《Love is Blind》8

I sit carefully. Very nice, place especially for a bachelor. I wonder what he's been up to. What does he do? Does he have a girlfriend? Maybe even a wife?
I smooth my hair down, tugging on my dress. He looks even more muscular than before.
The door opens, and he steps in.
He smiled when he sees me, and his eyes soften. "Thank you so much for waiting for me."
I go up to him and hug him. He sighs, putting his nose to my hair.
"You still smell like flowers, my dear Dahlia."
He looks down at me, stroking my hair. "I never thought I'd see you again."
"Akira. Look at you, Akira. You're so strong. And your eyes," I touch his eye lashes. "You can see again."
He nodded. "I have never been able to thank you for what you did for me, Dahlia. You're a saint. An angel. My angel."
I look away. "Am I what you thought I'd be?"
He smiled. "I knew you were beautiful....but I never imagined...I couldn't have imagined how angelic you really are. It is a blessing to have sight with you in my presence,"
My whole body burns. "I-If you speak to me like that...I might get the wrong idea."
He just tucked a curl behind my ear. "Or you could get the right one."
His eyes pierced mine. "You saved me. Nursed me to health. Protected me, with your own life. How could I...stop these feelings?"
I swallow. "Oh, you don't...those feelings—it's gratitude that's all. And I'm glad I could help—"
"No. I love you, Dahlia. And I have since the day you walked me from that beach and gave me clothes and food. I love you."

He leans in.
"It's too soon," I tremble, as he draws me into his arms. "You don't even know me."
"I spent almost a month with you, how can I not. You are very irresistible, Dahlia."
My body shakes in his arms. His so strong. So big. With a very stern look in his eyes. He's serious.
"I—"
"I don't ask that you return these feelings. Just please accept they're there. And let's keep in touch, yes? I don't want to lose you."
I nod. "I don't want to lose you either, Akira. You're so important to me."
He smiled. "Come, sit. I'll fix you a meal, relax. Tell me about yourself. What have you been up to? What brought you to Japan? Where have you been?"
"I'm here to sign an writer for my agency."
"Oh, how nice. And how have been enjoying Tokyo?"
"It's been nice."
"I'm glad. For the rest of your stay why don't you stay here? For free of course."
I smile. "That's sweet but I'd hate to impose."
"Kinda like a blind, amnesiac man who can't do anything by himself?" He snorted.
I chuckle. "Touché. I'll stay then."
He makes dinner quietly, before handing her a plate. "Here, my dear. It's full of nutrients, eat."
I smile. "Thank you,"
"You don't have to thank me for anything," he said...almost reverently.
I sit the bowl down. "Akira...you don't need to feel I'm...any type of saint. I just helped you."
"You are an angel," he insisted. "Nothing will ever convince me that isn't the truth."
"I'm just a human, Akira. You sound like...you worship me."
He looks down and then looks up at me. "I'm sorry. It's just...I'll work on it. I'll speak less formally I promise."

I nod. "Good."
"Please, eat. Flying so far must have left you drained."
"Thank you for the food. It's all delicious."
"I'm glad you approve!"
He smiled kindly, taking my dish as I finish. "Can I get you anything else? Really. Anything at all."
I smile shaking my head. "No, I'm fine thank you."
"Really, don't be shy. Anything you'd like—"
"And again," I glance away. "I'm just a human too. You don't have to look like that."
He paused, walking over to me. He puts his hand in my hair. "If I worshipped you angel, could I dare defile a god, with my lips?" He whispers, putting his lips on mine.
He pulled back slightly, taking my hand, sliding it down his chest.
"Could I touch you with this cursed body of mine? Or dream of filling you with me."
I shake my head.
"See? It's love that I feel," he kissed me sweetly, "Not worship. So, relax."
I can't help but feel...what is this feeling.
"Spend the night with me, Dahlia."
I nod. "Okay."

Bonded By Destiny
'Calm down Tamara, I can explain. ' My extra alert ears collected the sound waves, sending them to the brain for interpretation. I couldn't believe it! He was asking me to calm down after saying such words. 'My mind can only picture you between her legs right now, and you want me to calm down? ' The flames continued growing just as the invisible force wrenched me near him. His wide eyes met with mine as I leaned in closer to him, tiptoeing on my feet to reach just below his ear. 'The remedy for fire is fire.' My arms were convulsively grasped yet again by the inexplicable force. I failed miserably to counter the forced actions as my hands tore my blouse in an instant. 'No! ' His shout was a second late because the flames died out as my hands embedded into the cloth, pulling it apart in ferocious strength.*********-Orphaned and living as the only witch in a pack of werewolves, Tamara is hated and ridiculed despite her kindness.
