was only black darkness, representing night on that part of the globe. This was Terra, their world which they dictated.
"How're your daughters doing?" [Black Deity]
The black deity was a young adult dressed in an all black suit, with a pair of black leather gloves. His head was a blue/purplish color with two horns sticking out atop his head. His eyes as black as the abyss itself.
"*scoffs* Are you trying to butter me up or something? That is so unlike you!" [White Deity]
The white Deity was a mature woman with long hair, reaching the non-existing ground below her. Dressed in a white loos gown, her hair as white as snow and her eyes as yellow as sparkling gold. Having a halo hovering a few centimeters from the top of her head.
"Just small talk, just small talk!" [Black Deity]
The black deity reached out his hand into thin air to retrieve a cup filled with a red liquid. He took a sip of it smiling delighted, then with his free hand he reached for the globe. Pulling a piece out of it made of wood, the size just smaller than his own hand. The piece was black and represented a gigantic dragon. He whispered something to its ear and then he placed it back where he took it from.

"Your turn!" [Black Deity]
The White deity examined the globe, going into thoughts of what her move should be.
"Hmmm, well the twins Life and Nature are doing good for your information. Nature is creating a new species of flowers. I think she mentioned calling them rainbow flowers. How are your boys doing?" [White Deity]
"Chaos and Destruction!? *exasperating* Well, Chaos is helping me with a pet project, so that keeps him out of trouble for now. Destruction on the other hand...I don't know what to do with that boy! He can't even destroy a falling chack that only needs a gust of wind to fall over. He has gotten this obsession with Nature all of a sudden. Looking at flowers!" [Black Deity]
"Now that you say it, I seem to remember Destruction sneaking around my daughter. You know what they say: 'Every act of creation is first an act of destruction'. I think they will fit well together, don't you agree?" [White Deity]
"*scoffs* I think you should talk that over with that errand boy Cupid from Earth and not me! Now that I think about it, that God of Earth really has himself set up nicely. Why did we get stuck together and he gets to dictate his own world all alone!?" [Black Deity]
"Now you're starting to sound like yourself! And you should already know that; he's a perfectionist. Ingenious idea giving his creation full free will, with no divine intervention. His cycles have become natural, where mankind creates their own demise. And in the end, a new cycle begins anew!" [White Deity]
"But why is our system not like his!? Why do we have to constantly fight? Me for destruction and the new cycle and you to prolong the inevitable?" [Black Deity]

"That is just how it is and has been since the age of Terra. Two deity's fighting for dominance. Don't tell me you getting bored after losing for almost a millennium. *chuckles*" [White Deity]
In this moment of their godly mundane talks, rage was seen inside of the black deity eyes as both the deities released and radiated their godly auras as space started to shake from the clash of energies.
What bewildered the white deity, was that the black deity was the first of them to retracted his aura again. A highly unusual occurrence. Since rage and anger was his forte, not calm and compassion like herself.
"He! Trying to fluster me before my next move or something? No! No that's not you! I guess I bit my own ass there, well fret not! Because before the millennium has passed a new cycle will surely have begun!" [Black Deity]
The black deity yet again pulled something out of thin air, placing it beside him on a non-existing stand. It was a wooden box with several markings carved into it. The black deity patted the box.
"Because this will be my trump card!" [Black Deity]
"Another one of your Demon Lords? You know that I will just allow the humans to summon Heros. And then yet again, you will lose!" [White Deity]
"No! This is something more ancient, something Fate helped me find. Something our ancestors used as the ultimate trump card. But I will not play him yet! I got him locked away in a safe place letting him grow stronger. He is already exceeding my expectations. When he has fully grown he will massacre everyone on Terra. A creature akin to a god, a deity of carnage!" [Black Deity]
"Hmm? You must jest. Fate is the judge a neutral party. He would not help you out... unless... Hmmm, then I guess I need to prepare!" [White Deity]
The white deity reached out with both her hands into the globe and pulled out several white pieces. All the same ones, all high priest of old age and then she whispered in their ears.
"You're going to sacrifice so many high-class pieces for a divine message? Have you gone mad?" [Black Deity]
The white deity put the pieces back into the globe.
"They were all on their deathbeds anyways, this way they will be useful for one last time. Your turn!" [White Deity]
As she said this wariness filled her mind, as the black deity calmly started his turn. Had she gone into a trap?
Terra - Narrators POV:
All over Terra, High Priest's on their deathbeds saw a divine prophecy.
At a specific church located in Nozfernia, a young acolyte ran as fast as he could and opened the gate to the main hall of worship. Where the priests were in the middle of coronating a new High Priest.
"Young boy! What is the meaning of this! How dare you interrupt this holy ceremony!?" [Priest]
"Come quick! The High Priest... I mean the elder has seen a prophecy on his deathbed! It's bad! It's really bad! The end of days is nearing!" [Acolyte]

