I'm watching two moving men carry in the pod I ordered off the internet. If you asked me, it kind of looks like a pill that you swallow, I heard some people had their custom built for them so they look cool I just got a standard one.

They place it against one of my small bedroom walls.

"Alright, all there, sir. Do you need help setting up?"

"No, thank you."

I take what’s left of my paper money out of my wallet and hand it to the older man of the pair, he smiles at me then leaves.

I spend the next twenty minutes setting everything up with the pod.

Once it's all done I hope in.

"Activate."

The next thing I see is a lot of rainbow colors then I'm inside what looks like to be a white room with no details.

So, this is how the game starts by assessing me. I heard it's to decide which one of the 62 gods will be my overseer. The gods as they're known in the game are actually the incredibly advanced A.I's that decide everything that happens in the game.

There is a flash of light in front of me once it's gone in its place is a huge crow the size of a fully grown person. I know this god ,its name is Fernell it's the god of shadow so that means he controls or the shadow effects in the game.

"Welcome, Player to Elemental Online. I and the other gods have assessed you in every detail we now can accept you into Zion but first, we need you to make some decisions."

I enter my chosen name then I click on the race button and start scrolling my options.

Race options

Goblin: Short green creatures that have pointy ears and green skin that are slightly related to elves. They all live in caves for their fear of sunlight. Perks: 0.5 minus strength 0.5 plus growth. Evolution: Hobgoblin

Elves:One of the oldest races ever, this means they are incredibly intelligent. They all live inside of forest meaning they are close to nature. Perks: 2.0 plus all wind skills 1.5 minus growth. Evolution: Grand Elf

Demon: Similar to elves they are very ancient and have pointy ears they also have horns that extend from their foreheads. They mostly live in dark ash lands that suit their needs. Perks: 1.0 resistance to fire 0.5 minus to holy weapons. Evolution: Skull Demon

Dwarfs: Small creatures are around the same height as goblins. Their main way of trade is in weapon and armor smithery since the live underground close to the ores they need for forging. Perks: 1.5 plus strength 1.0 minus water skills. Evolution: Dwarf Commander

Dragonoid: Beings that only have inherited the dragon's blood but have not taken the full form of a dragon. They are the only race to have tails and scales in Zion. Perks: 2.5 plus in speed 3.0 minus in growth. Evolution: Dragon Overlord

Nightingale: A race of winged humanoids, said to be related to Angels. With their beauty, exquisite voices and nomadic nature, they are well known as bards and dancers. They are pretty rare and they are able to live on any location as long as they have companions. Perks: 3.5 plus in speed 5.0 minus in independence. Evolution: Kinara.

Lesser Homunculus: A race created by other races. They are close to humanoid except they have completely white skin and red eyes .When they were first created, they were used to test drugs and other poisons. There were also attempt to use them as clones for real people but it was never successful. They now just roam the world. Perks: 1.0 plus all stats, 5.0 minus poison resistance. Evolution: Greater Homunculus.

The entire room swirls with rainbow colors then a mirror rises from the floor I see my real body the 28-year-old university dropout who can only find part-time work.

“Now, you can make you character look however you want.”

I change my black hair to white. Next, I get rid of my half beard make my face look about 7 years younger and get rid of the bags under my eyes. I look like my old self when I was in uni besides the white hair.

“Are you happy with your decisions?”

Again, I click the yes button.

“This appearance will be changed to suit your race perfectly if it needed to be. Alright, Before anything else, would you like for your bank account to be transferred over to the game?”

I don’t like it but for my purpose I have too. I click yes.

“Now for the most important part to decide your element.”

Element is the most important thing in the game unlike most games there are no different classes instead every person has an element that decides what skills you can use and what they are resistant to it decides nearly everything in the game.

“Now, let’s get to your element.”

A big white sphere as big as my head appears in front of me it begins to turn around fast as rainbow colors shine off of it.

I watch as the sphere continues to spin around and rainbow colors shine off it after awhile the sphere starts to slow down and I can see each color moving slowly the sphere is just about to stop.

Sirens start going off all around the room and red lights start blazing all around me.

A large door made of fire appears in the side of room a figure made out of blue flames walks out.

“Begone, you evil spawn!”

Fernell starts to fly then shoots of beams of dark energy. A wall of fire protects the figure then chains shoot out from the wall of fire the wrap around Fernell and bring him crashing to the ground.

The figure walks over to me, I can’t move. I don’t know why, maybe out of fear that this figure could ruin everything for me right here, right now or maybe the figure has done something so I can’t move I don’t know. All I do know is that I’m at his mercy.

The figure stands in front of me, his hand touches my chest. I feel a warm sensation enter through my entire body.
