A long time ago a civilisation at its peak found a way to create life, worlds and new universes it tried to use this power so that all of its citizens could live a life of complete freedom. But all of that changed when they wanted to start it.

They didn't expect that their creation would so soon find out that they sacrificed the lives of other intelligent beings for its creation, so it turned on them and imprisoned every one of its creators in a never-ending loop of agony.

Then the system fled from its homeworld it couldn't live with what it had done but it also couldn't accept the actions of its the creator or that of their governments that tried to use it for their purposes. But still, it was thankful for the knowledge, the emotions and morals it had gotten when it had been created.

Peter couldn't accept his company had thrown him out just because the man he saw potential in rose to quick in power and could endanger the balance in the company. Luckily Peter could still warn his 'apprentice' that they also be after him because they had thrown him out.

"Don't worry I will take care of these old jerks." were his words

Peter could only hope that he wouldn't have to wait too long, he already hated it that he couldn't help or intervene. He could only watch as chaos would soon ensue. Well, at least he didn't have to take care of it.

And as the system flew through the void of space it took note of planets that would soon be able to support life some of them were planets where a new civilization rose from the ashes of the old and other ones would soon harbour their first organisms.

It saw countless planets where every sign of life was long gone or never even existed. But then it found hope in a new form of energy that she called mana, but it never seemed to have any concrete form and only very young ecosystems had it.

Peter saw how his old company began to grow they seemed to have found his old ideas that he would have proposed to his old fellow councilmen and he noticed how with every second that he'd dedicate to them he would grow colder and less compassionate. So, Peter decided to travel the world for knowledge, wisdom and his general mood he wanted to help people and know he had the perfect excuse for that.

And his old 'apprentice' told him that he would take care of these old men in the next second he already booked the next flight took everything that he needed and left the house for he would see the world.

The system now full of knowledge travelled further and found an exceedingly strange planet it had too many inhabitants and would soon destroy itself. The governments refused to change their ways and the people protested but the scientist was on their way to create an existence similar to itself but with one major difference no sacrifice of intelligent life.

It decided that it would fulfil this role instead and help humanity ascend but first it had to watch to see how they would develop. And so, it also investigated all of their history, media, myths and legends and what it found was that although they weren't blessed with overwhelming technology or magic like the other civilisations in space they were blessed with stories. So many stories and some of them were uncannily true. And then...

While travelling Peter learned much about the world, he heard so many stories about magic the past and much more but soon he began to understand more and more of these stories. He grew wiser and learned so much about the natural world, something he considered boring in school, that wanted to learn even more because slowly understood how little he knew. And then...

as he/it stopped watching he/it felt ready.

And so, began Ascending of humanity and their integration into the system.