Binary of Life and Death
Monsters, gold, chaos, glory, adventure, what more could attract two of the greatest players of all time to Sugarea, the most popular MMORPG of its time. But everyone makes errors, and unfortunate for these two brilliant players, they have made the grave mistake of not actually sleeping like normal humans and missed out on the very moment the new Dark Legion update would take effect. Or did they? They wake in what seems familiar yet not, but they soon realize their predicament. They are inside their game avatar's bodies! A half-Demon and a Dragonoid are now struggling with more than just power, these two men have to find their new purpose and calling in a completely different world. Will they concur it like ordinary land or will they enlighten the planet into equality? Do figures pull strings in the dark or is everything open to the public eye? Nothing is certain except the unknown, and nothing is ever as it seems... This is an Isekai story, as such, some parts may sound either cliché or similar to others, but I assure you, I tried to prevent that. To make it known, I took quite a lot of inspiration from the light novel/anime Overlord, but that doesn't mean it's a direct rip-off of it. You'll find there to be quite the amount of differences. Just a little heads up as well, you should expect irregular uploads, as it takes me a long time to write each chapter. I am currently trying for once every other week on Sundays around 10:00 A.M. Chapters are usually 7k words and up, with the longest (chapter 3) being 10.3k words. So, if you like to sit down and read a long chapter every two weeks at 10:00 A.M. EST on Sundays, then you can waste your time here! Small disclaimer: Profanity is far and few between, and mostly used by side characters, rarely the main character. When something with gore happens, I describe to the best of my ability, which will only get better the longer I write this... :) Small cuts between perspectives happen, and can hide what some characters do, which will be revealed in future chapters, I'm not that lazy... all the time... There are some parts that are long blocks of text, most, if not all, of them, are characters talking, but I try not to info dump. I know one of the tags says "Psychological", and for the most part, it is, but it's not as prominent as other stories, instead, it's more hidden and scattered, but I did try to make the pieces I did reveal all fit together. Cover art is bound to be changed when I have a good picture to use, so the Yin-Yang is a placeholder for now unless yall wanna gimme something to use *wink wink nudge nudge*. So yeah, please give it a try, as I have nothing better to do with my life, and I am banking solely off of a career in literature and am hoping that I can create a story that can actually be called something more than a child's imagination running wild. The eventual and inevitable end to the story won't be for a long while, at least till chapter 40 or so. I have thought long and hard about the message and themes at play, so I hope you, the reader (who has some amazing hair btw), can enjoy and partake on this adventure with me into my dark empty pit of an imagination.

Shadowrun: The Wild Fire Tales
Shadowrun: The Wild Fire Tales is a web novel based on the Shadowrun tabletop RPG and video games. It tells the story of one Leon Eagles, formerly known as "Wild Fire", a quick and deadly gunslinger regarded as one of the best "shadowrunners" in North America. If you need someone to perform jobs in the shadows of society such as bodyguard duty, espionage, or even murder, Leon Eagles is the man to call. Together with his allies Sylvia Morrow and Brandon Rivers, Leon fights week-to-week to survive in a world of arcane magic and cutting-edge technology, a world of corporate suits and fire-breathing hellhounds, and a world where some of its biggest ever surprises are still yet to come...... This is my first web novel, brought over from ScribbleHub, and any comments and feedback are appreciated. Unique terms or further in-universe history for those unfamiliar to Shadowrun will be explained upon request, or you can check the ScribbleHub glossary here: https://www.scribblehub.com/series/297362/shadowrun-the-wild-fire-tales/glossary/. I hope non-Shadowrun fans become interested in the Shadowrun world at large, and I hope Shadowrun fans are entertained by my take on this great in-game universe! Midori
The sea of stars. The momentaneous lifeforms that flicker far away. Our futures — a sea brimming with light. Each and every shimmer in the starry canvas serves as one’s infinite opportunities in the vast sea of the future. The world, however, is far from the ideals of such a mantra. Complacency is the enemy of progress, yet to the four known nations, each one sees enemies around their borders. An example: A village isolated from the nation of Alkai prevents the lives of many from progressing. It’ll take a society, a group, even a whipped together rag-tag team to jump start the quest for progress. An escape from a motionless home—in order to search for a greater future, Mira approaches her blade in a new light. Any illustrations I use for covers and chapters are illustrations I have drawn myself unless otherwise stated.
