---------------------------------------------------------------
“There are two events in the school which happens annually each year regardless of circumstances.
“The first event is the newcomers tournament. It’s held in the arena and the prizes are very good for new cultivators. Even to cultivators who have graduated, they hold value.
“The prizes are everything from glory points to special privileges or even private apprenticeship to eccentric teachers.
“Well, technically the private apprenticeships are not prizes as they are something totally unrelated to the competition in itself. But if you impress the some teachers or make them take interest in you, they might want to apprentice you. And since the most common occurrence of apprenticeship is at the tournament, it can be seen as such.
“And I can ensure you as eccentric as they are, if they deem you worthy, they will impart everything they know to you…” As Garion said the last sentence sadness was shown in his eyes, “They will do anything to protect you…”
“The second event is simply called “survival training. It encompasses all students in all classes and is made to be a training where they are to survive in the wilderness for one month.
“There will be a ranking at the end of the month which displays all students and ranks them according to whom gathered most beast beads... Garion said before abruptly stopping.
“Boy, do you know what beast beads are?” Garion asked him not knowing wether Philip knew or not.
“Yes, I actually got some on my way here from the beast I killed.” Philip answered. he had no idea if he should be proud or not – he had after all, no idea what the general strength was of cultivators in his age group.”

“Okay, well, killing beasts and selling their beast beads to the school is one of the most efficient way to gain glory points, their skin, fur or scales, may also hold some value for different jobs, such as blacksmiths, alchemists and so on.
“Anyways, about the second annual event, the last thing you need to know is that there are no rules in wilderness – that allows killing
“Well, of you go, get to room 765, it will be yours until the new semester begins.”
Garion urged Philip off after pointing out where he should go on the map given to Philip by the guard as well as giving him the room key he needed.
He took off and went to room 765 by following the map.
…….
The room was quite spacious but only covered the necessary things human cultivators needed, which is to say – nothing
The room was completely completely empty.
“Well, It’s not like i need anything else at the moment” he said and sat down on the floor and started to meditate, focusing on increasing his connection with his star.
Strengthening his connection with his asteroid typ star wouldn’t really yield any results until he got a technique but it was better than nothing and either way, his body was very sore from the journey so he couldn’t to strength training.
It was the first time in years after embarking on the journey that he could finally relax, his whole being letting go of the defensive posture.
As such, the months gradually passed as it was time for the new semester of the celestial academy to start.
…….
He had spent these months with quiet meditation, strength training and most of all the longing to select a technique to study in the library, he really wanted to become stronger.

It was finally time for the his enrollment in the academy and it made him very excited. Today was the the day.
He went out of his room and its dormitory.
He was instructed by the headmaster to go to classroom 1D where his class were to gather.
He came to the classroom, took a deep breath and went in.
The classroom was filled with young people. Some of them had extravagant clothes and proud looks on their faces.
He guessed that they were sons or daughters from wealthy families.
He say down in the middle of the classroom.
Suddenly a guy on his right stretched out his hand, “Yo, I’m Lucas, what’s your name?”
Philip took Lucas’s hand, rather shocked by this straightforward guy. The guy, Lucas, had blonde hair and a big smile. Somehow, even with his crude face, Philip believed that Lucas was rather popular with the girls.
“I’m Philip, nice to meet you!” He was guide happy as he said that, he made his first friend in the academy.
…….
“Hello students of class 1D, my name is Sandra and I’ll be the teacher in charge of your class as you stay in the academy.
“Compared to other schoolsoft this academy is quite different. We don’t have any regular schedule, it’s completely up to each of the students to decide how they want to spend their time.
“The crux is however that the students of the academy whom doesn’t perform good enough, are not allowed to stay.
“So I this as your teacher, perform well or I will personally remove you” The students in class 1D all felt chill crawl up on their spines.
“Well well, i hope we can have a good time here together and I hope you all will enjoy yourselves!” Her smile was very bright and enthusiastic but her new students only saw a scary grin upon thinking about the consequences of bad performance.

He remembers everything. And that's a problem. As others fight for survival, he remembers how most of them, himself included, should not even deserve to have a second chance. In a strange new world, as he fights his own demons, he is faced with new ones whose names he does not even know. But giving up is not inside his DNA and fight on he must. For to stop is to die, and to die means he failed, failed himself and all those who still desperately need him.***The Author's Note:This is another in the Core series, the first one being The Wardens of Destiny while there is also a side story The Memoires of Eisen that's exclusive on Patreon for those who would like to support me.The Recordings of Raan occurs after the events in The Wardens of Destiny, and it's a separate thread from the main story. Among other things, I separated it into a new book as it has elements of progressive LitRPG and a fantasy-world setting.Since I'll keep on writing The Wardens of Destiny, this will be one of my side-projects. Eventually in the future, I plan to integrate some of the protagonists in this story with the main storyline.

