I heard my mother talking at me and looked around
“Mom! Is that you? Where are you? I can't see you?”
“I'm right here Yuuto, just listen to what I have to say-”
I interrupted her out of confusion
“Mom! Am I in heaven already? Is that how you’re talking to me?”
She got pissed about what I said and shouted
“YOU GOING TO HEAVEN! AS IF I'M GOING TO ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN YOU DIMWIT! I BETTER NOT SEE YOU HERE FOR ATLEAST ANOTHER 70 YEARS! GOT IT! “
I replied to her like a soldier talking to a higher officer out of habit like in the past
“Yes Ma’am”
”If you come with me to heaven whose going to take care of Kaede and your stupid father. Those two can't do anything without you”
“Then why are you here if I'm not in heaven?”
“I just came here to give you the push you need in life. I saw how your future plays out and boy is it exciting. There's no way I'm letting my son come with me when he has such a happy future ahead of him”
“What do you mean by that?”
“You'll find out soon so don't worry. My time is running out so I'll keep it simple…“
Time? What does she mean by that?
”…First tell that stupid love-struck husband of mine to get over me and marry another women. He's getting old and needs a woman to take care of him. So tell him to throw his sentiments in the trash and find a mother who will love Kaede just like her own daughter. The only good point about him is his good looks so finding a woman won't be hard for him”

“You’re even dissing him from heaven. You really are my mother”
She then shouted because of her short fuse to any comments about her saying
”OF COURSE I'M YOUR MOTHER! DID YOU THINK I WAS SOME RANDOM GHOST!?”
She's scary as ever
“Sorry-Sorry! You can continue”
“Next tell my favourite child Kaede that-”
“Favourite child! Is that something a mother should say to her children?”
“JUST SHUT UP YOUR TRAP AND LET ME SPEAK!”
Just like in the past, her scary tone made me shut up instantly. My mother when she's angry was the only thing that ever scared me. She would turn into a demon if anyone pissed her off and you better hope you’re not on the receiving end
”Now.…Tell my angel Kaede that she's become a beautiful and strong young girl and will always be happy wherever she goes. I'm so happy that she's not a cry-baby anymore and can stand up for herself now. Also tell her to stop eating junk food, go to sleep on time, not to watch too much TV and boys are all wolf's in-”
“Hahaha!”
“Why are you laughing? What’s so funny?”
“No it's just that I was saying the exact same thing before. We really are mother and son”
“Of course we think alike; after all you’re my son. You’re also the one who resembles me the most in the family”
I wonder about that. Kaede is the one who resembles my mother. The only thing I got from her, is her mean look
”You don't have to worry about that stuff since I'm there to take care of her”
“Oh right. I forgot about that. You've become a really reliable brother haven't you?”
“Well I do have to keep the promise we made”

“I'm glad you remember. Then tell her that wherever she may be I'll always be watching and protecting her so she doesn't have to feel lonely without me. Tell her I love her with all my heart and will always be by her side. Also tell her that mama is proud of her for not wetting the bed anymore”
I chuckled
“I'm not sure how she'll react to the last part”
”And you Yuuto. I'm so happy that my little Yuuto has become such a handsome and reliable man that he's willing to sacrifice himself to save someone. I'm proud of you Yuuto and I always will be. Although you've gone through some harsh moments in your life, you've never given up on your dream and are still are pursuing it. With that much dedication I'm sure it will come true. Don't mind what others might say about you, since you'll meet people in the future who will see you for who you truly are. You'll always be the precious baby boy that I held in my hands that day, so don't forget that I'll always love you and support you no matter what you decide to do. Never change who you are and continue to protect your loved ones like you've been doing all these years and your life will definitely change for the better“
*bell sounds*
A bell?
”Oh I guess my time has run out. I'll have to go now”
Huh? She's going? After all these years I meet her and that's all?
I frantically shouted
“Mom! Where are you going?! Don't leave me!”
She then gently said
“I'm not going anywhere Yuuto. I'll always be with all three of you. The only one who's going somewhere is you, back to where you belong. Now I'll be pushing you on the count of three”
“No wait mom!”
“One..”
“I still want to talk to you!”
“Two..”
“Please don't go!”
!!!
At the third count I could finally see my mother floating behind me. She was as beautiful as the last day I saw her, wearing the same white one piece dress. She then opened her mouth and said her final words
“Don't forget to name your future restaurants after me like you promised…”
She then gave her big old smile that would always comfort me whenever I was sad in the past and finally said
“Bye Yuuto”
I knew I could only say one thing to her at that moment
“Bye mom. I'm the luckiest in the world to have been your son. I love you”
She then placed her warm hands on my back and pushed me forward
She quickly started to fade away with a smiling face after she pushed me but just had enough time to pat my head before she completely disappeared
“Thank you mom. Thank you for giving me this second chance at life. I'll live it to the fullest just like you said”

Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Soon after Gladys gets too old to take care of O'Malley, she gives him to Randy and Jan, the next owners. They have O'Malley as the only car they have to drive until he met Susie, a Mercury Grand Marquis and a blue van. Then comes along Erik and Nathan, the two additions that he meets. O'Malley plays and makes Nathan smile by the time he reaches 2 years old. Leading Nathan up the road to learning, O'Malley guides his new master through a home schooling system to keep him on track. As many years went by, O'Malley soon is passed on to Nathan's care and being a planned college subject of a college sememster work of having his transmission redone. When Nathan meets his new girlfriend, Natalie, O'Malley grows a liking on her just as she is showing her photos of O'Malley that she captured on camera in 2014 and 2015. He soon finds answers for all the questions he had been always asking from finding out what happened to Impa to discovering the location of where Gonzo was to opening up to a friend back that seemed to be next to him all these years. O'Malley and his friends make videos for the internet from a pickle and white flour bath to the Elvis impersonations to honor the Elvis Presley feastival for all Elvis fans around the world. The three friends have a lot of fun together including pranking each other for kicks and laughs. Ticking back in time, O'Malley tells the audiences the memories he had back to his younger days when he and his cousins would prank each other and laugh at it now as he remembers it then. From the happy to sad stories that he experiences throughout the novel. People stop and stare at the beauty of O'Malley's sleek body all over town including taking pictures of him without his knowing. The story has yet to unwrap the secrets inside of O'Malley outside the car shows. There are hints of originality, heart, tranquility, untapped potential, undisturbed sensational zen, and undiscovered twerks that make him so amazing that people don't see nor don't pay attention to like they do in the show. O'Malley has a smooth, witty, sweet and relaxed personality. O'Malley travels down the road of memorable experiences from being in a sample teaser trailer of a movie to meeting a new love to finding another of his old friend from the 70s to meeting a life coach that would be his biggest inspiration. This is a novel that needs to be discovered for all eyes alike.
