"Damn.. if Exios would try to fight me i would quickly quit on being a Knight Guard"

"Just don't get on his bad side! I heard he is really intimidating. He likes being alone"

"Here ya go boys! Enjoy!" Said a lady with light caramel hair and yellow eyes.

"Oh thanks there lady!"

"Damn well.. she's a pretty one."

"Yeah, right? She owns this tavern. I always stop here just so i can see her hehehe."

"Man. I think you need to give up. She won't like you anyway."

"Hey-"

"H-hey man. Why is.. Exios here?"

Exios sits on a chair alone. He was soak wet.

"I-i never thought he would come here!"

The Lady goes to Exios.

"Hello! Welcome to Teayah's Tavern, what would you like to order?"

"H-he.. doesn't speak. Like always."

"Ugh.. why is he here if he's not going to speak?"

"Uhm.. sir? Your order?"

"He's not even looking at the lady?!"

"Damn. He really is rude."

Exios keeps looking at something else and ignores the lady.

"... sir?"

The lady takes a deep breathe and closes her eyes..

"Haaa.. hoo.."

Her eyes then widen up.

"Listen here sir. I am trying to be gentle with you. Would you please give me your order? If you do not order something then. Leave."

"oohh... damn."

"i think Exios won't like that.."

Exios stands up.

The lady then was startled.

"S-so? Are you gonna leave or..?"

Exios pushes the lady, making her almost fall.

"Hey! What the hell?!"

"Found you, piece of shit!" Exios exclaimed.

He then started going after a man that was drinking. He lifts his hand that turned into a fist and..

BAM!

"what.. the.. HELL?!" The woman exclaimed. She was schocked about what happened.

The man, who got punched by Exios, was on the floor unconscious. His mouth started bleeding and his cheek was red.

The woman then started walking towards Exios.

"Hey!" Shouted the woman.

Exios turns around and..

Slap!

"WHAAAAT!?" the boys at the background exclaimed.

"What. In the world. Do you think you are DOING?! Hurting an innocent man?! Just like that?! Why would you do that?! Can't you see he was just minding his own business?"

"man i don't think i can watch this. T-this is too much" said one of the boys at the background.

Exios took a deep breathe and carried the man. In poor words. He ignored her.

"What the fuck?! You can't just leave after what you did?! And where are you taking that man?!"

Exios stops and turns around.

"Sorry." He said it in a emotionless way. As if he didn't care.

He then proceeds on going outside the tavern.

"Seriously?! Hey you guys!" She turns around at the boys.

"Aren't you knight guards from the emperial palace?! Aren't you going to stop him??"

"W-well.. he is.. a knight guard"

"What?! This.. is.. Bulshit!"

The lady then goes out from the tavern and tries to search for Exios. It was raining that day. She sees a man carrying a man afar.

"Hey! Stop!"

She tries to run to them.

"I told you to stop!"

And then.. she sees Exios putting the man on the ground and cuffing him.

"God why are you fast?!"

As she finally reaches him she was about to grab his shoulder when..

Slap!

An elderly woman, with an adult man by her side, slapped the man that Exios punched earlier.

"You.. filthy bastard! How could you?! How could you do that to my poor.. cries to my poor Herna? She died because of you! She died.. cries because of you.."

The man that was standing at the elderly woman's side also started to tear up.

"what.. is goin on?" Said tha lady confused.

"You.. should have seen her face. Her face was so soft... and she was begging me to let her go.. haahaa.. i.. i wanted to do it again.. i.. i wanted to kill another one.. the one at the tavern.. yes.. her.."

Exios punches the man.

"Herna.. oh god.. my baby.. i'm so sorry.. cries"

The lady then realized.. that her life has been saved. And that.. the culprit has been caught. In shock the lady falls down. Exios turns around to see the lady sitting on the wet floor.

"Excuse me, but could the young man help this woman?"

The man that was by the elderly woman's side tries to help the Lady.

While Exios carries the unconscious man and walks away.