(Re)Install
After his death, Garry, AKA Gaz, is summoned by a nameless goddess to another world and tasked with a very important mission, the main characters sets out to travel around in search of a way to accomplish his objectives and live happily ever after. The catch? The mission is to save the same goddess, who've been sealed away for all eternity in who knows where. Having little to no energy left, she was unable to create a decent blessing, so Gaz is left with a weak body in a savage world that he knows nothing about. Also, did i mention he wasn't reincarnated as a human? Neither as a beast? Well...His actual body might actually not be that bad. As long as he survives the first day, of course.-------------Okay, some of you might know from Insania Online, some don't, so might as well explain it here. This is a Re: (ish) style story, with a Scifi (ish) setting and some fantasy (ish) assets (precision is overrated). This is kind of a side project I will work while I take a break from insania. This is a crazy idea i had thanks to a certain game's trailer, and decided to write it. Even if it starts fairly serious, it will probably have a lot of wacky comedy, so don't say you haven't been warned and don't try to take it too seriously. Really. If you are expecting a dramatic and heavy story, this is very probably not what you want(who knows? I'm just starting it...).

Unique Fusion Magic Hex
World Essence. The mysterious energy coursing throughout the entire land of Vor'ten, and very possibly the entire world. This energy has allowed humanity to flourish, building great empires and vast kingdoms, conquering nature itself with just a sweep of their hand. Humans were the strongest existence, and with the help of channeling this World Essence, many were able to turn into Magic Knights, gaining magical abilities to combat the various fierce beasts throughout the lands.Alas... those glory days of old were long gone. Humanity has now been pushed to the brink of destruction, and now the remaining members of the human race are encased within giant domes known as 'Alkkras', made with the last remaining bits of the World Essence. It was said that those giant domes were the last gifts left by the remnants of the ancient human race, as a means to protect the future generation from the attacks of the many wild beasts roaming outside. Five Spiritualist Invokers, all combined together, used the last bit of the World Essence and sacrificed their lives to lay a gigantic, 1028-seal formation magic array to form these barriers, forever saving humanity, but also trapping humanity within these barriers. However, the humans were never completely helpless. No matter how little World Essence was left, the humans still had some remaining. Realizing the incoming crisis, the humans found a way to seal World Essence inside a special type of crystal. Soon, these crystals began to become implanted into weapons, turning them into World Essence Weapons, and they began to display properties of their own. Extreme heat. Bone chilling cold. Absurd sharpness. These normal weapons, after being imbued with the energy of the World Essence Crystals, began to form natural affinities to elements. Fire. Water. Earth. Wind. Darkness. Light. Using these weapons, one could become a Chevalier that wielded the power of the elements. However, if one wanted to reach a higher level of enlightenment and understanding, one could become an Invoker. Via the study of magic array formations, one could directly use the power of the World Essence to cast devastating magics upon the enemy. These people were Invokers, highly valued for their combat potential by the Army. These weapons and magical arrays were used in the great fight between the humans and the beasts long ago. They had long since been put away in storage, almost long forgotten...However, after ten-thousand years of suppression, the human race is beginning its counterattack against the Beasts... Synth was an Invoker in the Magecroft Academy. However, his talent was terrible, being only at the Spark Stage. This led to him being looked down upon and bullied. He was unable to cast any Calamity-rank or even Destruction rank spells, and was only able to cast Coalescing rank spells at the age of 17, a record low in the academy for cultivating these rare Invokers. Even though he put in more effort than anyone else, he was still unable to advance his Channeling Energy. But due to his constant research and study, Synth ended up creating a power that would go against the heavens - he had found how to Fuse spells together. After trying it out once, merging the magical array for the Small Fireball and the Mortal Judgement skills, he was able to create a mid-rank Destruction tier spell, Holy Judgement Flame. However, after this, no matter how hard he tried, he was unable to fuse more spells together or even cast them, and noticed a weird, pentagram shaped formation on his left arm. He would later call this mark the Fusion Magic Hex, a curse that prevented the wielder from casting magic that wasn't their own...This meant that with the exception of Synth's newly created skill, , he was going to have to create unique magic arrays if he ever wanted to step on the path of becoming an Invoker! This power that destroyed the laws of the Invoking System, and his unyielding persistence in testing and creating new spells, would later gain Synth the nickname the Unique Fusion Hex, and lead him to become one of the strongest beings in the entire World!
