After a few weeks after the mating , I find myself often thinking back on how it all began. But I can't dwell for long, the guys have been keeping very occupied.

Especially at night, I just can't seem to get enough of them. But something's been troubling me, and I think the guys are starting to notice...

"What's wrong?" Xavier asked coming out of the bathroom.

Well I thought I was alone for starters

"Nope I was just in the bathroom" he said, a glimmer in his eye.

"How did you-?", I asked confused but my confusion only made the glimmer in his eyes grow brighter.

I didn't say that out loud did I? I was sure the words never left my lips

"No they didn't" he said with one of the biggest grins I've ever seen on him.

I thought for a moment, watching the expressions on Xaviers face change with each new thought, then it finally hit me. Longer than I would have liked, probably because I just woke up.

"You can read my mind. How?" I asked carefully.

"Mate bond cupcake", he replied.

That makes no sense, just because we're bonded doesn't mean you get to freely read my mind and if that was true why can't I read yours?

I asked in my head wanting to test this theory before I fully got offended.

"You can read ours but it just takes some practice for you because your human", He explained.

"But that's such an invasion of privacy! Is there a way I can bloke you out?" I asked getting angry and slightly desperate.

Xavier narrowed his eyes at me, " Why is there something your trying to hide from me mate?"

"No" I deadpan

"Then why do you want to shield your thoughts?"He questions, almost like he's accusing me of something.

"Because that's an invasion of my privacy, not everything I think I want you to know!"

This made Xavier think for a minute, he seemed to be going back and forth between something before he settle on it.

"Okay, I'll show you how to shield your thoughts... you have to visualize putting a wall up inside your mind", He said

I closed my eyes and visualized putting up a big brick wall, it was weird I could almost feel like I was alone in my thoughts again. I let out a sigh of relief, my thoughts are my own once again. I look back over at Xavier, before I looked away and proceeded to attempt to get off of the bed, key word attempt.

Every move I made sent a spark of pain to my lower region.

If this is the after effect of mating I'm debating whether or not it's really worth it

I tried not to grimace, knowing that in a second Xavier would be all over me like a cheap suit. But when I threw both of my legs off the side of the bed I could hide the grimace or the whimper of pain.

And just like I thought Xavier was beside me in a second,"What's wrong?" He asked

"Nothing, nothing at all, not a thing", I said trying to muster up my best fake smile.

"Has anyone ever told you you're a terrible liar cupcake ?" He asked humor clearly evident in his voice.

"Alright! I'm a little sore... you know... down there", I quietly said.

I watched as Xaviers face went from one of concern to that of confusion and finally understanding.

"Ohhhh, oh I'm sorry cupcake, It must have slipped my mind that you may sore from last night's activity's and every other night..." Xavier said shyly right before he got a devious look in his eyes.

Uh oh

In one swift motion Xavier had scooped me up in to his arms, thankfully I had been clothed sometime last night so I wouldn't be giving him a show. Xavier then headed out the door and headed towards I'm guessing the kitchen.

When the smell of bacon wafted towards my nose I knew I was right.

We assiled into the kitchen where I was greeted by two very large men... making breakfast.

"Good morning sleeping beauty", called Lucian.

"Your just in time for breakfast- why is Xavier carrying you?", Damien asked amusement evident in his eyes.

"I'm a little sore", I mumbled into Xaviers neck.

A thick blush covers my face, why do we have to keep discussing this?

Xavier puts me down on one of the stools in the kitchen.

A moment of silence passes before the three of them burst into a fit of laughter. The blush soon leaves my face and is replaced by anger, what the hell are they laughing about? What is so damn funny about this?

I jerk my head out of Xaviers neck and glare at the three of them, at the sign of my glare the three of them instantly stop.

Good

"What's so funny?" I ask

The three of them share a look before, Damien quickly defends,"Nothings funny we just never thought of it from your perspective... that's all".

"Look I may have been born at night but it wasn't last night" I reply adding my hands on my hips for extra emphasis.

They once again share a look before Damien and Lucian both use their lycan speed to grab plates full of food and bring it to where I was sitting.

"An offering to you our radiant goddess", Lucian says while bowing down to me.

My goddess they're weird, cute, but weird

"Ok I'll let it slide for now". I say while narrowing my eyes at them.

When the come to sit down, I finally look around at all the food and there was a lot more than usual. I mean they can eat but not this much, right?

"Uh guys what's with all the food?" I ask while eyeing it all.

"Well now that we've mated, there's a really good probability that your pregnant, and since your human you'll need to consume a lot more food to keep both you and the pup healthy", Damien casually replies.

Pregnant!?!

There's no way in hell I'm pregnant!

My mind couldn't process it, and neither could my body apparently, I got up and the room began to sway and spin then everything went dark.

Unknown to them some one had been eavesdropping on their conversation. The spy quickly snuck away without being seen.

Then as quick as he could he raced to the border to get back to his proper territory. Once he was across he raced up to the vampires castle.

He headed straight into the throne room to deliver the wonderful news he had over heard.

"Mated and possibly pregnant my sire" the man said.

On his throne the vampire king had done something he hadn't done in years he cracked a smile. One that horrified the others in the throne room.

"How wonderful, everything is going just swimmingly. I can't wait for the day when we'll finally take back what was taken from us by those dogs". The King said evilly.