'i.. i was.. going to die..?' The lady thinked. She then took a glance at Exios walking away..

'he.. he was trying to stop the culprit.. and i.. i just.. slapped him.'

The next day, at the training ground

"That was damn exhausting.."

"Yeah.. but look.. Exios is still training.."

Shiing! Ching!

"Man.. his body is already big, why does he have to train that hard?"

"Let's go, the trainings are done anyway."

Exios was left all alone, still training by himself.

"Sir Exios?"

But then a maid appeared. Exios stopped and looked at the maid.

"There is someone who wants to see you.."

'It must be the elderly lady..' Exios thinked.

In front of Exios there was the Lady from the tavern.

"Oh! Hi!" Said the lady.

Exios looked at her emotionless.

"Yeah.. uh.. i just wanted to thank you.. for yesterday.." She smiled.

"I also wanted to apoligize.. about the slap and the.. yelling."

"I didn't know that he was.. a muderer.."

"..."

"So.. uh.. i made this for you." She gave him a lunch box.

The lady was waiting for him to take it, which took a couple of seconds.

"Uh.. i swear it's not poison"

Finally Exios took the lunch box.

"If that's all i'm going back."

"uh.. wait!"

Exios turned around.

"My name is Leanna.. Please come and visit the tavern. It would make me happy" smiles

And so.. days goes by. Leanna visits Exios every day...

"Please come by.."

"Oh i made a cake this time!"

"how are you doing?"

"The tavern is doing great!"

"Would you like to visit the cliff of the barner's area?"

Exios, still giving her an emotionless face, he still accepted her gifts.

Until one day...

Exios goes outside by himself.. thinking that Leanna was late. She didn't come to visit Exios for about 3 days.

"Oh? Uh.. we are close. Please-" Leanna looked at the door and saw Exios standing right beside the door.

"U-uh- Exios?!" Leanna shouted. She didn't see it coming, especially from a man that has been "avoiding" her.

"W-what are you doing here? cough cough"

"..."

"Ah! Right.. Let me put on a scarf so that i won't be able to infect you!" Leanna gets a scarf and puts it on her neck, covering her mouth.

"Uhm.. what are you doing here..?"

Exios walks closer to Leanna and..

He stretches his arms. He was giving her something.

"W-what is this?"

"..it's medicine.."

For the first time. Leanna could hear Exios's voice.

She was shocked.

While Exios was waiting for her to take the medicine.

"..It's not poison.."

"p-poison? ppf- PUAAHAHHA!" Leanna laughed.

She puts her hands to cover her face while laughing.

"Sorry it's just that.. continues laughing it's just- cough cough"

But then she started coughing really bad.

Exios gently grabs one of Leanna's hand, which she was trying to cover her face with it, and lifts it slowly. He leans towards her to see if she was doing okay, after coughing so hard.

Their eyes met.

"..."

" cough cough " Leanna steps back and she took her hand off quickly from Exios's.

"I-i don't want you to get infected. T-thanks for the medicine!" She grabs the medicine quickly.

After that.. they started meeting frequently. Exios slowly opens up and.. was changing. Exios was still one of the best knights, but the emperor regcognized his talent and decided to make him a warrior.

The emperor adored Exios and Exios was loyal to the emperor.

Leanna and Exios fell inlove and got together. Years later...

"Hello, i came here to meet with Exios? Is he here?" Asked the man. The man had a black purple coat with a dark purple hat.

" Oh. uh..I'll go get him.. who are you? If i may ask."

"Oh, sorry. That was rude of me. Let me introduce myself." The man takes his hat off. He had dark brown hair, almost red, and grey eyes.

"I'm Clarkson, and i'm Exios's partner." Clarkson smiled.

"aah, yes. I've heard about you. Nice to meet you, i'm Leanna Exios's wife."

"Ohh, i finally got to meet you. Exios keeps telling us, whenever we are at the Emperial Palace, how he misses you and his son ahah."

