《Playtime》Part two: Min Yoongi chapter eight

Savanna Henderson.
Even the mention of her name brought untameable desires. Desires that took control and sucked every ounce of logic out of my mind. I smirked as my group ranted about how she's not meant to be here. How she was suppose to be dead, but one thing they didn't know. Marking someone property to the demon, kept them alive for as long as I needed her. Crossing my arms, I leaned against the wall as Jimin paced.
"This isn't good!" he screamed. "The devil wants her now!" Screw the Devil. I thought. She belongs to me. I was about to say something when I felt the strong connection with Savanna break. I stagger back as the air smacked me in the face. "What's wrong with you?"
Hunger. Desire. It all consumed me. I couldn't feel me anymore. I felt the demon. The dark desires of him, taking over. I clutch my head as I sink to the ground as the throbbing in my head escalated. I shake my head as the voices continued.
'Find her'. They taunted. 'She can be yours.' I clutch the wall, hoping to stop the demon from showing. I knew I couldn't though. One word echoed in the room, clashing with the mixed colors.
Hunger. I had to find her. I found the pain unbearable, unliveable. I forced myself as the dark thoughts clouded my head. I turn to the group who backed up.
"Min yoongi?" Namjoon asked slowly. I shake my head.
"The bond. It broke. She had that twit of an angel remove the mark!" I screamed shoving a table over, pushing the contents all over the floor. The group scurried away as I felt the hunger take over. "I need her back! She belongs to me." There was a chuckle before Jungkook shoved his way through the crowd.

"Why are you so worried?" he taunted making my anger boil over. "You don't love her."
I rub my head as the voices continue. "I don't need love," I say groaning in pain. "Demons can't love." I take a step and plummet to the hard wooden floor beneath me. I quiver as I notice everything turn a blood red. My demon was taking over. I clench my fists as I used my remaining energy to get up and run to her room.
I burst the door open, panting heavily as the red darkened. I notice it empty, making the desire and hunger increase. The further she got away from me, the more I wanted her.
"____ it!" I yell pounding the wall before I collapse. I couldn't keep my humanity anymore. I wanted her; needed her. I push myself up as I felt the darkness finally consume me. I felt a sudden calmness overwhelm me. Her face, her smile. It was all that I needed to track her. "Look out, princess." I say turning to the group.
"The demon boys are coming." Taehyung says smirking and wiping his lips. I nod and smirk as the red covered the room.
"And we are going to have a little fun."

A Hunt Upon Wings of Shadows
Lianne has spent the last few years of her life as a nomadic monster-hunter, aimlessly taking jobs and disappearing without a trace. Her innately high ether reserves are the only thing that’s keeping her alive. After a painful yet successful contract, she receives an offer to hunt a peculiar beast from a mysterious man who- much to her dismay- pairs her with a man by the name of Sirius, a skilled swordsman with too much empathy to give out. At the same time, inside the impossibly tall walls of the divine city, a group of soldiers including a naive yet powerful girl by the name of Felicia, an exemplar soldier named Raynauld, and a scarred and aloof woman named Maria prepare to head out on a mission to deliver justice to a deserter who is reported to be in a large town far outside the lush interior of the city. However, the two groups will find that their paths will intertwine, and painful memories will push them against each other at every turn, with new monsters emerging from the shadows to pick each of them apart piece by piece. ************************** Alright, so this is the first book I've posted here, and I've been sitting on this idea for a long while. I'm open to any pieces of criticism, and I would be glad to receive tips and advice. Enjoy! Normally, new chapters come out Saturday nights, sometimes double uploads if there's a short chapter or if I feel like it. That's subject to change if I run out of the current backlog. Second note, this is the first draft, and some things (like a few characters) are going to be cut. It's still going to be the same storyline, but keep that in mind.

Molting the Mortal Coil
Reincarnated as a child in a new world a mild mannered programmer, named Sage, finds himself struggling to survive. The road to immortality is paved with danger, treasure, and conflict. This mystical eastern world is filled with Demonic Beasts, Treacherous Cultivators, and Extraordinary Legacies. Follow Sage on his journey to adapt to this new world, and find out if he can overcome the limitations of body, mind, and soul. Will he rise to the occasion and become a hero? Or maybe he'll turn to the dark side and end up a villain? Molting the Mortal Coil is more of a slower paced journey. It's not about endless battles and conquering the next bad guy who spits on the main characters shoes or sends him a funny look. There's also not a treadmill of tournaments or love interests. It's more of a slower burn with lots of, and hopefully not too much, world building. It's still supposed to be stuffed with action, but that won't pick up for a while since we start with a weakling. The first 30 chapters have a lot of time-skipping, but stay with me it gets better. I plan to re-write and add more to the first 30 in the future, but if you can push through I feel it gets much more fun after! Updates will be weekly.