"Oh, haha. I'll go get him now, please take a seat."

Exios arrives..

"Clarkson?"

"Exios, hey." he smiled.

"You should have told me that you were coming. What are you doing here anyways?"

"I came to tell you something important."

"Okay? Let me grab you something to drink-"

"No, Exios. It's code Nix." He smiled.

Exios's eyes widens while Leanna was confused.

"Uh.. Leanna i'll be back.. i need to go to the empire."

Exios kisses Leanna on the forehead and takes his coat. Exios and Clarkson both left the tavern..

"After that.. i didn't come back for about 3 weeks as i was assigned on a mission at the Endo Area of Ephamour Empire. The mission was serious since.. some enemy invaded in that area."

As the horse couldn't calm down Exios falls down and the horse runs away.

Exios gets up and starts running.

Leanna opens the door, the door of his son's bedroom.

With the candle that she lighted.. there wasn't a sight of Laith.

"Laith?! Where are you??"

Leanna goes down the stairs and gets back to the tavern..

This time.. She sees someone. Someone the size of her son's size.

Leanna goes near him and.. with the light of the candle..

"Laith! There you are!"

Laith was standing there, still. He.. wasn't even looking at his mom. He was looking up.

"Laith? Honey? Are you okay? What are you looking at?"

Suddenly..

Laith started coughing.. blood. There was blood in his mouth.

Leanna saw the blood and her eyes widens up.

Laith falls down and Leanna catches him.

Leanna was in panick. She didn't know why his son had blood in his mouth.

She started tearing up.

"Laith.. Laith.. dear.. wake up.. Laith? O-open your eyes.."

She touches his cheeks. She felt his body.. cold.

"W-what happened to you- w-what-"

Her tears dropped onto Laith's closed eyes.. and slowly falls down.

Leanna screams in pain. She didn't know what to do.

Suddenly.. Bam! Someone opened the door..

Exios opens the taverns front door.. and he saw Leanna laying on the ground.. bleeding. While his son was nowhere to be found..

He lifts up the spoon and eats the soup.

We ate silently that night. Silently peaceful..

Days got by and i still had no information about my parents nor i regained my memories. For the past week i continued to help mister Exios at his tavern, also explored the city a bit more.

Lady Crimson now, every night, visits us. The men apologized to me and started drinking at the tavern again.

I started liking it. It was very fun.

Exios looks at the door.

"Hello mister Exios."

"Doctor Erfen.."

"How have you been doing? You and Liliana" Asked Doctor Erfen while sitting on the chair

"We are doing great"

"Where is Liliana?"

"She's in her room.. upstairs. Still sleeping, like always."

"Yes, she wakes up at 14 pm every afternoon. I don't know if it's, as you said, the body that is resting or.. something else"

"Exios.. i discovered something really big and interesting.. which means you will have two options here."

"What? What kind of options?"

"Mister Exios.. before i say those two options let me talk about what i have discovered after the scanning of Liliana.."

Doctor Erfen fixes his glasses.

" It's.. something that i have never seen before. I thought that my machine was broken, but it resulted the same results.. The thing is.. That kid has something inside her.."

"Something inside her? So she has a tumor or?"

"No. It's.. the Coris."

"Coris?.. i heard that before.. i can't remember where or when.."

"Mister Exios.. the Coris.. is something that every Lycoris has. Like the royal bloods. They have the coris inside them because they have the power of that lycoris."

"That's right. He has the Violet Lycoris's Coris."

"Wait. Are you saying that Liliana has the violet Coris?"

"No. Not the Violet one, i think. It's complicated since i can't identify what type of coris it is."

Exios puts his hands on his head.

"Mister Exios. I still need more information about her so that i can completely know everything about that is going to happen. But she is terribly dangerous.. that's why you need to make 2 choices."

Exios looks at Doctor Erfen.

"Are you going to keep that child and raise her, even knowing the consequences or.. kill her now while her coris is still getting ready?"
